It is located in the beautiful secluded cove of Port Gaverne a short 10 minute walk up the steep hill to the picturesque harbour of Port Isaac - home of fictitious Doc Martin and Fisherman's Friends. Pop's Place is a self catering annexe with private patio and parking. A few yards away is Port Gaverne beach ideal for swimming, body boarding, sailing, beach-combing. Explore the Hartland Peninsula - the SW Coast Path is stunning here - and relax in the hot tub or by the wood-burner. This child and dog-friendly*, single-storey cottage is one of Cheristow farm cottages, clustered around the former farmyard; Guests can use the spa room with it hot tub & sauna and the children's play area, with long green views to the sea. *Up to 2 well-behaved dogs are welcome @ £25 per dog, per stay. 1 can be included on booking, for a 2nd we'd request payment separately.

Catchtime Lodge is one of our two private and self-contained holiday lodges at Five Acres Lodges. Spacious but cosy, the lodge will offer you everything you need for a home away from home stay. A perfect secluded space for exploring the beautiful surroundings of the Blackdown hills, visiting the nearby coastlines or simply relaxing in the private hot tub or by the log fire. The lodge is situated in a rural location on the land of our family home. We look forward to welcoming you to stay!

Old Parlour: Dog-lover’s peaceful/private caravan

Our static caravan is situated in the old parlour of our 16th Century home. Surrounded by beautiful views and countryside- it is quiet, private and rural. We are a little ‘off-grid’ - perfect place to read, see dark skies full of stars, have starlings swoop overhead and sleep in total peace. We are very dog and family-friendly here too- pets are allowed inside, there’s a private garden and access to a fully enclosed paddock to run around in off-lead/play footie. Kids are free to roam!

Seaview Escape is located on the edge of the Teignmouth shores with breathtaking panoramic views of the sea. The kitchen is fully equipped for all your cooking/eating requirements. Comfortable lounge with large TV. The corner suite (converts into a 2nd bed) Seaview Escape is ideal for a romantic escape a vacation with family or friends or a peaceful sole getaway. Decorated with good quality furnishings providing a stylish interior for your comfort. Dogs welcome £10 per dog per night.

Willow is a lovely, recently converted self contained suite. It overlooks the park and garden, and has been thoughtfully finished with your comfort and relaxation in mind. Everything is new and nothing has been forgotten. It is conveniently located to explore all that beautiful South Devon has to offer, both the beaches and Dartmoor. It is within a stones throw of the train and bus stations and walking distance to the local market town.

Ocean View

Ocean view boasts one of the best views on the North Devon coast and is the perfect base from which to explore Exmoor. Offering great views but also tv and fast WiFi for those days/nights inside. Parking is available for multiple cars in the gated yard, and the covered parking area has an allocated space. Lockable storage for bikes, surfboards etc. is available. The adjacent properties can be let together to accommodate larger groups.

Oak Tree Barn

A spacious and luxurious barn conversion set in 260 acres of organic farmland where you can walk the numerous footpaths, sample the local gastro-pub or admire the views from our medieval castle site, all just 30 mins from the stunning Jurassic Coast. Guests can book hour long complimentary daily sessions in the Hillside Hot Tub and Woodland Sauna on arrival and truly immerse themselves in the tranquil surroundings.
