Hut holiday rentals in North Devon District

Had the best couple of days staying at the hut, was greeted by Alexandra who was extremely friendly and helpful she showed us the facilities and hut. hut itself was a lovely little place, we could've happily stayed for longer. If we are ever back in the area we would definitely stay again, thanks so much :)

We had a lovely stay at the Shepard’s hut. It had everything we needed, in a great location, perfect for a local getaway. Only wish we could have stayed longer.

Lovely hut inside and out, set within lovely gardens. Plenty of places to relax outside, especially the hot tub. We drove to the Bell at Broadway, lovely pub for food with plenty of options and majority can be gf too, including the home made pizza with a large selection of toppings.

This is our 5th time staying at The Glade. Myself, my son and our pooch love it there. Its so private, quiet and i love to sit amongst the wildlife and bird watch. A nice walk in the woods right beside the hut or just a chilled swing in the hammock. It is our favourite place to unwind. I love how everytime we visit the surroundings look different with the ever changing wildlife. It is as beautiful in winter and rain as it is in the sun and summer. Autumn has to be my favourite. Juliet is a lovely host and is not intrusive in the slightest. However she is very responsive if you need anything. We had a lovely chat this time whilst i was sat bird watching and she told me about a few birds she had seen. What can i say if you need to unwind then this is the place. Comfortable, quiet, homely and warm.

The Shepherd's Hut was a very comfortable and convenient stay for our needs. The interior is very cute and the theme is applied perfectly. Nice to be on the edge of a working farm. The escapee ducks were a highlight. Communication with Mandy was easy. We would come back.

Will and Gill were amazing hosts. We had an issue where we lost our car key while on a beach walk and they could not have been more helpful. Regarding the shepherd's hut itself, it was everything we hoped for. More spacious than appears I'm the photos and was more than enough room for two adults , two kids and a dog. Nicely furnished and well kitted out, it had everything we needed for a relaxing stay. Hot tub was a big hit with kids and adults alike. Very private and peaceful with large field for the dog to run around , it really had everything. Would recommend in a heartbeat.

Thank you so much for hosting us Tracy. The hut was perfect, beautifully furnished with lots of thoughtful touches. The best bit was the location, private and secluded. The view from hut was just of rolling hills - no buildings or even roads in sight! A place to unwind and de-stress.

Mike's place was an absolute dream for our pre-baby, relaxing getaway with our Whippet! It completely exceeded our expectations. The location is perfect, right on the SW coast path yet feeling wonderfully secluded, while still being just a quick 5-minute drive to Lyme Regis. Although the listing mentioned the garden wasn't fully secure, we found it to be very secure for our Whippet which was an added bonus. There are also several gates to pass through on the way from the parking area, adding to the security. Our dog lovedddd running about with a frisbee and then sunbathing ha! We honestly loved the property so much (especially the pool!) that we barely left, only venturing out for morning coffee and breakfast. Mike's recommendations were spot on – Poco Pizza was fantastic for takeaway, and communication was excellent throughout. We'll be hard-pressed to find another Airbnb that compares and look forward to coming back with our baby. Thank you!

The Shepard’s hut was the perfect, quiet and rural stay we needed to switch off from our busy lives! The Shepards Huts are set in the woodland area of the hosts drive, but far enough away from each other and their home. They are cosy, private and peaceful. Abbie has placed lots of small things that have a real homely touch. From board games to tea, milk and cakes which were left for us on arrival. (Always a win!). The hut is in a brilliant location with lots of popular towns and village's being only 20/30 minutes drive. We drove to Watergate Bay and for an evening dog walk along the beach and take away pizzas one evening. It only took a 20 minuet drive and I highly recommend as it was an amazing sunset! Although the Hut is set back from the local village, you could easily walk there. There is a small village pub, shop and a takeaway I really can’t fault this place and highly recommend to anyone booking a stay here. Thank you for having us and we will hope to come back again!

Lovely relaxing escape, just what we needed! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Owl Hut. From the moment we arrived, we felt welcomed, relaxed, and completely at home. Self check-in was very easy. The hosts, Nat & Mark not only left us with some very useful information about the hut and surrounding areas, but also left us a lovely little welcome note on arrival. The hut itself is beautifully designed, with so many lovely little touches that made it feel extra special. We especially appreciated all of the thoughtful dog essentials, our French Bulldog felt just as welcome and at home as we did 🐶 The location is so quiet and serene. We were able to slow down, reconnect, and fully enjoy the peaceful surroundings. We only stayed for one night but wished we could have stayed for longer. We highly recommend this beautiful place. Thank you for having us.

A great get away that was easy to find. With fantastic views and an extremely peaceful area surrounded by farmland. Would highly recommend and will definitely be back!!

Lovely few days stay at the cabin. We probably spent most of the time on the porch looking out into the woodlands. Everything was as described. It was an incredibly peaceful place to unwind. Would be more than happy to visit again. Communication was excellent. Many Thanks!

We enjoyed a fabulously relaxed & peaceful week at the little hut surrounded by wonderful nature. The shepherd's hut was very comfortable with nice furnishings & linen etc. We slept well in the bed & were able to cook a good range of foods on the hob & microwave/grill. The shower is large with a lovely powerful flow of water as hot as you like it. Lots of beautiful walks, coastline, beaches, harbours & historic places to visit. The hot tub was incredibly relaxing whilst watching the night skies and listening to the sounds of nature. Danielle was the perfect host, quick to respond to any queries & went out of her way to make suggestions of places to visit with our dog who is not so keen on busy places. A very thoughtful & enjoyable welcome pack was also appreciated, even our dog was provided with some luxurious treats - his new favourite. The perfect place for privacy, comfort & relaxation with a host who remains completely unobtrusive yet genuinely friendly & responsive when needed

We had a fanstic stay, the hut is beautifully presented with everything you may need, check in was simple and Carolines communication was first class...a deffinate 5 stars from us. Oh the view is amazing !!

Really loved the stay at Diddylake! Amazing hosts, gorgeous location, and really great facilities. We both had a lovely time exploring cornwall, then having our private little huts in Diddylake to come back to, and chill out in. Waking up in the morning with the weather being sunny was beautiful and peaceful, Diddylake its own little place of solace. It was such an amazing place to start and end the day. Will definitely make another booking to stay in the future! :) Thank you Jackson and Sandra!

Lovely shepherds hut in a very secluded and peaceful location. Clean and very cosy. Enjoyed sitting on the deck and using the hot tub watching the swallows dart around. If you want to recharge your batteries this is perfect. Close to Bridport and Lyme Regis.

I didn't actually stay myself but my daughter and her boyfriend did as it was part of her birthday present! She said -Rated 5, stars ovely place and fully equipped with everything we needed. Sauna was lush and easy to use. Any questions we had were answered promptly and Kate was great. Loved the cheeky tipple in the fridge too!!

The setting was absolutely beautiful and the hut was very well presented! Great suggestions for places to eat from Danette and the views and sounds from the hut of the countryside are unbeatable! We watched a barn owl from the hut on both nights we stayed!

Brilliant break at Pippins for a long sunny weekend. A really friendly place to stay in the stunning Somerset countryside. The shepherds hut was really well equipped and the location is ideal for walks, local amenities and exploring the area - definitely worth a ride on the steam train to Dunster, and we enjoyed our trip to the beach at Porlock Weir. Jill and Simon were really welcoming and gave us lots of useful info to make the most of our stay. Thoroughly recommended!

We had an amazing time here, the hut is brilliantly designed and has everything you could need. the garden was perfect for our Broder Collie who loved having the freedom to run around, and we had lovely evenings cooking on the fire pit. thank you so much and we can't wait to come again soon.

The shepherds hut was beautiful, it was so peaceful, never stayed anywhere so quiet, just the noise of a countryside. The animals all so friendly and funny. The photos of the booking looked amazing however when you got there it was so much nicer, the fire pit is huge and the gas bbq was so nice and easy to use. Needs updated photos of the hut to show it off better. Lovely walks in the field and into the woods. Me and my partner couldn’t have asked for anything nicer for our anniversary.
