Beachfront holiday rental in Normans Bay

-the cottage is exactly like what is shown in the pictures. - it is first time for me to stay in this kind of cottage, its a bit historic and interesting -the different rooms are on different floors, so expect flights of stairs, it is also communicated, so fine with us. -the location is between two towns (st leonard and hasting old town), it is easy walk to Hasting old town -the place is lovely, I would recommend it

We had a wonderful stay at this lovely cottage. Highlights were: amazing location right on the quiet beach, lovely garden with shade for hot days plus sunny spots too, large comfortable open plan living space, the coffee machine (complete with supply of pods), welcome basket, great position between Rye and Hastings - great for cafes and mooching round interesting shops - and variety of local walks on beaches and in countryside. And the wonderful hot weather we had! Mark was great at communication and checked in with us during our stay to make sure we had everything we needed. Would highly recommend and hope to return.

Spent a lovely and peaceful family weekend at Simone’s place. Upon arriving the Airbnb was very clean and tidy, looked just like the photos with some added personal touches in the kitchen (thank you). A lovely view over the beach which was so much calmer and peaceful in comparison to others beaches further along. 10 minute walk to the high street with some very nice independent shops. Simone was flexible on checkout which was great for us as we had nice weather the weekend we visited. 🙂 Would highly recommend, and I would definitely return!

Excellent central location. Easy to walk to the beach and into town. Lovely cosy flat very well equipped with everything we needed. Host was very friendly and gave great information and recommendations. Would love to stay here again.

Just got back to normality, from what felt like being in another world. The view from the apartment was stunning, two nights just wasn’t enough ! Fantastic place to stay, everything we needed and so relaxing. Loads to do in the area so time flew by. Highly recommend this place. Thank you Anna you are a star for sharing it with us !

Thank you Mathew for allowing us to stay with our dogs. Even though our stay was an emotional one, we felt right at home and that made things a whole lot easier. Being Autistic with other disabilities/difficulties, it can be very hard travelling and staying away at different locations. From the moment we arrived we felt like we belonged which really helped me to cope, thank you We loved the basement apartment, it was perfect from everything it offered, to the unique quaintness of its character, to how quiet it was, to feeling so warm and inviting. We look forward to returning again

We had a wonderful stay at your place. The bed was so comfortable, and we had a great night's sleep. The swimming pool was stunning and the lovely warm temperature made it very relaxing. Absolutely stunning location with an amazing view overlooking farmland, but only a short walk on to camber sands beach (2 minutes). We sat out every night and watched the sunset over the back of the caravan listening to all the wildlife. It's in a busy park but tucked in a corner so you wouldn't even know! The park itself was so good for the kids, loads of activities and entertainment on site to keep them occupied! The caravan is nicely laid out with lots of room for everyone (family of 5 + dog). We would definitely visit again!

Dolly’s Delight was an absolute treat. We very kick enjoyed our stay there. Superb accommodation, with luxurious bedding, 2 good showers, very well equipped and with a view of the sea. By night the stars shone brightly. The Bay is a lovely quiet park but with the benefit of the facilities at the main park 1 mile up the road. We ate at The Boathouse one evening and the food was very good with some good choices for children. We’ll definitely be booking again. Thanks Jenny.

A lovely little apartment close to the seafront and next to our favourite pub!! The flat was clean, and had everything we needed. The only slight issue was finding the building but Bec has said she’ll amend the instructions!! It was a bit noisy between 11pm-midnight and then when the nightclubs emptied, but we weren’t too disturbed. It is very close to a great range of restaurants, the Lanes and the pier. A fantastic base for exploring beautiful Brighton!

Lovely place, within walking distance to the amenities, very clean, loved the games in the cupboard. Very well equipped and the bunny population was an added bonus! We highly recommend

We stayed for the bank holiday weekend. The area is peaceful, the only sounds we heard was the birds, which is very welcomed since we’re from London! The lake is only a few steps away and the sea in a 5 minute walk. The caravan is as described, clean and tidy and we felt very much at home. Amanda was responsive to questions, which is so helpful. The beds are super comfortable and the shower was lovely! We only cooked breakfast at the caravan but kitchen wise it has everything you could need. Our only gripe is the phone service is awful around the whole area, no signal and the WiFi wasn’t strong in the caravan, so we had a grumpy son at the start of the holiday 😆 but all in all we have such a lovely stay. Amazing, responsive, accommodating and understanding host :) We accidentally checked in 2 hours early as we didn't read the instructions quite closely, thinking that we had to check in *before* 3pm instead of after! Thankfully, the cleaner that arrived at the time and David himself were completely understanding and extremely kind and understood! The apartment is clean, beautiful and next to amazing locations that are easily walkable. Definitely worth the price and an exemplary place to stay at :)

We had a lovely stay at the cottage. It was very clean and comfortable, with everything you could need provided for. Helpful local information and books were a bonus. Friendly communication and clear instructions were helpful. Dungeness is a unique place, and the cottage is so well situated for views, walks, very close to Prospect Cottage, Pilot Inn and Snack Shack. The little railway was great fun (we walked to the station). On our last night there was a storm and we watched the lightning over the sea and power station which was amazing! Thank you for being great hosts.

Peaceful haven of calm and tranquility, with the most friendly and helpful hosts, and what a view! We loved our few days at The Lookout.

Cleo was great host, responsive and kind. Excellent location, we loved staying right on the beach. It was nice being in a quiet little town, but having several options nearby that bigger beach towns have available. Our only complaint was the road coming in was pretty rough, but Cleo can’t change that.

My family and I wonderful stay at this Airbnb. The apartment was spotless which made us feel comfortable and at home right away. It was thoughtfully stocked with all the amenities we needed, from kitchen essentials to towels and toiletries. The views from this flat are stunning! We enjoyed looking out at the sea. The flat is situated on a hill about a 15 min walk away from the old town and town centre which was perfect! Overall, it was a smooth, comfortable, and enjoyable experience. I really appreciated Bindu’s attention to detail and would happily stay here again. Highly recommended!

Really close to the station, bars restaurants and supermarkets 1 min away, close enough to the sea front, walk in 10 mins, quiet in the evenings

Joanne is an extremely understanding person. I complained about the TV not working and the real reason was that at the time I put the TV on it was the internet that was the problem. When I realised this and apologised for my mistake Joanne was very kind to me in her response. I would certainly stay again
