What a great place, to stay at. I would recommend it to anybody visiting the area. Also the home is very pleasant to stay, very clean, lovely views from th living room, over the pond and the fields. Very quiet location for sleeping. The breakfast is very complete with fresly baked breads and croissants. And Cathie was so kind to let us pet her horses and goats. Thank you for a very nice stay, Cathie!

Such a nice, peaceful and cosy place! We stayed here to discover the Lauwersmeer with its variety of birds. It was lovely to start the day peaceful and end it cosy at Hans-Eriks place. Definitely would recommend! Would love to come back in a different season as well.

We had a great stay! The apartment is located in a quiet and natural environment, is tastefully decorated and equipped with all comforts. Everything was sparkling clean and well cared for. The location is ideal: you can be in Harlingen and Franeker in no time. Ympkje is an incredibly friendly and attentive host, who is always ready. We felt welcome right away. Had a great stay in the small apartment. Very fully furnished. A wonderful location to completely relax and unwind. You should not be very afraid of spiders and mosquitoes :-)

The only issue is that the ceiling in the upstairs loft is 190cm so if you're tall this cute cottage isn't probably ideal.

It was all to our complete satisfaction! Exactly what we imagined for our honeymoon. It was quiet and relaxed, you could really switch off there. The house was very high quality and clean. Simply chic! We felt very comfortable. Natalia was always available, you always felt well taken care of. She also always informed us about possible activities or restaurants and Lolale. Nothing negative can be said! It was just perfect!

We spent a wonderful week in this fantastically beautiful holiday home! Together with friends, our children and their children, we were able to enjoy the peace and nature to the fullest. The house is very tastefully decorated, absolutely clean and leaves nothing to be desired – you immediately feel comfortable. The surroundings are idyllic and perfect for families: the children were allowed to visit sheep and move freely on the adjacent pasture. They were also particularly enthusiastic about the orchard, where we were allowed to pick to our heart's content. There is a cosy restaurant nearby, fresh honey from their own beekeeper and eggs from the chickens right on site – simply wonderful! The hostess was extremely friendly, spoke very good German and was particularly warm in dealing with the children. We felt completely welcome and can recommend this place without reservation.

Great apartment, very nicely decorated. It was not one of the usual very clean anonymous apartments, but simply a home.

We had a great time with six adults. The space was good for the six of us. Monique and Peter sent very clear instructions about the accommodation. Immediately after booking, we were informed that a number of sleeping places are accessible with a somewhat steeper staircase. Very thoughtful but was also already clear from the description and the photos. Beautiful view, beautiful, very large garden. Sauna was wonderful all in combination with the outdoor shower. Space to put the bikes down dry, very nice. Being able to charge your car is also a plus. And Peter and Monique were super nice. We even got a discount on the use of the sauna because they found it annoying that the weather wasn't so good. I can recommend it to anyone who wants to get away from it all with a few people and enjoy the peace and space.

AirBnb stands out strongly from others. This is an excellent place to unwind! We even liked the accommodation better in person than in the pictures. An absolute one-of-a-kind and highly recommended. The hosts are very nice and uncomplicated. Thank you!

We had a great time in this beautiful house right on the water! The location is simply fantastic – you can look directly at the water from every room. The house is very modern, stylish and designed with great attention to detail. The kitchen has a lot of kitchen appliances and spices. In general, nothing was missing in the furnishings. A small note for those with a pollen allergy: there is a lot of nature in the area, which is wonderful - but it is advisable to have allergy medication with you if you are sensitive. We would come back anytime and can absolutely recommend the house!

The best neighborhood , a minute walk from downtown and a place that feels just like home! Timnette and her husband welcomed us to their beautiful home and very lovely people . We checked in early because we arrived early but enjoyed the walk straight after in the area. Plenty of restaurants around , supermarket is 5 minutes walking and home was fully equipped with everything. I wish we stayed for longer it was th perfect holiday home. Thank you for making our stay super memorable with my mother 🫶🏼

I had a wonderful stay! The host was polite, very responsive, and maintained great communication throughout. The location is excellent—close to everything I needed—and the apartment was spotless, well-organized, and incredibly comfortable. It truly felt like a home away from home. Our stay at Christel's was perfect! The house is welcoming, clean, comfortable, spacious. The bed is really comfortable! After a good day of sightseeing, it is very pleasant to return to this quiet neighborhood, surrounded by nature. You can easily reach the city centre by car in less than 10 minutes. Christel is an attentive host. We'll be happy to go back!

Jolanda's place was perfect for our 1 month stay. The patio was great for sunny breakfasts. Small town with everything you need. We made some great friends in town. Lively on weekends and quieter during the week. Centrally located to other fun towns. There is about a 10 min walk to the train station. Highly recommend this Airbnb and town.
