BALTHASAR RESS Guesthouse am Rebhang im Rheingau

The "Balthasar Ress Guesthouse" is the guest house of the renowned Balthasar Ress winery in the Rheingau. Primarily designed for the winery's own guests, it is also sometimes available to other guests. The architect's house is located in the "Rebhang" settlement, one of the most exclusive and beautiful residential areas in the Rheingau wine-growing region. The settlement is located at an altitude of around 400 m, around 300 m above the Rhine and is surrounded by meadows, vineyards and the forest.

Take a holiday in the luxurious ambience of our guest house. It is part of our SCHOTTENHOF winery and integrated into our farm building. The nearest neighbour is about 100 metres away. The 4-hectare farmstead is idyllically situated in the middle of the vineyards and can be accessed at ground level on two sides. You can start hiking or cycling directly from the farm. The kitchen is fully equipped for self-catering, including a wine cooler. Beer pong party people, please don't book!

Treat yourself to a visit to our half-timbered house Anno 1690, renovated in 2019, in the very quiet old town of Stromberg, right by the Schlossbrunnen fountain below the 3 castles. The kitchen on the 2nd floor is excitingly located in the former battlement of the city wall. The medieval building still has the typical steep oak stairs and the ceiling height is outside the norm. We didn't have the heart to tear down Grandma Hilde's house. So we renovated the house for 1 year and got as much charm as possible.
