Charming, riverside log cabin on the bank of the Kennett, overlooking a nature reserve. Privately located in my back garden there is a large open plan room with 2 double sofa beds, sleeping 4, a slate bed pool table & Hi Fi system. There's a luxury en suite bathroom with copper bathtub, shower, basin & WC. There are basic kitchen facilities with kettle, toaster, double hot plate, microwave & grill, sink & refrigerator/freezer. A veranda with 2 bbq's & seats plus lower deck overlook the river.

Vodafone Headquarters is a 15 minute walk, or 5 minutes by car. Newbury Racecourse is a 15 minute walk, or 5 minutes by car. Newbury railway station is a 15 minute walk, or 5 minutes by car.

The house was 'created' in 2020 having originally been part of the village pub - it’s now part of a redeveloped property which also includes the owners home and a fabulous cafe called Artichoke Cafe. The property is right in the heart of the picturesque riverside village of Pangbourne with its fabulous specialist shops, cafes, restaurants and pubs. Yet only ten minutes walk gets you to the countryside! The village also boasts a mainline station with direct trains to London Paddington.

Set on a former dairy farm, on the Berkshire/Hampshire border, The Hay Loft is a recently converted first floor studio flat finished to a superb standard. With views of Watership Down, The Hay Loft is off a quiet country lane leading directly into the Greenham Common nature reserve; it offers a very restful, rural retreat. Ideal for cyclists, hikers and nature-lovers, red kite circle overhead, deer wander through, so much nature to enjoy. Close to Highclere Castle, Newbury Racecourse.

Lovely self-contained annex with outdoor space
A lovely self-contained annex furnished to a high standard in a quiet rural location on the Berkshire/Hampshire border, close to Newbury and Oxford and walking distance to Highclere Castle (Downton Abbey). Fenced secluded garden area with seating and BBQ for outdoor dining. The Annex is completely separate from our house with its own entrance and there's an allocated parking space for one car. Well behaved dogs are always welcome and there are some lovely walks on our doorstep.

Nearby attractions include Highclere Castle, Greenham Common, Stone Henge, Newbury and Winchester. Oxford (35 miles), Bath (70 miles) and London 45 minutes on the train from Newbury or Basingstoke.

During the colder months enjoy a cold plunge, beneficial for body and mind. Ease your aches and muscles in the hot tub. Please note: you are using the pool and hot tub at your own risk, there is no life guard! Please watch children and non swimmers in the pool and hot tub at all times.
