Great place to stay for a long weekend!

We had the best time!!! We had a whole group of friends, children and dogs and the place was perfect!! They blew up a jumping castle for the kids. There was plenty of activities for the adults like table tennis, volleyball etc. The house had ample room for people to sleep and camp. Megan was so communicative and helpful. The kitchen was full of every piece of crockery and cutlery you needed! We loved it and would go back in a heart beat!!!

This house is beautiful and exactly as pictured. Lynne and Dennis were very helpful and easy to communicate with. We stayed during some not great weather but that no issue at all and it was quite lovely to sit outside with a drink and BBQ and watch the storm and Birds. The kids enjoyed using the kayaks and fishing.

Peaceful and relaxing place right on the river. Clean and cosy house. Kev and Kez were quick with responding to the messages. Would love to come back again.

We absolutely loved Mark & Sandra’s place, they really thought about every detail and went above and beyond our expectations. The place is a lot bigger than it looks in images and we had a fab time with all their extra entertainment. Thanks for the thoughtful dog treats tooo!

The place is perfect with a beautiful view of the Kalang river and close to the beach as well. With the kayaks at the property, it was so much fun to paddle around on the river. There is a shell gas station right across the street which makes it easy for any immediate requirement. Overall, my friends and I had a great couple of days. Thanks Sarah!!

Loved our stay at Driftwood! Perfect size and layout for our three families. We all agreed it was the perfect location as we got to enjoy the beautiful lake views and direct lake access for kayaking, while being only a short drive from a great selection of pristine beaches. We will be back!

We were looking for a getaway amongst nature where we could take it slow and be cosy during Winter - this place was exactly what we needed! We stayed early June and the weather was getting cool but we were cosy with the wood fire, other heaters and woollen rugs. We went for walks along the beach and runs in nature and went fishing and spear fishing. We played Hockey in the back yard and bird watched out the window of The Shack. We loved the linen on the beds and cooked some yummy meals. A real getaway long weekend!

The Church was a gorgeous place to spend a long weekend. Lovely surroundings and great facilities.

Stephanie was a great help getting inside as the second gate can be missed. But lovely cosy home perfect for winter getaway and exploring the area. Feeding the horses and ponies was a highlight and sitting outside by the fire pit looking at the stars was magical

We came here for one night as a stop on a road trip. It was out of the way but easy to get to with the instructions. I wasn’t feeling well after a day of driving and it was so cozy and did the trick.

We stayed at Caitlin & Michael’s cabin for our honeymoon and absolutely loved it. The space was comfortable and well laid out, with a cosy bedroom, large luxurious bathroom, and a kitchen and living area that felt like home. The wood fire was a real highlight and we appreciated the generous supply of firewood, kindling, and matches. Their local food recommendations were incredible—we followed every one and had no regrets. We also enjoyed cooking in the well-equipped kitchen and using the BBQ. The peaceful location was stunning, with no nearby noise and beautiful local wildlife all around. Whether it was sunny or rainy, the cabin was the perfect place to relax and unwind. We’re already planning to return. Thank you, Caitlin & Michael, for an unforgettable stay!

A rare gem—pure bliss by the lake! We stayed one night at Cottage by the Lake, but it felt like a world away from everything. Just 5 minutes from Hanging Rock, this stunning waterfront property features two tranquil lakes, complete with a rowboat and kayaks that guests are free to enjoy. The cottage itself is warm, inviting, and beautifully appointed with a wood fireplace (firewood generously supplied). The upper-level attic bedroom is spacious and cosy, while the well-stocked kitchen had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. Hosts Ann and Kevin were incredibly friendly and welcoming. We’d be remiss not to mention Jock, the sweetest dog who welcomed us on arrival and came by for regular visits. He loves pats and hugs and truly made us feel at home. This place is a nature lover’s paradise—kangaroos all around, stunning views, and absolute peace. A rare find we won’t forget. Wish we stayed longer. We will be back for a longer visit next time!

Had the most beautiful stay at Eamonn's on the river. The place is so sweet & exactly as described and pictured... such a serene escape with beautiful scenery, great amenities & hosts to match. We enjoyed sitting by the lake and outdoor fire place every evening which was stocked with wood and fire lighters to get us on our way. It was my hubby's bday while away & Eamonn went to the extremely kind trouble of baking a scrumptious cake to celebrate which he delivered to us. We also got to mingle with a litter of puppies which was a treat & added bonus : ). Eamonn came to the rescue when my husband has an allergic reaction as well , promptly bringing over some antihistamines early in the morning. Twas a perfect weekend, owed to the place and hosts. Thanks so much for having us and spoiling us!

Howard was a wonderful host. The house was immaculate even came in to awesome music playing when we first arrived, the scenery was breathtaking and the overall experience was something you don’t get often in the city. My partner and I will definitely be back!

We had a lovely stay at this waterfront property. The views were stunning and the little touches, like a bottle of wine on arrival, were a nice addition. The host was friendly and accommodating making sure we had everything we needed. It’s a great spot for a relaxing getaway and we’d happily stay again!

the stay was beautiful and we had a great time, so happy we were able to bring our dog and he loved it. Bonnie left very clear instructions for how to get in to the property (however i wasn't able to see the byron built signs mentioned), and how to checkout. check in and out process was smooth. the airbnb was immaculately clean and beautifully styled, perfect for a couples getaway. also props as it is very disability friendly. really great amenities available with a really well stocked kitchen, BBQ, and utensils. the surrounds and property were beautiful and backed onto a beautiful creek which wouldve been perfect for swimming if it had been sunny. only note is that it was described to be private/secluded. although we had no issues with it, the next closest unit was only around 50m away and when the people staying in the unit returned they were able to see into the lounge room of our unit quite well. very minor criticism as this didn't bother us at all.

Jenny was extremely helpful, when we struggled finding the address due to it being dark outside by the time we got there. Beautiful place, everything you need. Right next to the beach. Had a great time :)

We had a wonderful weekend stay at this beautiful cabin! The location was perfect — right next to the lake, and just a short walk from the Indian Coffee House restaurant, which was a great bonus. The cabin itself was very well-organized, spotlessly clean, and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The peaceful surroundings and proximity to nature made it the ideal getaway. Highly recommend this place for anyone looking for a clean, cozy, and conveniently located retreat.

Excellent cabin in a lovely tranquil location. Great hosts with everything that you need in the cabin plus more, to have a relaxing time outside of the city. Great for fishing and beach walks, close to amentities if you need to stock up on food too.

Cant get over how beautiful our weekend was, staying at this Air BnB. So so peaceful, the house is done so homely. There’s no much to add, as the description depicts it perfectly. I would recommended, highly!!!

Gorgeous place to stay, helpful info from Nicky, wish we could have stayed longer. The setting is so peaceful and loved it even in the cold of winter. Enjoyed paddling there on our kayak from Mooney Mooney, such a stunning part of the world so close to Sydney and wonderful to arrive and enjoy the hot shower and a cup of tea!

Cris was excellent host. Everything was there for us. Unfortunately weather wasn't good to enjoy the big fire pit. We will come back during good weather to enjoy the fire pit. Excellent outdoor settings to have morning breakfast or BBQ
