Barn accommodation in New South Wales

My husband and I had a lovely one night stay at Lizzie’s cute little place! We loved the greenery inside and outside the house, the quiet area it’s in, the bed was comfy and the kitchen had everything we needed. Highly recommend staying here, and we would love to come back on winter to chill in front of the fire.

Thank you for the team and Betty for being kind and letting us stay at her home. She showed us around and left food for us in the fridge. Place was clean and views were great highly recommend for a gateway away from everyone

Staying at Fiona's was such a beautiful experience. Nestled into a hill with views across beautiful fields and bush environs of Yandoit. From the moment of opening the door the interior spaces were very welcoming. The building has been lovingly restored, adapted and furnished. My partner and I greatly appreciated feeling comfortable to spend time relaxing, cooking and sitting in the garden, and going for walks along the country roads. When we felt like being more social there was the option to drive to nearby towns like Castlemaine and Daylesford. It feels rare to find such a place.

Jennifer was a fabulous host. The Stable was beautifully appointed, a great environment to chill out. It was also close to Milton and a short drive to the beach. Special touches of homemade provisions made it so welcoming. Thanks Jenni.

Well appointed, toasty warm and beautifully styled. Great to be able to bring our dog but surrounds not fenced so not quite as relaxing as it could have been. Delish dinner and granola, thanks Warren. Snow on our last day was magical. Thanks for a memorable stay.

We had a great time staying here. A very peaceful area with lovely views. The pool table was great fun and the place has lots of fun and interesting things to look at. We would definitely stay here again :)

Such a great getaway at the Alpaca Shed. It is beautiful and simple and quiet and so "away from it all".. and the surrounding area is just beautiful. Also The Channon pub is great for a drink and a feed. Can highly recommend staying here 😊

Was such a beautiful place to stay! The design of this little air bnb was like out of a book, would highly recommend to everyone. The extra touches like a cheese board and breakfast were so thoughtful. And the outdoor hot tub was so unique, we really loved every minute of being there. Amy was such an amazing host and responded within minutes, thank you so much Amy! Hope to come back soon :)

We had a very relaxing stay at Basil's Folly. The place is absolutely beautiful and well-maintained. Our son loved the donkeys and the chickens. We will definitely be back.

Beautifully decorated and welcoming space, felt very roomy and the bed was comfortable and vast. Perfectly located within an easy walking distance to town. Beautiful garden setting which felt very private and I was able to park right outside the studio, pulled over in the lane. Beth left some little treats and I felt very welcome. I can’t wait to come back!

We cannot thank Ingrid enough for providing such beautiful accommodation. The serenity of the property, especially when having a cuppa early in the morning on the verandah was wonderful. Facilities were excellent, as were the aesthetics of her styling. Having such a beautiful place to stay, just topped off a weekend celebrating our son’s wedding.

Emma's place was lovely! It's quiet, peaceful and private with beautiful surroundings and cute animals; the donkeys are very friendly and the tennis court is a great touch too. Would come here again!

Our stay was peaceful and enjoyable. We liked the kayaks, SUP, garden and beautiful surroundings. The sauna had a lovely setting and outlook. The nearby places had lovely walks and beaches.

We booked Paramoor because I was looking to find somewhere similar to my childhood home - and I was successful. We were surrounded by beautiful gums. We loved all the birds (black cockatoos, kookaburras, wrens, corellas and best of all, the hens (who looked like they were straight out of an Aardman movie). The cabin was lovely – a perfect hideaway that was rustic but had every modern convenience you might need. There was a wood fire and enough wood for the entire weekend. We roamed through paddocks, meeting kangaroos, as well as their friendly horses and sheep. We enjoyed a wine tasting and had an amazing dinner in Kyneton at Midnight Starling. Lunch the next day at Little Swallow Café. We drove back to Melbourne feeling refreshed but would have preferred to stay longer. Our hosts were helpful, informative and very genuine in their enthusiasm for their business. I highly recommend.

My partner and I had three beautiful days and nights staying in this gorgeous Barn. We were looking for somewhere to rest and recharge after a hectic few weeks and the Barn was perfect. Immaculately clean, presented and decorated, anyone staying here will feel spoilt. We loved the wooden drawers from Prague in the kitchen, having a morning coffee sitting on the deck overlooking the creek, the welcome box of chocolates and bottle of organic wine - perfect! A big thank you to our host, we would love to return for another stay.

We had such an incredible stay at Judy and Grahams beautiful house. It was so much better than expected and the photos don’t do the house and location justice. Judy was so helpful and great to communicate with. Will be staying there again :)

We had a very good 3 night stay. The accommodation was well set up and exceptionally clean with generous supplies. Comfortable king sized bed with nice linen and blackout blinds ( apart from little triangular window at very top ) Sue met us upon arrival to show us the unit then completely respected our privacy.

We had an amazing time at the farm. The Woolshed was so cute and homey. The beds were comfy and was in a great location for day trips. We loved meeting the sheep, chickens and dogs. Highly reccomend.

Exceptional stay! I can’t say enough good things about The Dairy. What an extraordinary place. Beautiful, peaceful, serene…..we loved it. The bedrooms are comfortable, the living area open (literally the doors open all the way to the outside!) and the bathroom is truly a work of art (my daughter referred to her bath there as a “spiritual experience.” Ha!). It really is something to behold. And the location on the macadamia farm is so green and lush and quiet, despite being only a few minutes drive from the busy beaches of Lennox Head and Byron. We didn’t want to leave. And Julie was a delight to work with from start to finish: full of recommendations, easy to reach, quick to respond….a wonderful host. You won’t regret staying here. Glenmore Springs is the perfect location for exploring the King Valley, surrounded by different options for bush walks, wineries and spots for swimming in the river. Also just the most peaceful place to sit and enjoy the country side, with beautiful views of the farm and the river just 3 mins walk from the accomodation. Excellent hosts. Thank you. Will be back again.

Patsy was a lovely host. The location of the house was great, close to town centre but with beautiful surrounding nature.

Thank you for hosting us at your beautiful accommodation. Your place was just perfect and unique. My husband and I said at the same time when we walk in, the photos do not do the place justice. It felt like we walked back in from a long walk and we were home. It had everything you needed from a fully functional kitchen, bread, milk and eggs upon arrival, dressing gowns and the bed was so comfortable. We went to Zoe’s place to relax and chill for 2 nights and that’s exactly what we did. Perfect weekend.
