Birds of a Feather Lockington

An affordable and unique stay in the Echuca region. A lovely historic building with a modern interior that’s been renovated to accommodate families and travellers. The house sleeps 6. In one room there is a queen bed and in the other a triple bunk with a trundle bed . The bathroom has 2 showers and 2 toilets. There are several areas to relax in with air-conditioning and free wifi. Enjoy a relaxing stay in Lockington or it’s a 25 minute drive to Echuca. Be sure to check out the Locky pub!

Our rustic 1903 mud-brick studio is made from river sand and mud sourced from the local Great Western area. The studio was built as a fruit kitchen by the Patching family who owned and operated a number of orchards along Concongella Creek and Salt Creek. The fruit kitchen has been recently renovated into a 1-bed studio which offers history and modern comforts. The cottage is surround by farm land meaning there is an abundance of animals to watch and enjoy, including Kangaroos.
