Welcome to our “bakhuisje”: a national monument from +- 1700. The house is cozy and comfortable; living downstairs, bed is upstairs on the mezzanine. It has a cozy electric fireplace and a comfy couch. The bathroom has everything needed. Kitchenette (without cooking) with small fridge + coffee/tea and a beautiful view (vegetable garden, greenhouse, fruit trees). Of course WiFi and a workplace. This brand new vacation home is located in a beautiful spot in the Krimpenerwaard and has all the comforts. The fully equipped kitchen, together with the adjacent sitting area, has a fantastic view of the polder through the large glass doors. The cottage is located at the back of our own property, adjacent to the polder. Relaxing here is actually a given. On the other hand, you are also within 1 minute of the cozy shopping street of Bergambacht.

The house is rented without a garden, but from inside or out on the balcony you will have stunning views of the mills. You can do it all in our cottage in the middle of the island of Hoeksche Waard. But Rotterdam, Dordrecht and Breda are also 30 minutes' drive away and can easily be visited from the location. The cottage is accessible by car via a private unpaved road and is surrounded by meadows.
