The old house at Solnes Gard

Part of duplex on active farm. We are the third generation to run the farm after my husband's grandparents got the farm as a wedding gift. Here you get to stay in the original farmhouse from about 1950. We live in the other part of the residence ourselves. Cozy place, fully furnished and with everything you need for shorter or longer stays. We have 8 alpacas and many goats on the farm. You can join us in caring for them on demand and if we have the opportunity in a busy everyday life when we are in full-time work and have four small children.

Take a break and relax in this peaceful oasis. In this cozy cabin you live in beautiful natural surroundings. River and mountain views from the window and on the tarassen. Nice hikes nearby, including Vallestadfossen waterfall which is 500 meters away. mountain hikes are also nearby. Below the cabin it is possible to fish trout (small) in the river. This free. Nearest town is Førde which is 30 mins away. Haukedalsvatnet is about 500 meters away from the cabin, where you can buy a fishing license. Here is a nice place to find peace.

If you want a day trip to famous attractions, you can drive to Geiranger, Via Ferrata & Loen Skylift, Kannesteinen, Refviksanden, Krakenes Lighthouse, Hakallegarden or the Alps. Cottage of about 60 square meters with 2 bedrooms plus loft. Own kitchen with crockery. The cottage is in a peaceful area with 3 other cabins. The chalet is at the end of a private road and the area is quiet and peaceful. There is barbecue at the cabin for fine evenings with sunset in the fjord. There is a fireplace in the living room and it comes with firewood that can be used if it gets cold. There is also electric heating in every room. Bed linen and cleaning are included in the price.

Aasengard ligger høyt og fritt midt i et flott kulturlandskap omkranset av ville fjell. Garden grenser til Geirangerfjorden som ligger på UNESCO`s verdensarvliste. Gården ligger midt i et flott rutenett for fotturer. Det er ingen dyr på gården. Det er også mange flotte toppturmuligheter i nærheten. Kvitegga, Bleia, Hornindalsrokken, Saksa og Slogen er fjell som er aktuelle både som skiturer og fotturer. Laksefiske i Korsbrekkelva kan avtales
