Based in the summer of Azumino and Ikeda Town, the view of the Northern Alps is stunning. You can fully enjoy mountain sightseeing at this time of year, such as Kamikochi, Tateyama Kurobe Alpine Route, Hakuba and Happo Pond.From late August to September, summer is a season where you can enjoy the quiet Shinshu. Go to the mountains and highlands during the day, and the tranquility of Satoyama at night. This is a rental cottage where you can enjoy a sauna, BBQ, and a starry sky. As a base for sightseeing in Azumino and Hakuba and Kamikochi, you can stay comfortably from one night to consecutive nights. Access to Hakuba, Kamikochi, and Tateyama Kurobe is also good, making it possible for group trips, family trips, and long-term stays.There is a washing machine and dryer, and it is comfortable for consecutive nights. You can also come by public transportation, but having a car is more convenient. Free pick-up and drop-off is available at Shinano Matsukawa Station and Meisha Station.Other transfers and sightseeing transfers are available for ¥2,000 to ¥8,000 (return) within 2 hours one-way.For more than 5 people, please consult in advance to accommodate car rental. Weekdays in September are still available. It is also recommended for student trips during the second half of the summer vacation or for couples and small groups.

Come and experience a real hideaway. We have created a special space where you can forget the hustle and bustle of everyday life and truly relax. The interior is compact but calm, with the warmth of timber, and from the window you can enjoy the changing faces of the forest through the seasons. It offers a luxurious experience of waking up in the morning to the light of the mountains and gazing at the star-filled sky at night. It is also ideal as a base for skiing, backcountry activities, hiking and forest walks, and is recommended for couples or partners looking for a stay in harmony with nature. It is also in the centre of Hakuba Village, so please enjoy a special time just for yourself in the tranquility of the Northern Alps. We can also pick you up from Nagano Station. Please let us know if you would like us to. We will provide seamless service without you having to wait in line for a bus. You can use it as a summer resort during the summer season from July to September. During the day, there is a cool breeze and the temperature is around 20°C, so it may be a good idea to have something to wear in the morning and evening.

Guest house Mökki is located in Shinano-cho, which is blessed with forests, lakes and snow in the northern part of Nagano Prefecture, and there are many natural places such as Kurohime Kogen, Lake Nojiri and Togakushi nearby. We also self-built a sustainable building with minimal environmental, social, and economic impact. In spring, the golden colour of the rapeseed blossoms awakens. The renovation was attended by Studio Sayapu led by Mr. Kitazawa, an artist based in Nagano.Focusing on Mr. Kitazawa's sensibilities, the company's craftsmen brought out the power of the old private house and finished it into a space that quietly accommodates sophistication while making use of the taste. This house overlooks Lake Nojiri and has a superb view. There are several ski resorts (Myoko, Kurohime, Madarao) about 15-20 minutes away by car, making it a perfect base for winter sports. Enjoy the wood stove sauna and the water bath with a view. There are no private houses around, so you can listen to music and watch movies loudly. Because it is a house located deep in the mountains, we take the best measures, but in the warm season, insects come out. It snows a lot in winter. In autumn, fallen leaves dance. You will also need to adjust the wood stove fire yourself. It's not an easy house to live in, but we promise you a great view and experience. Enjoy cooking with a counter kitchen with a view, condiments and cooking utensils. (There is no equipment for BBQ)
