The cabin has a large terrace, and otherwise a natural plot, with access to the beach and swimming raft. The cabin is fully equipped and has the character of a family cabin. There is decent room for 6 adults and 2 small ones around the table. Drinkable cold water. Hot water comes from water boiler tank. Compost bin. Outdoor shower. Washing machine for outdoor use. Poor Teliad coverage, good Telenor coverage. Canoe with vests (not kayak).

With only a 20-minute drive to Lyngdal and Sørlandsbadet, you have everything within reach. There are excellent fishing opportunities in the river in the area, provided you have a valid fishing licence.

Hønsehus Nedre Snartemo Farm

You will spend the night in the immediate vicinity of Snartemobekken which is a tributary of the river Lygna where the salmon play. Nedre Snartemo is an old farm with a barn that is under restoration. On the farm there are traces of settlement from the pre-Roman Iron Age and all the way to our time. The famous Snartemo sword was found just 200 meters away - in other words, you live in the middle of history.
