Sanson Terrace "Silk Barn"

Ohinata in Sakuho-town is a small village in a valley. I renovated a 80 years small wooden house by myself taking a long time. The building used to be used for raising silkworms by farms. It was our culture and industry to get silks in this area. You can have a calm time for having Coffee and beer, reading books, listening music... The village is surrounded by nature for hiking to mountains and rivers. Some local families live in around the house, so please stay like the village people.

Yokoya Farm is an apple farm located on a hill. 10 mins drive from downtown of Matsumoto. We’ll host you with the idea that we want you to enjoy staying at farmer’s storehouse, kura. It’s comfortable enough to stay with minimum facilities and it left the feature of the original building. The entire house is done in a classic style as used to be, except for a newly built kitchen, toilet and bathroom that provide all the necessities of modern life.
