We had a wonderful one night stay before visiting Polar Express Experience nearby. Lovely cosy cottage, close to great local pub that did good food!

Absolutely cracking place, a real ‘home from home’ feeling. Was perfect for the doggos and had everything you’d need for a comfortable stay, would definitely return and highly recommend 👌

David's house had everything you could possibly want for an enjoyable few days. It is an ideal base for walking. He has a comprehensive list of local walks backed by all the relevant maps. I would recommend this place to anybody. The house is ideal as a base for walks in the National Park and only walking distance to the centre of the town.

Perfect peaceful retreat but close to local amenities. Feel like hosts thought of everything, even a little honesty shop for marshmallows! Hot tub ready on arrival. Can’t think of anything negative at all! Would recommend and would return!
