Smoking-friendly holiday rentals in Monte Testaccio

From the moment we stepped into the place it felt very cozy. In a very quiet neighbourhood and as mentioned, a minute walk to the bus stop to take you to the city of Ancient Rome. Places to eat nearby as well. The highlight of the place was the spacious outdoor patio, where we took nap each afternoons. The place itself was equipped with nice comfy bed, kitchen with a fridge, microwave, dishwasher and stove where we made caffe every morning. The bathroom was nice and clean, we had one minor issue on day 1 but Apollonia and her partner came over right away at night to fix it and now that is going above and beyond to provide an excellent service. Grazie Mille :) Again, I can’t emphasize the Catello home, would definitely recommend this place and will book it again without any hesitation.

Logement très bien équipé et conforme aux photos. L’accès est simple par les transports en communs (bus et tramways à 30 m). Cristina a été très sympathique avant et tout au long du séjour.

Host was fast at responding and really helpful! Allowing us extra time for checkout and providing a list of suggestions about the local area. Room was great, Cosy felt at home with a great view over Roma!

This was such a lovely stay, Massimilliano was a great host, very easy going, friendly and flexible with us. This place is worth the money, it’s just a small walk to the train/metro station to get into the Center of Rome in about 20 minutes. We went as a group of young girls and felt very safe staying here and walking around the neighbourhood, including to and from the Metro stop. Thank you for our lovely stay and for being so accommodating with us!!

Sin duda fue una gran elección quedarnos en la casa de Luca. Fue muy buen anfitrión, horarios de entrada flexible e instrucciones claras. Estuvo atento durante nuestra estadía para ver como iba todo y nos brindo recomendaciones. La zona es segura y esta a 10 minutos a pie del Coliseo. Gracias Luca por tu amabilidad.

Nossa estadia em Artevere foi fantástica! A região contava com diversos restaurantes, supermercados e tudo o que precisávamos. As atrações eram de fácil acesso e podiam ser alcançadas tranquilamente a pé. Gostamos muito do apartamento — exatamente como nas fotos — e nos sentimos em casa desde o primeiro momento. Há uma padaria e um mini mercado localizado abaixo do apartamento. Minha filha de 04 anos ficou encantada com os peixinhos e o banheiro, um encanto! Um agradecimento especial ao Domenico, por toda a atenção e pelas orientações detalhadas. Sem dúvida, se voltarmos a Roma, a acomodação dele será nossa primeira escolha!

Simone was the best host I have ever had on Airbnb!!! The check-in instructions were so clear and easy to follow which was great after 30 hours of travel! The place was private and has everything you could want. Not to mention the courtyard is beautiful and a lovely place to relax! I would absolutely stay again and could not recommend it more!!

Our stay with Valerio was fantastic! He accomodated our late check in and welcomed us personally and explained all the amenities. The apartment is very luxurious and modern with the jacuzzi being the highlight. Very well furnished, the home had everything we needed. We were close to the Vatican so it made commuting to our tour very easy. We spent the evening outdoor part of the house, and thoroughly enjoyed using the jacuzzi while watching TV. We are glad we chose to stay with Valerio and we highly recommend!

Wir haben vier wunderbare Tage in Rom verbracht. Die Wohnung liegt gut gelegen, so dass man zu Fuß und dann mit Bussen oder Straßenbahn alle Sehenswürdigkeiten in Rom gut erreichen kann. Die Wohnung ist wunderbar ausgestattet und hat alles was man benötigt. Serena ist sehr freundlich und die Kommunikation war perfekt.Sehr zu empfehlen.

I cannot say enough about Klevin. The apartment was exactly as described, clean, gorgeous, quiet, comfortable, easy to access. Most importantly, Klevin was ALWAYS accessible to us. We were robbed in Rome and Klevin went above and beyond to help us get new passports in time to make our cruise. We owe our entire vacation to him and his kindness.

Our stay was awesome, and both hosts made everything very convenient. They are about a 15-20 minute walk from the metro station and you can get everywhere from there. They provided us with all the information we needed and answered our questions. The place is very homey, and I would definitely stay again!

Anna Maria is one of the best host I have come across my stays on Airbnb, she has an excellent independent house, sparking clean and close to Rome terminal (walkable 15 mins). The kitchen is equipped with all the utensils and equipments which helped to cook and feed my toddler during my vacation in Rome. The rooms are amazing with all the amenities. . I experienced very easy check in and check out and her helpfulness was really amazing and unmatched. . I definitely recommend this place to anyone who is looking for an Italian house close to Terminal and with good restaurants nearby.

Le logement de Giacomo se trouve à l'arrière d'une résidence paisible et bien entretenue du Trastevere. C'est Simin qui nous a accueillis de façon chaleureuse. Le quartier est très agréable, le logement est tout à fait conforme aux photos et vraiment bien équipé (notamment la cuisine). Nous avons beaucoup apprécié ce séjour romain !

Non abbiamo mai avuto un servizio come quello offerto da Cristiana e Pietro. Sono due persone squisite, aperte al dialogo e si fanno in 8 per soddisfare ogni tua richiesta (soprattutto ti aiutano con qualsiasi mezzo a loro disposizione) Considerato il periodo in cui siamo venuti a Roma (pieno di eventi, quindi con traffico intenso, problemi di parcheggio ecc), non potevamo trovare host migliore 😄

My stay at Marco’s flat was nothing less than spectacular. The location is so convenient. A mere 6 minute walk from Termini Station from which you can find train, metro, and bus options to get anywhere else in and around Rome. While it is very close to the busy Termini area, the flat itself is a peaceful, serene oasis. The flat has authentic charm and really feels like a home away from home. The terrace is huge and provides great views of the surrounding areas. The kitchen was well equipped and had many options for making espresso/coffee and Marco provides some basic sweet breads for breakfast. Marco is an artist and the flat has several of his paintings. There is a lot of great art in the place. It seemed that every time I looked around I would find something new to admire. I highly recommend Marco’s place when you are visiting Rome.

Fantastic find, quiet, relaxing and beautifully furnished penthouse apartment with private secluded roof terrace in the centre of Rome, 10/10 for us! This apartment is truly a DREAM. ♥️ It is clean, spacious and beautiful. The bathroom is amazing and we loved how quiet the neighborhood was during the night. Carmen is very friendly and gave us some good tips for restaurants. I can 100% recommend this Airbnb ♥️

Super séjour dans ce logement où tout est à disposition. Parfait pour quelques jours à Rome et facilement accessible en transport. L’hôte est très agréable et bienveillant. Forcément je recommande vivement !

Appartement exceptionnel. (Séjour de 6 nuits) Paolo s'occupe lui-même de préparer l'appartement pour ses invités et nous a acceuilli devant l'immeuble. On pouvait tout de suite voir qu'il s'en occupe bien. C'était ULTRA propre. Et ça nous a fait sentir bien durant notre visite. Matelas comfortable. Nous étions un couple avec bébé de 6 mois. Il avait déjà préparé la bassinette à notre arrivé. Le bus pour aller aux principaux sites ainsi que le Metro sont litteralement devant lappartement. À 2 sortie de metro de la garre OU 20 minutes à pied. Je recommende fortement.

This is the place to stay when in Rome if looking for a beautiful comfy Airbnb with a fabulous view from every window! The hosts were all wonderful and attentive. My friends very much enjoyed our stay. The place is walking distance to many sites/places to eat and a short drive from other sites you may want to see. The only thing I could say is that I would have requested the pull out couch be available if I knew it would only be prepared in the event of having 5 guests. I booked this place for my group of 4 so that we would all have our own beds, however the queen bed in the second room was definitely big enough to share comfortably for two people and this did not hinder our stay one bit! Highly recommend booking!
