Why stay in the bustle of Rome when you can unwind just a short train ride away in beautiful Frascati at the stunning Merumalia Vineyard & Agricultural Society? Enjoy the peace, views, and hospitality of this organic boutique winery. Giulia, along with sister Flavia and mother MariaTeresa, welcomed us warmly to a spacious, comfortable apartment and were incredibly responsive with local tips. We chose Merumalia to end an extended tour thanks to its easy access to Fiumicino Airport. Though we missed the hosted dinner, we loved the fragrant grounds, breathtaking sunsets, and panoramic views of Rome and the surrounding hills. Frascati itself is a gem—full of charm and flavor. Make Merumalia your relaxing base for exploring Rome, and return each day to the serenity of the vineyard.

The space is exactly as described. The location is excellent and easy to connect with other points. Lídia was extremely receptive and cordial, even though there was a miscommunication (due to a misunderstanding on my part) at the beginning of the stay. It made everything so much lighter! The building has a little complicated access with regard to the use of the elevator and entrance door of the B&B, but this is because it is a historic building. After the first entry, it easily adapts and becomes much more intuitive. The stay was excellent, overall, and the price was much better than the others for the location, since Rome is going through an absurdly expensive time for the jubilee. I recommend the accommodation and thank Lídia again for hosting us!

The room is just amazing. Very beautiful and clean, I was lucky enough to have access to my own terrace and it was ideal! The bathroom is very clean and well maintained, the linens are changed regularly. I booked for a first solo trip, I am very happy with my stay, I felt very safe and comfortable. On your own, with friends or family, don't hesitate to go!

Loved staying here, we were visiting friends who live in Trastevere so super close to them. But also to down town about a 15 min walk. Great cafes near for your morning coffee and croissants. Unique how they turned an apartment into a hotel. We never heard any of the other guests, just ran into them in the hallway one day. Everything was clean and beds were comfortable. Highly recommend if you are looking to get away from the touristy central Rome, Trastevere is one of the cooler neighborhoods!

If you’re looking for basic lodging very near Roma Termini, this is it. Great communication with the host and a very easy process all around. We didn’t cook in the shared kitchen, but if you needed to cook, there are the basic amenities. A change of towels daily, if requested. For the convenience factor, we would definitely stay here again.

Cristobal accommodated my request ASAP despite me booking the room only a few hours in advance. He annotated a map for me with the best suggestions for what, how and when to explore in Rome. Wi-Fi quality: rest assured, its quality is BRILLIANT. Whatever problem there might have been is fixed as of January 2025. 👍 The building itself is so grand, historic and incredibly beautiful (the inner courtyard looks like something from Dolce Vita or Mr. Ripley 😉)! The room’s furnishings are also vintage and very atmospheric — high ceilings, wooden wardrobes, traditional window shutters, antique chairs etc. There are shops open until midnight only a few minutes’ walk away. The location is PERFECT if you want to explore the sights on foot. The apartment has a great energy thanks to the host and his whole team (the lady in charge of cleaning and maintenance was lovely). We booked a spontaneous one night here for my husbands birthday, we had been staying in the center of Rome in 38 degree heat and were desperate for somewhere to relax with a pool! I can honestly say that it was the best money we have ever spent and we wished we had found this place initially and stayed the whole week! From the moment we arrived it felt like home, the staff are some of the friendliest people we have ever met and the hotel itself is beautiful. It is so peaceful and stylish and looks exactly like the photos. Loads of lovely chill out areas, great pool and outside area, spacious room and completely private terrace. Breakfast was delicious and we were recommended a lovely restaurant in the area by the hotel staff. Luisa was quick to reply to my questions and we are so happy she was able to accommodate our last minute booking. We will be back ASAP!

Luisa and her team was such a wonderful host. We loved staying at her wonderful place. We just can recommend everyone who’s visiting Roma to stop by. We truly looking forward to come back :)

It was an excellent stay and experience

the bungalow is very spacious and offers all the comforts, the shower is very large and the air conditioning is very efficient. There are many windows equipped with very covered curtains so you can rest even late and the lighting is very comfortable. In conclusion, I really appreciated the short stay thanks to the availability of the staff

A beautiful stay. Truly an oasis. The staff were absolutely wonderful. Incredible welcoming explaining everything you could possibly do, see and eat in the surrounding areas. They were also incredibly responsive with requests, and very nice people. The hotel room was small but beautiful, and had everything you needed. Breakfast was wonderful also. The pool was fantastic. A very good stay.

Beautiful room in a beautiful urban area - the room felt palacial and the terrace was such a lovely bonus that not every property in Rome can offer, the terrace felt really special and it was lovely to sit out in the morning with a coffee, and a beer in the evening. The location was perfect for us as we only stayed one night travelling in and out by train which is a 3 minute walk away, the other end of the street is another a landmark which begins your tourist route around Rome. Highly recommend, we would stay here again in a heartbeat. Thank you Daniele and team

Great location - room was as advertised.

Damiano welcomed me at the apartment, and he was very friendly. The place was great and very close to the main attractions in Rome. I didn’t need to use the train or bus to get around the city. I highly recommend this place!

Looked like the building is being 100% renovated. Everything on our place was brand new . The roof top terrace is beautiful , great place to relax , while you watch the city below you. Very comfortable. The location is in the middle of everything. Some of the finest Italian restaurants are within a 30 second walk to 10 minutes. Fantastic.

excellent spot for a quick stay in Rome

Tiziana's house is a great value for money, everything clean and organized, a very large room with a balcony and lots of plants and kittens, we love cats and plants so I felt at home! The kittens are in an outdoor space, they don't bother you, but if you want to interact, they are super docile. There is a market nearby, the bus stop we use most is a 5-minute walk away and takes you to several places, there is a subway station but it is a 20-minute walk, we also use it. It is not so close to the center, it will take you about 45 minutes to 1 hour and 15 minutes to get to the tourist spots. There is a lot of traffic in the area, so it takes longer to get there. There is a restaurant nearby that we like, BeloVerde, and there are some nearby that we have not been to. Overall we had a great reception from the hosts who were very kind and friendly to us and the place is super quiet and we rested well. We will recommend it to friends.
