We are nestled within the Cedar Ridge community, offering a peaceful ambiance on a two-acre estate, home to chickens and goats! Conveniently situated on scenic Grand Lake, featuring a public boat ramp and lake access. To enhance your stay, we provide a selection of board games, badminton, fire pit, and more! Ideally located within a 15-minute radius of dining options, shopping and Wolf Creek/Honey Creek state parks! We invite you to unwind and experience total relaxation in our serene setting!

The Deckhouse-Monkey Island Getaway

Relax and unwind after a day of exploring Grand Lake and all that it has to offer here at “The Deckhouse”. Enjoy the fire pit, play some shuffleboard or corn hole, or watch a movie on one of the 3 smart TV’s. Only 3.5 miles from Shangri La Resort, golf courses, marinas and restaurants are within 5 miles. We have games, toys, kid-sized table with 2 chairs, and a Nintendo Wii console/Wii sports for the kiddos. There is a private neighborhood boat loading zone just steps away. Pet-friendly.

Take a short trail to the rocky waters edge, explore trails on the acreage (bring your ATV or walk them), watch the Eagles fly, congregate around the fire pit, play a game of horse shoes, hire a fishing guide (best area for fishing!!), hit the nearby casino’s, enjoy the amazing sunsets and relax in our little slice of heaven. Launch your boat across the street at the private ramp & take advantage of the opportunity to fish in "The Crappie Capitol of the World" Golfers, the award winning Shangri la golf course & par 3 Battle Field are less than 1 mile away. Located on the Elk River arm of beautiful Grand Lake we are just 2 mi from Flint Fire Marina where you can utilize the boat ramp or fuel up. You can enjoy a shared dock for fishing or swimming and park your boat on the NE side of the dock while you stay. Enjoy your private entrance and private deck with fire pit and BBQ grill.

Kick back and relax in this simple, modern, rustic space. Enjoy being surrounded by nature and just steps away from the lake. Right down the road from Shangri-La you can enjoy the amenities of the golf course and the Anchor but in the comfort of this cabin space with a full kitchen and hot-tub just installed! This cabin is a single story 1 bedroom 1 bathroom with fireplace and large deck to relax on. Walk towards the lake and enjoy the community fire pit.

Peaceful cabin getaway. This home is very private. Has two bedrooms with two kings beds and one queen. You have water access. A hot tub, pit boss smoker, flat top grill and a large covered deck. We charge per guest! This allows a party of two to enjoy our home as much as a party of six. Be honest when booking. Book with the total number of guest you will have at the cabin. We have cameras and will cancel your reservation if you do not abide by this.
