Smoking-friendly holiday rentals in Mohawk Valley

I have been participating in AirBnB for almost a decade. All the places I have stayed at have been good or great. I have never had an "experience" before like I did with this place. This is the best host I have ever had with the little touches of kindness that made it really feel like home. The place was spotless and inviting. I could go on and on about how great this place was however the words would do it an injustice. If you are every lucky enough to stay here, you are in for a wonderful treat.

I truly enjoyed my stay at Susie's place. She was extremely welcoming, warm, and friendly. I loved having a place to stay right on the farm. My dog loved exploring and smelling all around the property. The rooms were spotless and very comfortable. I slept really well. All the animals were wonderful and I loved hearing their stories and having a change of scene from what I do day-to-day. This place and this stay was just what I needed. Easy access to nearby cute towns like Coxsackie, Hudson, and Catskill. I would love to come back again in the future. And I would definitely recommend this place to others.

We had a very relaxing stay at Lenny abd Boka's place. The driveway was very icy but Lenny was out every morning to put sand around our car so we wouldn't slip and fall!

Theresa was an amazing host, she clearly communicated with us along the way, and made sure we had our privacy & provided the upmost comfort. Her space was well kept and full of considerate touches to facilitate a relaxing stay, the subtleties go a long way. We enjoyed the hot tub in the snow, shared a few stories of skiing adventures & loved the friendly visits from Ben. The views were picturesque to boot, we definitely plan to come stay in other seasons.

We were racing at Oswego Speedway and down for the weekend from Canada. This was the perfect place to stay, very clean, quiet and close to the track. Julie was very responsive and accommodating. The unit was pristine and had everything that we needed. We will definitely be back!!

We enjoyed our stay at Melody Manor. The unit was immaculate and had everything you need. The view was fabulous! We were there in the off season so it was quiet - but, just what we were looking for. I can see how this would be a great place to stay in the summer - pool, tennis/pickle ball, kayaks, paddle boards, etc. Very happy with Rose and how responsive she was - will definitely consider staying here again if we are back in Lake George!

This is pretty much a perfect AirBnB rental. The place is so nicely decorated, full of charm, and easily walkable to the entirety of downtown attractions. My Mom and I were absolutely delighted with the stay. It’s also only about a 20 min (very pleasant) walk to the track. The hosts were very proactive in communications, the parking is excellent, and they even left a nice treat for us on arrival. The usual amenities are there as well as some less usual (shampoo and soap provided, sound machines in bedrooms) and the beds are excellent. With the proximity to town, you are able to hear some music and activity from inside the home at night - this is just a reality of staying in town on probably the busiest weekend of the year (Belmont) and was not disruptive to our stay at all but the sound machines were a nice touch to mask it. The hosts also left great recommendations for local restaurants that we took full advantage of!

Collin’s camp had just what we needed for a recent visit to family! We were grateful to find a place where we could bring our pups. The view is so peaceful and it was a great place to relax during a busy family weekend!

We were 6 adults and 4 young kids, and everyone had a fantastic time at Twin Peaks! The house is up in the mountains a bit, in a clearing surrounded by forest, overlooking the valley below, and both the house and property have a great feel. The views - especially from the great room - are reason enough stay here, but the house compliments the views nicely. Well laid out, nice flow, two working fireplaces, comfy rugs/carpets throughout, cool decor, comfortable beds, big finished basement for the kids. We hung out in every room, watched a few movies, cooked good meals, used the outdoor grill, hiked in the state recreation area behind the house, enjoyed watching the deer and turkeys, had fires in the outdoor fire pit, and had a great day of sledding right in front of the house. We also loved skiing at Plattekill Mountain, which is only 10 minutes away. I highly recommend Twin Peaks!

Vicki was an amazing host and her home was overflowing with charm. The perfect place for a peaceful escape to the mountains.

Stayed at Anwar's place while visiting for the holidays and felt right at home! The space was very comfortable and clean, and we had what we needed to do some cooking in the kitchen. The surrounding area is quiet and private, but still very accessible/close to the highway. Anwar was very communicative and helpful before and during our stay. Would love to stay again!

Helen was super helpful providing clear instructions for checking in and out & communicating fast and efficiently! The place was clean and peaceful to stay at. Would definitely recommend to friends and family!

We had a wonderful stay at Robert’s property while celebrating our child’s 2nd birthday. The home was beautiful, spacious, and impeccably maintained—exactly what we were hoping for. Even though the weather was a bit rainy at times, we were lucky to get some clear moments to enjoy the lovely surroundings, and the space was cozy enough to enjoy indoors as well. We invited a few friends over to celebrate, and everyone had a fantastic time. The home was perfect for hosting a small gathering and created a warm and welcoming atmosphere for our special occasion. Robert was an outstanding host—very responsive and thorough in making sure we had all the information we needed about the property. He clearly puts a lot of care into both the home and his guests’ experience. We stayed for two nights and truly didn’t want to leave. It was a memorable trip for our family, and we’re so grateful for the experience. Thank you again, Robert—we’d love to return in the future!

Kira’s place felt just like home - comfortable, clean, warm, and lovely. Kira was also very responsive and kind in all her communications with us. We would absolutely stay again, without a doubt!

Our extended family of 9 had a fantastic stay at Diamond Point. Plenty of comfortable space whether we all wanted to be together or space to be alone. Spotlessly clean and beautifully decorated. Rebeca was promptly responsive to the one issue we encountered, which was essentially weather related and all was well. Thank you Rebeca we had a wonderful stay.
