Farmstay holiday rentals in Mohawk Valley

We went for a quick weekend getaway with our two dogs and absolutely loved William and Liz’s home, we didn’t want to leave!! I loved the privacy, how peaceful it was, and of course the views! Our dogs enjoyed all the free space to run as well. We unfortunately had a lot of rain when we stayed, causing our tour of howes cavern to be canceled due to flash flooding. We were rescheduled which affected our check out time, but they were so sweet and offered us to check out whenever we liked and even offered us an extra night to stay! (We wish we could have). It was a wonderful weekend getaway and we all can’t wait to go back! :)

We had a wonderful stay at this Airbnb in upstate NY. The place was spotless and exactly as shown in the photos. It was comfortable, well-maintained, and perfect for a relaxing getaway. Highly recommend!

We loved how quiet and peaceful the location was. We also loved the homey touches- the local books, the honor store out back, the fact that there was the cafe under the apartment. The setting was beautiful and we loved falling asleep to the sound of the brook and the spring peepers!

I loved the peaceful reprieve from the Cooperstown hustle and bustle. Beautiful view of the lake and plenty of fishing and boating equipment to enjoy it. The basketball hoop to keep the kids entertained was a great bonus. Spacious master suite was great for parents.

Gail's place is the perfect spot for a peaceful getaway to the Oneonta area! There are so many thoughtful touches and amenities, including a fully stocked kitchen. The decor is fun and feels like a home, and the beds are comfortable. We found the location to be a great mix of quiet and private while being within a few minutes of restaurants, a gas station and grocery store. I would highly recommend Gail's home and I'd stay there again when visiting the area!

Beautiful space. Amazing countryside vibes. Fun hike down to the waterfall, great kitchen for cooking and a fun night in. There was lots of quaint stuff to do in nearby Middleburgh: thrifting, diners, 50s milkshake bar, antique book stores, hikes, breweries, and more. We loved that there was so many towels for the sauna and swimming. One note: give yourself a lot of time for the sauna to heat up. Instructions were clear and they gave us lots of local recs. Also LOVED the hammocks -- lots of cozy nooks to hang for a chill girls weekend. We might be back again! A great stay.

The hosts welcomed us upon arrival and showed us the way to the hobbit house in the backyard. It is located in a sweet country setting and feels like the Shire. A fun experience, with great decorations and details inside!

Really cute tiny house, clean and quiet with all the amenities I need. Very comfortable overall but special shout out to the great bed. I had the best sleep! Conveniently located for an event at the West Kortright Center.

Very clean house and comfortable bed. We enjoyed the amenities and making fires. Our dog loved running around the property and we enjoyed being close to town for grocery shopping, cafe access, and hiking trails nearby.

Jemma is an amazing host. Very responsive to questions and extremely welcoming. Place was warm, inviting, and well furnished. Place sits on a working farm that has rescue animals, including an emu, goats, and chickens laying eggs. Our sons (8 and 12 yr olds) had fun feeding the animals. We would return in a heartbeat.

Our stay was brief but perfect. Peaceful and away from the hectic life of the weekend wedding festivities. Thank you so much, Andie, for the beautiful stay and being such a gracious host!

Filip and Linn have curated a beautiful and well stocked cabin in the middle of the woods. We barely had to leave the property our entire stay there. There’s tons of activities and amenities to make the trip the best it can be. We fit 6 super comfortably in the cabin even during the rainy days. Definitely worth it!!

We had a lovely stay at this charming little farmhouse in West Edmeston. It was the perfect spot for our group of 8 adults and two babies—cozy, clean, and felt like home. The house had everything we needed and plenty of space for everyone to relax. The host stays in a camper on-site, which was a bit unique, but they were respectful of our space and not intrusive at all. Overall, a peaceful, homely place with lots of character—great for a quiet countryside getaway.

Amazing getaway for baseball families wanting to relax after a long day at the Dreams Park fields. Host was very responsive and attentive to anything we needed, along with recommendations for things to do while we had down time with baseball.

The cabin was lovely with some amazing amenities such as having many ways to prepare coffee including a great espresso machine and the pizza oven which was a blast to use. The hot tub was terrific and looking into the woods all day was wonderful. Had a great weekend with some very old friends. Would definitely recommend if you’re looking for a peaceful and cozy place to get away and be with friends or loved ones.

We got so lucky to have found this beautiful spot. We had only a few days and lots of activities planned but coming back to relax at the house at night was perfect. The space is just gorgeous and Paula has added the perfect little touches down to every last detail. It was nice to stay somewhere so peaceful but also so close to Lake George. Paula met us on arrival, was super friendly and showed us around. Communication was excellent and she gave tons of recommendations and was so hospitable. She even was able to accommodate us extending an extra night. You can tell she takes great pride and care in her rentals. Would definitely rent again!

The home and access to the lake were perfect. We were there on a rainy chilly weekend but still managed to eat some soggy meals outside and kids swam. A suggestion could be for an umbrella over the table-if it was strong sun or rain (as in our case) the guests can still take advantage of the outdoors and enjoy meals outside. The home was beautiful and clean. Had a great time!

Lovely and peaceful cabin for a weekend out of the city. Really enjoyed the downstairs space and amenities like the hot tub and grill. We appreciated the hosts' responsiveness - they were glad to assist us with returning a forgotten item!

We had a terrific stay at Anna’s. There were so many thoughtful touches and it was a very relaxing stay. Highly recommend to anyone that enjoys animals and great scenery.

The home is exactly as seen in the pictures, it was spotless, cozy, and welcoming. Everything we could have possibly needed was thoughtfully provided. Little touches—like treats and water—made us feel so special. Our host was absolutely wonderful—responsive, kind, and genuinely invested in making our stay comfortable. It felt less like a transaction and more like being welcomed by a friend. They gave us great recommendations for nearby cafes, hidden gems, and things we might have missed otherwise written in their binder. The binder also information on the history of the area and their journey which was a nice touch. This is a great writers retreat!

My family traveled to the Catskills for a family wedding. La Grange was the perfect spot for us. It was close to the wedding venue but allowed us time to spend together as a family away from the wedding festivities. The restored barn is such a unique experience - eclectic with French and farmhouse accents. It was very spacious and comfortable. It’s a lovely property and we spent every evening out by the firepit enjoying the peace and quiet. Our 2 dogs loved the outdoors. We don’t have small children but for those who do, there’s a huge playscape and lots of boardgames. Matt was a great host, very responsive and gave great recos. Would highly recommend La Grange for the perfect getaway.

We really enjoyed our stay at Todd’s place! It has a rustic feel and offered everything that is promised in the listing. Todd was super friendly and went above and beyond to make sure we were satisfied with our experience and was quick to respond to any calls or texts. I would highly recommend this place to anyone considering a visit to the lake Oneida area.

Great place with beautiful surroundings! Very close to the lake and town (which had some very good restaurants). The house was perfect for us and the bed was very, very comfortable! Location was also within an hour of some great places in the Adirondacks. Host was very responsive to any issues/questions we had, and while they are close, they left us to do our own thing. Would definitely stay again if I have the chance!

The Orchard was the perfect retreat for our family including 2 babies and a dog. Wonderfully scenic. We were in NY for a Syracuse University event which was 22 min by car and not far from the highway - one night we were able to find an uber without much difficulty. The kitchen was stocked with Kurig Pods (at least 20?) w/ sugar and complementary Beak and Skiff Cider. Bathrooms had soap, shampoo and cream rinse. Eddie was very communicative and checked in to make sure all was well. Grocery stores are not local (bring what you think you might need - there was a restaurant close by at golf course with fried bar menu - 1911 tasting room is local , but check the hours / days ( they closed at 7 pm ) Dining out will be a bit of a drive - minimum 15 minutes . All in all , it was a wonderful stay. Thank you !!
