Bed and breakfast holiday rentals in Mohawk Valley

This location has become a regular stay for when we are in town. Chris and his wife do a wonderful hosting guests and making everyone feel welcomed. We can't wait until our next trip to stay here again.

Meredith, the manager, was spectacular. She was a warm and welcoming host who took the time to make us feel at home with breakfast and good conversation. I recommend the Inn to every person passing through Blue Mountain Lake. You will not be disappointed!

Christine was such a gracious host and her home was absolutely stunning. Room was just as described and so clean. She made sure we had everything we needed and was all set up and ready before we arrived. It was such a pleasure staying in her gorgeous home. Hoping to make another trip back in the summer!!

The Blue Mountain Inn is in an excellent location and the inn keeper is really a delight, helping with local tips and genuinely liking her role and having conversations with guests. The inn is right in Blue Mountain Lake; if you are looking to do hikes and be in this area, it is one of the few opportunities you have. Close to Sawyer, Blue Mountain, the museum, Long Lake and Hoss' country store, etc. The inn advertises itself accurately. It is an old inn, with its charm, and also it shows wear. I would describe it as quirky and historic, nothing fancy. It is comfortable and the inn keeper is great, and responsive. Breakfast is filling with yogurt, pancakes, bacon, and a homemade quiche each day. Read the description and see the photos. If you are looking for something fancy this is not it; if you are looking for a comfortable place to stay this is it. It's like visiting your relatives in an old farm house. You don't expect it to be perfect and find the charm. I will definitely come back here. The side porch, by the way, is amazing, especially at night as they lit it up. They even put a heater there for people like me who want to be outside at night and enjoy the surroundings and read a book.

Debbie was amazing! She was so kind and so sweet! She cooked us an amazing breakfast in the morning and made sure our rooms were clean and comfortable! We’ll definitely stay here again!

Sharon’s place is in a picturesque setting with incredible mountain views. Great communication and warm hospitality. Cozy and comfy bedroom with everything you need. Location was the perfect home base to explore Cooperstown and surrounding areas. Her breakfast was a treat and we would definitely stay again !

Awesome stay! The location was perfect for the Boilermaker 15K- within walking distance of starting line or shuttle pickup, and the finish line/FX Matt brewery. Rita and the team made us feel welcome and comfortable. The room was perfect - clean, spacious, quiet with comfy bed (especially for a post-race nap!). And wow, breakfast—-Rita’s muffins are amazing and she was kind enough to accommodate an early breakfast before we grabbed the shuttle to the starting line. Check in and out we’re east and there’s plenty of off-street parking. I wish we were able to stay a little longer to take full advantage of the breakfasts, specialty teas and massage treatments also offered here. Would highly recommend to anyone coming to visit the area and looking for a more comfortable and unique stay in a beautiful house with friendly hosts and the best breakfast around!

Loved our stay at Sharon’s place in Pratts Hollow! Sharon was super friendly and welcoming and cooked us an amazing made to order breakfast every morning. Super comfortable beds in a beautiful home in a beautiful location. Would love to return!

Spent a few nights while in town visiting the National Baseball HOF. Clean and spacious room. Great location in proximity to downtown and restaurants. Patty and Tom were great hosts. Friendly, responsive and provided spot on recommendations. Breakfasts were wonderful. I'll definitely be back.

I had a last minute change in my itinerary that Kelly was very understanding about. I will stay here if I'm ever in the area.

This spot was perfect. As soon as we walked in my mouth dropped. It was perfect! The floors, the decor, the claw foot tub, the COMFY bed and COMFY pillows. So happy that we decided to stay here. We will definitely be back! We came to Saratoga Springs for a concert at SPAC. We were 15 minutes away. Just a mere 10-15 minutes to so many great restaurants in town. We enjoyed this beautiful bed and breakfast to the fullest. The gardens were gorgeous around the property. The pool was great- even had plenty of lounge chairs to sun bathe in! And then Glen- amazing host. He answered questions immediately! Breakfast was delicious both morning! Definitely need to book here!

This place is spectacular! Extremely clean and inviting with lots of character. We absolutely loved our stay and can’t wait to visit again. John was a wonderful host. The beautiful garden and patio area offer fabulous views of the serene valley.

We had a short stay- only one night, but were so impressed with our stay. The house is beautifully restored and so charming. We stayed in the Mustard room and it was comfortable, spacious and had everything we need. The coffee and light breakfast in the morning was such a nice touch. Rhonda was a warm and welcoming host. Couldn’t ask for a better overall experience.

Perfect weekend getaway. The breakfast was amazing and each room is very unique, beautiful Victorian style and history. Our room Northeastern Exposure was large and clean with high ceilings and space. The Inn is right next to a pretty small lake and 15-20 min drive to Lake George. There are other lakes in the area to explore as well such as Sacandaga lake which we loved. A lot of great hiking spots within 30 minutes - hour drive. I did not get to try the Inn wine bar but saw a few people enjoying wine on the patio. I would recommend for any couple looking to relax and get away from city life.

I would describe this stay as a well-kept farmhouse situated in beautiful mountains in a small, quiet town. It was very peaceful on the porch with the occasional car or Amish buggy. Nancy and Mark were very nice and welcoming, it felt like we were home and had known them before. I wish we could have gotten to know them more. My family was offered any amenity they had available at the home. Our little girl enjoyed the toy room and playground, as well as their pups. Every morning we had coffee ready to brew and breakfast ready to be made at our convenience. Even though we were busy while we stayed there with a baseball tournament, it was a perfect relaxing setting when we had the opportunity to be there. We would go back to Nacy's place without question.

Marikate and her husband were fantastic hosts - we felt welcome and taken care of the moment we arrived. The accommodations are as described…the environment is tranquil and relaxed. The house is very close to Saratoga Springs’ main drag where there are lots of restaurants and shopping to explore. Strongly recommend!

If you are looking for a genuine bed and breakfast experience, this country home in rural New York is your spot. Nancy, your host, will greet you at the door and make you feel at home. Every morning she will prepare a fabulous breakfast for you and all of her guests. You will dine together amid interesting conversation. Her beautiful home is comfortable, and the community areas are perfect to relax and visit. If you want some privacy, the guest rooms are quiet and luxurious, and there is a bathroom for each guest room. If you want to take a nice walk, the pastoral setting for Nancy's home is perfect; with mature gardens and open fields and woods to explore. And a word about her two welcoming dogs. They are well behaved and wonderful hosts as well. We have never stayed in a genuine bed and breakfast before, and were hesitant. But we loved staying here, and will definitely stay again.

We came to town for a friend's birthday party and were recommended to stay at Catalpa House. Ellen was very communicative when our flight was delayed. Upon our arrival, we were shown to an excellent room with a very comfortable bed, pillows, linens, and a well-appointed bathroom. The historic house has beautifully decorated rooms and fresh flowers, well-placed. If you appreciate attention to detail in design, gracious hosts, and gourmet breakfasts, then Catalpa House should be on your list.

My husband and I had a wonderful stay. Ellen was so welcoming and everything from the warm welcome, charming interior of the house, the comfy beds, fabulous breakfast and all of Ellen’s suggestions for locale restaurants and sites to visit made our stay a simple delight!!! We were in the area for a family wedding and could not have asked for a better host during our weekend stay at Catalpa House. This is a must if you are looking for a place to stay in the area.

Nancy, her family, and her place were lovely. We had a great stay and enjoyed meeting everyone. We felt very welcome and at home. It’s a beautiful space with a great play set and outdoor space for kids. Nice dogs too. We’d definitely come back if in the area again.
