Holiday rentals with a fire pit in Missouri River

This is the absolute perfect place if you want to escape for a little while. You are perched on a beautiful mountain looking at more beautiful mountains. The house was amazing and clean and cozy. I loved every detail of the decor. It feels like an upscale, cozy, comfy, mountain house. It was exactly what we were looking for. The hot tub was amazing. The fire pit was awesome and easy to use. The grille was clean. The road leading up to the house is a lot of fun to drive. The downtown area is amazing. We will def be coming back. It’s the best parents getaway we could have asked for.

Wow! This has been by far the most beautiful and enriching family vacation we have experienced. The Living Room had breath taking views of the mountains, surrounding farms and wildlife that could be seen from inside the home and from the lovely patio. Whether waking with a Nespresso coffee or tea in hand on the patio, eating meals or playing cards at the dinner table or enjoying a glass of wine in the hot tub the experience was amazing. The word WOW is the best way for us to describe our stay. Mark and Renee were wonderful and attentive hosts. They are very organized and had books that helped us find fun things to do. The home was very clean and spacious. We were able to cook many meals at the Airbnb and had many options for dinning out if desired. We are so grateful to have the luxury of enjoying such a wonderful experience and plan to come visit again in the coming years.

Our stay was absolutely perfect from start to finish. The house was spotless, beautifully organized, and felt so welcoming. The kitchen was fully stocked with everything we could possibly need, which made cooking and relaxing so easy. Both hosts were incredibly kind, responsive, and helpful throughout our visit—they made us feel right at home. We had zero issues during our stay—just pure peace and relaxation the entire time. One of our favorite parts was spending time with the animals on the property. They were all so sweet and friendly, especially the adorable calico cat Arlo, who completely stole our hearts. This place is a hidden gem, and we’re already dreaming about coming back!

3rd time staying here. If you are looking to just decompress and relax, this is definitely the place. Just amazing views from every room as well as all the decks! We cooked most our meals at the house (very well stocked kitchen supplies, spices, etc.) but it is a quick drive down to the valley to get to restaurants if you want. Also, many great places to hike around the area. Daniel is also very responsive if you have any questions. Will be back for a 4th time next year!

We only stayed for one night during our cross country road trip. Loved the property and took several walks around the wildflower meadow with our dogs and one of the farm cats. So peaceful and beautiful! House was well stocked with everything we need and more. Bonus was the friendly farm cats ❤️.

My friends and I had a fabulous time and stay there, we love the atmosphere and the view to the backyard is absolutely incredible. If you have any questions, JOHN answers very quickly. His accommodation was excellent!

Loved our 3 day stay at Nat’s place. Beautiful design, peaceful setting, comfortable bedding, well appointed kitchen and lots of added touches. It felt like we were at a resort with no other people. Loved waking up to the mountain view and having coffee around the fire pit. Definitely off the beaten path, but close enough to town if you want or need to drive in. We found we didn’t want to leave except for a few hikes close by. We did not need a 4x4 but it may have been nice to have… it is a windy dirt road up the mountain. We would love to return.

Very nice home in a quiet neighborhood. I was on a work trip so I wasn't at the home much but the time I was there felt right at home. The theater is great ans works well, could use an extra set of speakers but really not a big deal. the hot tub was well kept and nice and the string lights made it very peaceful. The bed was comfortable and clean. The heated bathroom floor was awesome and the rest of the bathroom was clean. All in all a nice place and nice hosts. I liked not having a list of things to do at check out. Thank you.

Our stay at Loon Lake was wonderful! Janie was fantastic to deal with - very friendly and welcoming. Communication was great from the moment we booked. She shared helpful tips for us to prepare for our visit and made check-in a breeze. The property is beautiful and convenient to Hayward. The beds were very comfortable and the sound of the train only added to the charm. We would absolutely stay at Loon Lake again and plan to do so in the future. Thank you, Janie, for an excellent stay!

My father and I had an incredible stay here! Tamara was very kind and so were the home hosts. A big plus to see all the sweet dogs they were taking care of while we were there. We would recommend this place to anyone!

This was such a nice place. Very pretty. The snacks and breakfast items were a perfect extra touch!

Cynthia was so kind and thoughtful. Her husband and dog Lupa were also so friendly, I wish I could stay forever! The cabin was spotted with meaningful little touches that made us feel so taken care of. Beautiful view, took my breath away. Downtown Boulder is a short drive (10 minutes) but you really feel immersed in nature despite the close location! FYI driving was slightly daunting at night coming home from dinner, but that’s coming from a city dweller who’s not used to back roads! Lol. 10/10 Airbnb!

Great people, Great place, sweetheart of a dog. Was described perfectly! Anything you could ever want and or need they were guaranteed to have it! We had a lot of fun with a beautiful lake view and dock the water was too cold for us to get in but that's okay the view was 100% worth it ! THANK you so much for letting us be guests at this wonderful priced place hope to be back again soon and can stay again !

Great space. Plenty of room for our family of 4. The house was clean and stocked with everything we needed.

My wife and I had such a great time celebrating her birthday in Colorado. We stayed at this cabin that was warm, welcoming, and had just the right touch of rustic charm. One of the best parts of the trip was exploring Garden of the Gods… the views were stunning, and the scenery was something we’ll always remember. Between the quiet cabin and the beauty all around us, it was the kind of trip that really sticks with you. We’d go back in a heartbeat.

We had high expectations based on the listing and reviews and they were met. The cabin was charming, well appointed, and clean. Great care package set up when you arrive. Hot tub, grill, fireplace all worked and the instructions were appreciated. A rare wind storm came through during our stay knocking out power to the area for part of the day but the well stocked games along with the fireplace to take the chill out of the cabin made us not mind at all.

We were needing a quiet, peaceful break and this little cabin provided exactly that. We came with groceries so we wouldn’t have to break up our retreat with a trip to the grocer. The cabin is right near the river and provided a cool breeze making it comfortable to sit on the porch and read, embroider, chat, watch the wildlife and snooze. We brought our binoculars anticipating an opportunity to view wildlife and were not disappointed. We saw eagles, a large variety of smaller birds, deer, and a little animal we think may have been a muskrat. 😊 Our third day it rained and stormed. We learned that thunder sounds like cannons when you’re near a river. We loved this very peaceful place and our hostess was very responsive. When we did drive into town later we found it to be very quaint. We ate at a little cafe called Great Day for breakfast as we were leaving and it was excellent!

If you are thinking about renting this cabin go for it! It is beautiful and private. The perfect weekend getaway. The pictures are nice but they can’t do this amazing place justice. 5 out of 5

We can't rave enough about our stay at Joel's place!!! It's so beautiful and peaceful. Felt so relaxed the moment we arrived. A nice soak in the jacuzzi at sunset was the topper for me. I also slept better at Joels than I had in the last 10 days of our vacation. I wish we could have spent more time enjoying the beautiful space here. We will 100% be back! Joel's communication is on point. Thanks again for a great stay 💚
