You’ll be surrounded by nature and wildlife, sheltered by the canvas ‘yurt’ and sleeping in a comfortable king bed. There is a small solar power system in the yurt and shared porta-potty (~100 yards from yurt). Guests provide necessary water for their stay.

Private trails for hiking, biking, xc ski or snowshoe on our Elk Run Trail. 4wd preferred travel in winter. Parking is at the cabin or for low clearance vehicles 200 feet below. Wood burning stove for heat. Blackstone grill & French Press provided. Solar lights. Water is supplied. Compost potty.

A yurt-cabin is an all season, insulated hard panel style “yurt-cabin”, that is heated with a wood stove. The yurt is off-grid powered by solar, a composting toilet and outdoor heated shower. Relax, unwind and disconnect while you are “cozy camping” , next to the Popo Agie River on a shared 3-1/2 acres. We are frequented by an abundance of wildlife and you will be welcomed by our two friendly llamas (Trip and Journey), two sheep, ducks and chickens.
