Twisting Twig Gardens and Orchard Yurt

HeidiRating, 5 stars3 months ago
Had an amazing experience at Twisted Twig Yurt! We stayed in February and the snowy location and quiet surroundings were perfect. We stayed warm with the wood stove and wood provided. Clean and had everything we needed and lots of small touches that showed forethought about our experience. Easy drive into Bayfield, shopping and great lunch at Many Penny. Experienced the Chequamegon Bay ice caves and Mt Ashwabay cross country skiing what a great experience with our cozy home base at the Yurt.

Here We Have Idaho Yurt; slps 4 w great kitchen

BryanRating, 5 stars36 months ago
Our family had a fantastic time glamping on this camping site! Even though our tent was close to the other campers, we had good privacy and even our own fire pit to do smores! And there were so many fun activities around for our boys (paddle boat, small playground, feeding the bunnies, etc). We highly recommend it for young families!

The Redtail Yurt

RussellRating, 5 stars1 month ago
Susan was a great host! She responded quickly to my questions and was more than accommodating with my plans to stay in a yurt. This is the second time in my life. She greeted us when we arrived and gave an explanation about the property…. Including the history. I love that stuff. There is a barn that has WiFi and some other amenities. It’s not a long walk. The yurt is pretty much like staying in a very large tent, but nicer. It was a quick trip. I wish we could have stayed longer. I would love to go back with my family when we can. Thanks, Susan!

Dreamy Yurt “1 of 23 Best Glamping Spots in U.S”

AimeeRating, 5 stars9 months ago
The Yurt was so much fun. It is camping, or glamping I should say, so keep that in mind. But it did have everything we needed. It was a little cold at night, but Pam got us extra heating blankets to help. Pam was very responsive to our needs and she went out of our way to make sure we were comfortable and happy, which I really appreciated. The bathroom was shared with one other Yurt and the water was warm (not hot) but, remember, you are GLAMPING so that should be expected. The microwave and the wifi are in the "barn," which is a short walk away. I have AT&T and had no service in the Yurt. We loved our time there and will definitely consider coming back again. It is in such an amazing location and you do get away from all the crazy of city life.

Bed & Breakfast Oasis with Private Entrance & Bath

KritiRating, 5 stars5 months ago
Courtney and Danny are wonderful hosts. We absolutely loved staying at their place and highly recommend it to anyone visiting Moab. Courtney was incredibly helpful, offering a wealth of tips about Arches and Canyonlands National Parks, as well as excellent local restaurant recommendations. When our plans shifted due to the weather in Moab, the hosts were very gracious, allowing us to check in a bit earlier than the scheduled time so we could settle in before heading out to the parks. Courtney is also a fantastic baker, and the delicious breakfast each morning was a great added bonus to our stay. We hope to return to Moab and will definitely choose this place again without hesitation.

We stayed for one night because we were in town for a wedding and our daughter really wanted to see the starts before we left and this place was perfect for the dark sky. Highly recommend to stay here if you want to be able to see the dark skies.

Mountainside Yurt w/ Views < 3 Mi to Black Canyon!

BrettRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
The only negative i have is the hot tub guy came while we were there and drained and refilled the tub which was a little akward and we weren't prepared for anyone coming to the site. Other than that it was a great location, great view, everything was very clean. Would highly recommend for a stay. Montrose was a very cool town with lots of shops and eateries. The store at the base of the black canyon was a must see also. Loved the area and plan to go back.

Roam Ranch Yurt Glamping

KelseyRating, 5 stars5 days ago
We loved staying here! Milburn has a special place in our hearts and we will be back. The place has a grill, cornhole, and tons of beautiful wild life. Our stay was perfect and the host was awesome. I’m hesitant to leave a perfect review so the place stays free for us to come back! But we loved it.

20' Yurt

JulieRating, 5 stars3 days ago
We stayed at Secret Creek for a night prior to heading into Black Canyon of the Gunnison NP. Hotels in Montrose were very pricey, so this was a unique way to try something new and save some money on lodging. Everything was exactly as described. I didn’t expect to have coffee plus cold creamer and water in a mini fridge while staying in a yurt, so these were appreciated surprises. The bathroom is on the property but not private, but they provide a bag with all the supplies needed such as extra TP and disinfecting wipes as well as bug spray in case you need it. The bed was very comfortable and everything was very clean. You can hear the sounds of nature such as the gentle sounds of the nearby river and birds singing, but it was not as busy nor loud with conversation like typical campgrounds. There were only a couple other people staying on the grounds and we didn’t hear them at all. There are a few restaurants within walking distance that the host recommended.

Yurt-cabin at Grass River Retreat.

JaydeRating, 5 stars4 days ago
This comfy yurt-cabin is not far from town and was easy to find with the instructions. I was greeted by a farm dog and sleepy llamas and sheep upon my arrival. I fell asleep looking at the stars and listening to the river. I woke up and made fresh pour over, graciously provided for me, and hung out with the chickens and an outspoken rooster while I bird watched. 10/10 recommend to anyone looking for a little retreat. Though there’s no “electricity or running water,” you really wouldn’t be able to tell given the handy set toilet, shower, and yeti power set up. No complaints!

Amazing location and views. Thoughtfully decorated without clutter - we loved the linens, appliances and even the dishware. Just as advertized and what we expected. Responsive hosts - and the help videos with QR codes were very easy.

Eagle Yurt at Wilderness Wind

RonRating, 5 stars8 months ago
The eagle yurt was exactly as it looked. It is a great place to have family together in a rustic yet comfortable environment. Each night and every morning we enjoyed a relaxing fire by sunset and sunrise. Wildlife was abundant with beavers by day and the sound of coyotes and owls at night. Other guests were kind, helpful, and generous, while the property manager Jay was approachable, informative, and gave great tips and pointers on local attractions. It is rustic, with pit bathrooms away from the yurt. We didn’t mind this at all but others might. We can’t wait to stay again.

Yurt Next to Clarks Fork of Yellowstone River

KatieRating, 5 starstoday
Such a cool, unique place! Comfortable beds, well appointed kitchen, non-smelly incinerator toilet, and gorgeous setting! We loved everything about our stay, felt like being in a remote area but with all of the amenities we like. Nan and Brian are awesome and very friendly/helpful! Mosquitos were bad outside, but lots of bug spray, inside bug stuff, etc. didn’t notice them at all inside the yurt which was excellent! Hope to come back through someday!

Country life in amazing Little Yurt on hobby farm

KatieRating, 5 stars3 days ago
I’ll be honest and say that I did not feel very comfortable when we first pulled in. It’s a residence with two yurts, a tent, and some animals. I wasn’t sure what to think, especially traveling by myself with my two daughters … but we decided to give it a chance. Then, we met the owner, Boyd, and his dogs, Indy and Sassy, and we immediately felt right at home and very comfortable. He showed us how all of the amenities worked and gave us his number if we needed anything. We slept so good and felt very rested the next morning. We walked the entire property, met Weir (short for “Weird”) the boar goat, and fell in love! We didn’t want to leave and told ourselves that we will definitely be back next year. We are so glad we gave this adorable place a chance! After 10 hours of driving it was a welcomed opportunity to relax & enjoy the country life of Colorado.

Lava Hot Springs Themed Yurt! Now with AC!

AshleyRating, 5 starstoday
This was such a fun and unique experience! We loved staying at the Thailand yurt and it made our trip unique and memorable. We have a big family so having all of us able to stay in one space was a so nice! The yurt was clean, cooled off well, beautifully decorated, and set in a beautiful place. It’s close enough to town to get in and out easily. I wish it wasn’t so expensive for a single night stay, but it was worth the splurge for us to have the experience. We have considered going back and renting all the yurts for a family reunion. Having your own space but being close makes it so fun. We had friends in another yurt. The fire pit made the night fun too, but there were lots of mosquitos outside. Fortunately we didn’t have any issues with bugs inside. Beds were comfortable and linens clean. The trains are loud, but didn’t bother us too much. And my kids actually loved watching them. Overall such a great experience!

River Walk Yurt/sumptuous, hot tub, fast internet

KelsyRating, 5 stars1 month ago
George’s place was a wonderful haven, 10/10! Beautiful location and property right on river with mature trees and great views, so close to Big B’s, great restaurants, wineries and brewery. We felt instantly at home, yurt was cozy, comfortable and relaxing. The dogs had a secure area to play and relax. Hot tub was perfect. The place was clean, had all amenities, great place to stay for visiting Paonia or any of nearby towns and attractions. George was so helpful, kind, and attentive. We had a wonderful visit and would definitely go back.
