Beachfront holiday rental in Mimizan Plage

We felt right at home. Everything was very clean and tidy. Completely equipped, we didn't need anything. The area is very quiet and well connected. The place is very cozy. For two or even three people it's perfect. There are two free parkings with several squares next to the house. The beach is a couple minutes walk away. Stéphane has been very friendly from the first moment. Even if we didn't speak the same language, we understood each other well. He is very friendly and attentive. He left us a welcome touch, which is highly valued. If we come back to the area in the future, we're clear on where to stay.

We had a pleasant stay. The house is very well located, access to the beach is a 5 min walk. The house was extremely clean and we did not lack anything.

It was only for one night, we needed flexible schedules and it was perfect.

We stayed at Valerie's for 2 months (mid-Jan to mid-March). It was perfect for our needs and very comfortable. Our favorite feature was the nature preserve right behind the condo. Twice a day, every day, our dogs enjoyed a 2 mile loop, off leash, on a dirt road and path, along the beach and through the berry brambles. Doggie heaven. Within a quarter mile walk are a patisserie, several restaurants and the train station. The market (which is daily, even in winter), town center, and everything you could need are within a mile. Arcachon and several supermarkets are a short drive away. Valerie was so helpful! She even upgraded the wifi when it was too slow for Zoom to work well! A life saver! The kitchen has everything you need (both a Nescafe and a drip coffee maker), the shower is roomy, and the washer and dryer work very well. We highly recommend la cabane du littoral!

The charming Kalymnos home was perfect, warm and welcoming. I got the sense the house has been in the family for several generations where much fun was had. The king sized bed was so comfortable I wanted to take it home with me! We felt very at home cooking and eating in the dining room that opens to a beautiful garden with a pool under the deck. It was too chilly for us to swim, but we enjoyed looking at the pool. We used the available bikes to ride a trail next to the Arcachon Bay and visited the Antique Market which was full of cool antiques. In the evenings we enjoyed the short walk from the house to the bay to watch the sunsets. We wanted to experience a community near the Arcachon Bay where French locals live and play. Isabelle’s home gave us that experience. Merci!

Very well designed house and ideally placed for a family stay by the sea. The agency was at all times very responsive by customizing its service.

We had a wonderful time in Stéphanie's cottage. The place is great, everything you need is available. We have not seen the beach and the sunsets so beautifully in Europe. The communication and hospitality could not be better We fell in love and will definitely be back :)

Very friendly and very responsive host, she will advise you on activities, restaurants or other things. The house lives up to the listing, everything is of quality, from the bedding to the cutlery to the bathrooms. Really very satisfied with the stay in this quiet and relaxing place. I would highly recommend it.

Very beautiful house in beautiful neighborhood. Very nice pool and terraces. A week of rest in an ideal environment close to the basin and the ocean. we will be back!

This is a fantastic house which is beautifully designed, comfortable and well equipped. It’s spacious with lots of places to sit and hang out. The pool is large and clean. The house is in a traditional oyster port in front of a canal. We found it fascinating to observe the farmers and learned a lot when buying fresh oysters from them. It’s a pleasant 50 minute walk to Arcachon which we did several times. There is also a train that takes 4 minutes. We loved our stay and hope to come back again. Would strongly recommend staying here.

We loved this quiet and very private property. It was the perfect location - 5 minute walk to Horizon beach, 10 minutes to a well-stocked Auchon grocery store, 10-15 minutes to the daily marché and loads of restaurants and shops. Marie was a responsive, friendly and responsible host. Several light bulbs died while we were there- in a bathroom and two bedrooms- which was a bit odd but not overly problematic, and they were out to replace them within minutes. One thing that didn’t quite fit the description was that it’s not what I consider central air conditioning. There are two large wall units in the living and kitchen area, and 1 in the upstairs bedroom that cool down those spaces incredibly well. The 4 downstairs bedrooms do not have units and it got warm back there on the hottest nights. We slept with doors open to get what we could out of the AC which wasn’t ideal. It’s not a deal breaker for us, but could be improved with fans. Still, overall, an excellent stay!

We had a pleasant stay with the family in Moliets. The apartment is well located in the Pierre et Vacances residence, close to the main pool and reception where we were able to do a few games of foosball and billiards. It is well equipped and the supply of bed and bath linen was appreciated. The terrace of the accommodation offers a pleasant view and almost no vis-à-vis. The place is peaceful and quiet. The kids also took advantage of the City to play basketball. Access to the cork oak beach is quickly by car. Annick provided us with all the information of access to the accommodation 1 week before our arrival and was attentive to our requests. We would recommend this listing for your vacation.

Great place, the house is in a very peaceful and well maintained area, under the pine trees between birds and the sea, ideal for disconnection with children. The house is very nice, bright and well-equipped and the host is available. Everything was perfect.

Penelope presents a fully equipped apartment with a beautiful terrace on the edge of the Bassin d 'Arcachon in a peaceful village with bike paths and walking trails, shops and many activities nearby. Penelope is also available for any questions. Its paradise is an oasis of beauty and tranquility!

Wonderful spot to stay in Arcachon! We were close to the beach but also close to the city centre where there were lots of restaurants and activities to do. I would highly recommend this place to anyone looking to stay in the area!

House nestled in a very nice corner of greenery. Clean, very nicely decorated. Functional, equipped. A stone's throw from the beach and quiet . A very beautiful living room. Impeccable bedding and sanitary facilities. François is helpful and patient, even with space questions🤣. Too short stay! Thank you for everything!

Family trip out of season. The accommodation is very well arranged and bright. The skatepark and the little games right next door filled the kids. Still a little far from the beach to go with a stroller (excluding jogging), we got closer by car, no problem in low season 🙂

Very nice house, especially if the weather allows you to stay outside. The outdoor area is much nicer than expected. The sofas are very comfortable and can accommodate quite a few people. Location is great, and both beaches are within walking distance. So is the market. We had a great stay. I just thought that beds were a wee small, and soft. I also got a little annoyed when I found out that sheets and towels were not included.

The villa is in a good location. Quiet. It is spacious, very well decorated and equipped. Parking is a plus. The bathrooms are large. The city center and beach are very close. The owners are very nice and responsive.
