Kid-friendly holiday rentals in Milwaukee

Jean‘s House is charming—it was very clean and comfortable. Woodwork was beautiful and so many of the original features of the home have been kept in excellent condition or renovated to make it a great mixture of a vintage aesthetic with the modern comforts. You cannot do without a car if staying here. But if you have a car it’s a convenient base for doing things in Milwaukee. Great list of recommendations (At Random is a great little cocktail venue).

Had a wonderful and comfortable stay! Extremely great value for the space and amenities. Lots of places to walk to nearby (lovely park and restaurant options) while also being a close distance from downtown Milwaukee. Patrick is responsive and attentive. Would absolutely come again!

Tc’s house was a perfect place for us to stay while visiting family in Wauwatosa. The location was great, close to everything. The house was very clean and exactly as described. We will definitely stay there again in the future.

Nice property with off street parking, close to everything you want to do in Milwaukee. *Almost* walking distance to watch a Brewers game (2.5 miles). Great grocery stores and restaurants nearby - some within walking distance. Check in earlier than most properties - and check out instructions were easy and reasonable. The hosts communicate well and any questions or concerns I had were answered promptly. Tosa is a quiet, safe, family suburb. This is a good option if your plans bring you to Milwaukee.

THANK YOU to Nina and co. For allowing my dogs and I to rent your BEAUTIFUL house! This house is in an amazing location, close to everything, and it is clean, comfortable, and cozy! I slept great every single night. The kitchen is spacious, and if you like to cook, all kitchen necessities are provided. Or if you prefer to order in food, sky is the limit! I was able to DoorDash whatever I wanted at any time of day or night. The backyard is absolute my favorite—Fenced in and secure for the dogs, but also very private. Nina and her co-hosts, Christoper & Rebecca, are TOP NOTCH! Before arrival, they explained how parking on the street worked, and were lightning fast answering all of my questions. When I **stupidly** locked myself out of the house, I was able to contact Airbnb customer service, who then relayed my situation to my hosts who were able to unlock the door for me remotely, and very quickly. Thank you again so much! I highly recommend, and would stay here again!

This was a great place to stay! Such a beautiful living space, big beds, and very homey. Definitely recommend, and our host was so kind and helpful.

Very cute, private, simple & comfy!! Eric’s a great host! He always responded quickly, helped us navigate our first trip to Milwaukee& Summerfest! Really comfy bed, great shower-head, kitchens very simple, no sink but was great for a very small amount of time! Just needed a bed & shower!! Well worth the money!

What a lovely apartment! We're so glad we chose to stay at John and Jamie's place. It was spacious, clean, and beautifully-decorated. The kitchen was huge and had everything we needed, including coffee and half & half. The neighborhood is quiet and peaceful, and within walking distance of the riverwalk and Lakefront Brewery. We're sad we only got to stay one night. We would definitely stay here again next time we're in Milwaukee. Thanks, John & Jaime!

Great location perfect area for being in the heart if the 3rd ward near lots of attractions

This is an absolutely perfect stay! We came to town to visit the Harley Museum and it was literally a stone’s throw away; it took us longer to get ready and on the bike than it did to get to the museum! The apartment was beautiful and had great amenities for tired travelers. And all the neighbor puppies are adorable! 10/10 would stay again!!!

Cam & Sarah were super responsive. They answered all inquiries quickly. They were kind enough to lend me a yoga mat and to help me carry my suitcase upstairs when I arrived. Access instructions were easy and clear, as were checkout instructions. This property was in a great location for me as my son lives a ten-minute walk away. It's near a bunch a coffee shops and restaurants. There's a small grocery store nearby. A gift certificate for $10 off the restaurant downstairs was a nice touch. A couple of things to be aware of are: 1). The steep, long staircase could be problematic for some; 2). There was a strong smell in the apartment (maybe cleaning fluid) that bothered me. It didn't go away by opening the windows. But on the other hand my son and my daughter-in-law could not smell it, though my other son could. Overall: great location and responsive hosts.

Ryan's place was good and very close to the city, beaches and cafes. Only issue we ran into was kitchen power went out while cooking dinner. When we reached out. Ryan was quick enough to help us with the instructions to bring power back up. Overall, good place to stay which was within our budget.

Great dog-friendly Airbnb with free parking. Easy walk to the downtown areas and a very nice park. Only downside was the location can feel a bit dodgy later at night if you decide to walk back. Otherwise, we loved our stay and we loved Milwaukee.

Super cozy and convenient. We needed an overnight option after moving from our Greenfield home and coming back to visit. More value than a hotel, easy to find and great location across from State Fair Park. Beds were cozy and linens were soft. We will be back!

Loved our stay here - host was helpful with clear instructions. Location is great - right next to an awesome donut shop and a 10 minute drive from everything else! Check-in and check-out was a breeze and the bed was very comfortable. Would love to stay here again.

It was a fantastic place. Russell & Dina were very responsive and easy to communicate with.

Our group of 10 girlfriends (55ish) spent a weekend experiencing the local bars and restaurants along with some shopping and the Pabst Best tour. The location was perfect walking distance for all of our activities. Nikki was extremely helpful in assisting us with some special requests FYI We preferred the little bakery/coffee shop right next door for paninis and the best chocolate brownie I’ve ever had! One thing to note , the area transforms a little bit after 11pm, but we felt safe with all of the police presence. We would stay again

Once we landed in Milwaukee, we texted Jodi to let her know when we expected to arrive at her place. She quickly responded that she had some errands but provided the entry code and made us feel welcome. We got settled in and then she reached out via text to let us know she had returned. She came up to meet us in person and helped us understand the city requirements for parking on the street. She had already provided the URL to the registration site and just made sure we were comfortable with what needed to be done. She later informed me that I'd parked on the wrong side of the street so that I could move the vehicle so that it didn't get a ticket. I appreciated that. We were out and about most of the time we were there. The notes that she had placed throughout were very helpful. The booklet that she printed was very clear and her expectations were reasonable and easy to meet. It's an older home, but very quaint and pretty cool.

We rented this entire house, both upper and lower units (separate listings) for our wedding across the street at South Shore Pavilion. This rental was outstanding and created a beautiful and stress free home-base for our wedding guests and weekend. The bridal party was able to get ready here before the ceremony and guests from out of town had clean private bedrooms to stay in. Awesome eclectic vibe and plenty of places to relax, with plenty of extra room. I recommend this rental to anyone spending an important weekend in Bayview, like a wedding. The next door neighbors were courteous and very tolerant of our busy weekend. Instructions were clear for how to stay out of their way and how to be good guests in the neighborhood of mostly homeowners. I would not consider this a “party house” given the context of the neighborhood and rather a beautiful relaxing domain to enjoy the best neighborhood in Milwaukee.

We had a fantastic long weekend at this Airbnb! The location was absolutely perfect for exploring the area – everything we wanted to see and do was within easy reach. The place itself was wonderful; clean, comfortable, and had everything we needed for a relaxing stay.

Hidden gem. You don’t expect it, if you know Milwaukee since 1974 like me. It is a delightful home away from home.
