Shepherds hut holiday rentals in Mid Suffolk District

We had a lovely two nights at Happy Valley. It is in a peaceful setting. It worked out really well for us as a family of 3. It is so nice to have the cooking facilities by the hut and it was so lovely to have the fire pit for the evening. We would love to come back!

We had a beautiful stay here 😊 lovely, peaceful surroundings and just what we wanted for a last minute getaway. The hut was slightly difficult to find in the dark but what a stunning place it is! Would definitely recommend this place to all 😁

A wonderful glamping/country farm site. We stayed in the Norfolk shepherds hut and it was perfect - spotlessly clean with all the amenities you could want. A well thought-out brochure to download onto your phone with all the information you could need for your stay. Complimentary fresh free range eggs! Just perfect.

We had the perfect weekend stay and Emma's place, the views are breathtaking and they were great hosts. Left plenty of googldies for us at arrival and there were games for the kids to play, including a badminton set. Our daughter felt in love with Dora the cat. We'd love to come back

Lovely relaxing stay in this beautiful, quiet location. The Shepherd’s hut is cosy and comfortable with everything you need. Would definitely recommend and will be returning.

"Wow" what a find! Such a beautiful place and so peaceful. The Shepherds hut was even better than it looked ,in the pictures and very spacious considering. It was spotless inside and had everything you needed. I loved that we arrived to homemade cakes and goodies in the fridge. My son loved the animals and we were very lucky to meet Bob who kindly told my son about the animals and let him help feed some of them. Bob and Helen are excellent hosts, they go above and beyond from start to finish and nothing is to much trouble. We shall be back.

We had a wonderful time at the Shepherd's hut, despite the British weather! Neill and John were very friendly and helpful, they provided some wonderful recommendations - the Sunday roast at the nearby Fox Inn being a stand out. The hut itself had everything you needed and is very stylishly decorated, while the grounds were peaceful and wonderful to explore with the children. We'll definitely be back!

Amazing place to stay and would highly recommend! Katy got us in as a last minute booking without any issues at all. The cabin was beautiful and remote, we can’t wait to come back! The only thing I could comment on was the lack of “comfy” seating on our decking. The wooden chairs were a bit old and rickety.. but they did the job and we had a great time!

We had a lovely stay at The Waggon, which is set in a beautiful, peaceful location. We really appreciated the warm welcome, homemade bread and comfy accomodation. It was lovely to have the animals and birds nearby too.

Blue Sky Huts are just idyllic. We had the most wonderful 2 days here disconnecting from reality and enjoying the peaceful surroundings. The only noise was the birdsong! I cannot recommend this place highly enough if you just want to reset. It was only 30 mins from where we live yet felt like miles away. We will be back without a doubt. Thank you.

Jonny and Jackie were very friendly hosts, who checked on us but also gave up space and privacy. The cabin is very unusual and it was really cool that it was all made from reclaimed materials (even the insulation!). There isn't a shower anymore but the outside loo is useful at night and the bathroom in the house is very nice. The garden is also lovely and if the weather's good you have plenty of space, and it's a great place to sit and relax. We had everything we needed. The cabin is very small as expected but cosy and comfortable and the outside cooking area is well-equipped (although only one person can cook at a time because it's little). If you're staying here as two people it would suit a couple or someone else you know very well who you're happy to be in close proximity with!

Beautiful location, air bnb and hosts. Couldn’t have asked for more. Lizzie and Jules were incredibly supportive with our nervous dog and made sure he was comfortable. We’d love to come again!

We had a wonderful one-night stay at Amanda's charming shepherd’s hut. The hut was beautifully equipped with everything we needed, and the surrounding landscape was simply breathtaking. One of our favorite moments was sitting by the fire late at night, soaking in the peaceful sounds of nature. Waking up to the soft morning light and enjoying the fresh air with our Border Collie made it all the more special. We’ll definitely be recommending this place to friends and family—and we’re already looking forward to coming back ourselves!

Me and my partner had the most relaxing stay, exactly what we needed. It was peaceful, beautiful and fully in touch with nature. We fed the ducks and spent most of our evenings in the hot tub! The kitchenette was plenty for cooking our meals and the place was spotless!

This place exceeded our expectations when it came to luxury finishes, cleanliness, comfort and the fact there was a lovely selection of snacks and drinks available (that you could pay for using a little “honesty box”). Looked even better in real life than photos. Christine was a great host, very responsive in the lead up to our stay and answered all our questions promptly. She did a quick and informative intro to the property when we arrived but then left us in peace for the duration of our stay. The garden area is 100% private with a fence between it and the garden of the main house and has a beautiful view. We loved the fire pit and very peaceful atmosphere at night. During the day you could hear cars passing on the road but after 6pm the traffic was basically non-existent and the evening was incredibly quiet and peaceful. Having our morning coffee in the garden was lovely, surrounded by bird song - the perfect way to start the day. I would definitely stay here again - a lovely stay.

What a perfect place to just switch off from the world and have a rest. The hut is just gorgeous with anything you might need to hand. Will be recommending and returning!

Had a lovely night here with my wife for our anniversary. The hit was absolutely perfect for what we wanted,it was so peaceful with lovely countryside views to look at as we sat by the fire pit. Will definitely return and would definitely recommend

A cute and cosy hut in an idyllic spot- very peaceful and relaxing. We enjoyed the hot tub and feeding the animals. Anna was a very friendly host but not intrusive and the hut felt private despite being close to Anna's house.

We had a wonderful stay at Lexy's. The location is perfect - in walking distance of a nature reserve, close to shops (including a farm shop where you can pick your own strawberries) and 20 mins from a beach where we saw lots of seals! The shepherds hut was clean and well stocked, it had everything you need. It's set in the garden of a beautiful cottage, with lots of other cabins around which gives the place a community feel. It was very peaceful and quiet. We loved using the gas BBQ in the outdoor kitchen, and the beautiful pond on-site was always full of wildlife. We'd definitely stay again, and maybe get a treatment next time!

Beautiful and tastefully decorated. Had seemingly thought of everything and made the most of the space. Such a quiet location (except for the rooster but that was part of the charm for me). Local pubs and shops are all drivable from the location within 5miles I would say. Very clean and comfortable. Maybe the only thing missing that would have been nice was a tv but I do understand why there wasn’t one. Perfect place if you want to get away from the rush for a night or 2. And Sam was very helpful and friendly while also not intrusive on our stay.

I booked this break for my wife’s birthday, we did little shop just up the road at Tesco then found address easy with Apple Maps, Donna came straight out to welcome us, showed us around, introduced us to dogs after checking we were ok with them, then she left us to enjoy our stay, we loved the hot tub whilst listening to the birds singing and visiting the feeders, we cooked on the bbq. The surroundings were so peaceful and was great to unwind and recharge in the most beautiful setting. Will definitely return and would highly recommend.

Honestly this place was simply beautiful, I could have stayed here the rest of my life and have recommended to friends and family - thank you ☺️
