Discover Istria - renovated stone house

Casa Nona Roza was built by our family members in the early 20th century and it was a home of our grandparents. It was completely renovated in 2017, keeping in mind keeping the spirit of old times, combining Istrian tradition with all the elements of modern life. What makes it special is the use of traditional material: massive stone walls, wooden floors, wrought iron fence. The house has two floors. On the ground floor there is the kitchen, dining room and living room combined in a single with air-conditioning , large bathroom and games room (darts, soccer table, bike room). On the second floor there are 3 rooms. Two bedrooms with double beds are air conditioning. One of them has the TV. The third bedroom has two single beds and the possibility of heating for cold days. Also on the same floor there is a large bathroom. What dominates the garden is a large meadow with a centennial tree under which in the afternoon you can be in the shade. In the back of the house there is a well built in 1920. Inside the building there are two parking spaces, one of which is covered. The whole property is surrounded by old walls.

The location of this villa provides an excellent balance of peace and privacy. Away from the city bustle, while still close enough to famous tourist destinations on the coast. The nearest coastal towns are only a short drive from the villa (15km). From Fažana, it is possible to take a boat trip to the Brijuni Park. You can visit central Istria to enjoy the beautiful views and taste Istrian delicacies prosciutto fuže and other specialties. Visit Pula, the Roman amphitheater, the beautiful Rovinj, the castle in Savičenta.

Our house is located in the small fishing village of Ližnjan, in southern Istria, Croatia. The house is 1 km away from the nearest beach, which is suitable for small children. Within a 3 km radius, there are many wild beaches, either rocky or pebbly, with crystal-clear sea. You can reach these wild beaches by car via a stone road or on foot if you prefer. The house is approximately 9 km from the larger city of Pula, where you can visit numerous historical and other attractions.
