Holiday rentals with a patio in Mata de Plátano

Outstanding host and we loved the location in Luquillo! Town had a great laid back vibe. The host was extremely friendly and proactive and gave great recommendations. We had one issue come up that was outside of her control (maintenance company working on unit next door caused our AC to stop working)… even though it was a Saturday evening, she responded right away and had people coming to take care of it within minutes. Luckily we were able to get it back on before they arrived, but the fact she was so quick to take care of an issue says a lot! The unit was clean and had very comfortable beds. The only thing that needs some attention is that the exterior of the building could really use a fresh coat of paint bc it was looking a bit rundown. But don’t let that deter you - the unit is clean and comfortable! The location is great and we loved all of the nearby restaurants. It was also very convenient to catch the ferry to Vieques or Culebra and visit El Yunque rainforest which is a must!

I went to Puerto Rico for an unfortunate situation the passing of my grandmother, Omar was super polite and went the extra mile for my family and me. He made sure to contact me and made sure that everything was good and if we needed anything to contact him. He was very sympathetic to my situation and I appreciate that. The house was super clean and in a great location. Restaurant everywhere with great food, sitting in the porch was very relaxing especially hearing the waves from the beach. I had a great overall experience staying here, this time wasn’t a vacation for me but the next time I do vacation I will be looking to stay here again.

Beautiful ocean-front views, steps to the beach with beach chairs, towels and everything you need to have a spectacular beach day provided in the apartment. We happen to stay while there was an island-wide blackout. Chana proactively informed us and let us know that the common areas like the elevator would have electricity which was great because this apartment is in the 18th floor. Lights on in the hallway along with candles and flashlights in the apartment allowed us to stay at the apartment not in completely darkness making the best out of the situation. 10 out of 10 would recommend.

The apartment was perfect for my needs. It was only a two night stay. Close to the beach and many places to eat, things to do. The hosts were very friendly, amicable and very responsive to any questions that I had. in fact, they frequently checked on me to ask how my stay was going.

The unit was just as described. It had two couches that doubled as beds that were way better than your normal sofa bed. Bed was comfortable and unit was very clean. The view was awesome and only a short walk to the beautiful beach. Has a very large pool although we stayed at the beach most of the time. We only had one issue which was with the internet while we were there and Luis was on it within minutes and had it resolved. He gave us some good recommendations on food. Panderri which was a quick walk from the unit was our favorite. The condo complex has secured entry and all of the folks there were all friendly. Would definitely stay here again if we are back in the area.

Great place right across the beach!! Plus lots of food options. There are restaurants and even a food truck plaza. The host was very responsive and attentive. I highly recommend this place !

What a beautiful condo. We loved the ocean views and comfy chairs. The kitchen had everything we needed and more - air fryer, microwave, oven and stove, toaster oven, tons of dishware, dishware for small children, etc! The washer and dryer were so convenient and the AC was nice and cold. It was apparent the condo was well loved and cared for. There were lots of nice extras including extra towels and blankets, pool and beach toys, beach chairs, etc. We also took advantage of there being 3 TVs. We loved the property grounds and spent many evenings at the pool after going to the beach. Playa Azul was gorgeous with waves, and Playa de Luquillo was calm and had good food. Our favorite was the quiet area between the two, it felt like a private island! Karen was very responsive to any messages before and during our trip. She was a gem to work with and I would be happy to recommend her property to anyone staying in the area.

Jer's place was extremely convenient for our multiple rainforest hiking adventures in El Yunque. It was very spacious and easily fit 6 adults in separate beds. The backyard is very spacious and great for hanging out, grilling and enjoying the great weather.

We had a great stay in Ricardo's home during our trip. We are working professionals and was able to work remotely with no connection issues and always had power. Ricardo is very attentive and addressed any concerns we had immediately. We would gladly stay with Ricardo again.

Really a nice place to stay, very clean and with eveything you need (maybe an new frying pan would be welcome though). Garage and pool was a plus, and beds are confortable with efficient and relativly quiet AC, though we only used it in the room because the kitchen and mais room have a ceiling fan. Communication with elis was simple and very clear, I recommend!

Location couldn’t have been better. Close to the beach, supermarkets, and restaurants. The house was very spacious and clean. The host provides all the essential necessities.

Elisa's place was great for our stay on the east coast. The neighborhood was very quiet and easy to get to. The place was perfect for a family to have their own separate place, yet they can still be together with the shared area. I would highly recommend the airbnb, great to get to all the areas on the east coast. The airbnb description was accurate and it had all the amenities needed for a comfortable stay.

It was really great place to stay with family and it was very clean and quiet! Definitely recommended!

The house is comfortable, large with everything you might need. In a very quiet neighborhood and the host was quick for everything we needed.

Simone was an amazing host and the house definitely matched her energy. Inviting, calm, and prepared to give you a good time. Everything was as promised and perhaps even a bit better — my personal favorite things about the space was the cleanliness of the inside (and outside, even through the elements), the charm of the home and how it truly felt like staying at a relatives place, and the amenities. I’m Puerto Rican, born in Florida and this was mine and my families first time visiting the island. We could not have imagined staying anywhere else! Proximity to things was ideal and if you’re looking for a chill place to come back to after an action packed day or somewhere to kick back and take in the beauty of the island, I would highly recommend staying here. My only regret is not requesting more PTO to stay longer!

omar, i just wanted to say thank you for providing a beautiful peaceful place while i visited PR! The apartment was perfect and cleaned spotless when i arrived . The beach is a 2 min walk away from the place. The apartment was free of noise, no loud kids, i didnt even hear one police siren while i was there. There is a mini market right outside and Laundromat. Straight up relaxation and bliss . I would rent one if these apartments if i could! Thank you again omar

I can’t say enough great things about our stay! We were looking for a place close to the airport (only 30-45 mins) and close to calm beaches. We had all of that and more! The pool was usually empty so it felt like my kids personal pool, the place was spotless and best of all we had access to so many beaches within 10 mins drive.

our stay in her beautiful condo was top notch. we arrived in the dark so it was difficult finding the right lock box and the right door then when we figured it out it was no problem. I highly recommend staying here.

The location is amazing - close to El Yunque and Luquillo and under a hour's drive to Old San Juan and Fajardo (15 minutes). You have direct private access to a very tranquil beach (Punta Bandera) that is great if you have young children and walking distance or a short drive to other more popular public beaches. The town of Luquillo is bustling and has great restaurants. The condo is located in a gated complex and in a very safe and quiet neighbourhood. The condo is well equipped with all the linens and cooking equipment you require and is quite spacious for party of 6. A particular highlight of the condo is the rooftop terrace with ocean views and plenty of outdoor dining and lounging space, including a BBQ. It's a great way to wind down in the evenings with a glass of wine or to start your day with a coffee. The host is fantastic. He was extremely communicative and responded exceptionally quick if there were any minor issues. The property manager in PR (Joel) checked in regularly.

Karla's place had everything we needed for our stay. It was clean and surpassed my expectations. .The only thing we disliked was trying to grt the doors unlocked into the building and room. We really enjoyed the beach supplies Karla supplied. The views on the top deck were beautiful. The building is pretty much as close to the ocean as you can get. The sound of the ocean was mesmerizing. We were able to walk in both directions of the building. The small little beach close to the building was very secluded. You can walk down to the river from the beach and get an incredible mountain view. It was about a 25 minute walk to Luquillo beach and the Kiosks. My teenage children loved staying here. We can't wait to return to Karla's place next time.

We loved the rooftop. It was awesome to have a private patio overlooking the ocean on one side and the rainforest on the other. Though the surrounding homes and structures still show heavy signs of hurricane destruction, walking down the street felt very safe. The neighbors were friendly and would wave when you walk/drive by. Dewey also had a lot of nice amenities for the kids, like sand toys, knee boards, beach towels, etc. Very well stocked. AC also worked well to keep us cool in the evenings.

5 minute walk to the gorgeous Luquillo beach. The view was incredible from the 19th floor location. We loved the space and layout. Security was friendly. Less than 10 min drive to the kioskos, and 15 to 20 to get to El Yunque Portal.

The condo was extremely well equipped, large and spacious. The location was excellent, we have stayed in Luquillo many times and will definitely try to stay at this property in the future.
