Holiday rentals with a pool in Mata de Plátano

We stayed at Eric and Marilyn’s place in Luquillo from May 21–29 and had an amazing experience. The home was clean, spacious, and stocked with everything we needed—and more! The kitchen was fully equipped, the beach gear (towels, chairs, cooler, toys) was a huge plus, and the A/C in the bedrooms made it super comfortable after long, hot days. We felt safe in the gated community and loved the walkable location and pool access. Eric and Marilyn were very communicative and kind. Highly recommend—we’d definitely stay again!

The Jacuzzi was definitely a perk at the end of a long day. Very relaxing. The house was clean and smelled wonderfully. The AC worked great. Teisa had snacks, towels, a bag, chairs, and sun block for our use. We had absolutely no issues. We would definitely stay again when visiting the island.

We had a wonderful stay at Natividad’s Airbnb! I stayed with my wife and our two kids, and we all enjoyed it so much. The place was very clean, cozy, and well-decorated. Our kids absolutely loved the pool — they spent hours having fun there! The location is also perfect. It’s super close to all the fun spots in Luquillo, Fajardo, and Río Grande, which made our trip so much easier and more enjoyable. We highly recommend this place for families looking to relax and explore the area. Thank you for a great experience!

We had an amazing stay! The property was exceptional—spotlessly clean, beautifully maintained, and very kid-friendly. One of the highlights was the thoughtful inclusion of beach essentials like coolers, chairs, beach toys, and balls, which made it so easy to enjoy beautiful beach days. The manager was also incredibly kind and helpful, which made the experience even better. You can tell a lot of care goes into this place. I would absolutely recommend it to anyone and would definitely stay here again!

Our li'l fam very much enjoyed our stay at Jonathan and Monica's cozy and relaxing place because it was exactly what we were looking for. Instead of being cooped up in a small hotel room with a possible pool many floors away, everything we needed was right there. Rainforest hikes, beautiful beaches, local restaurants, city sightseeing, and more all short drives away, but we were perfectly happy hanging at their place without too busy of an agenda. This would be a great place not just for a family, but a group of friends as well. We highly recommend staying here as it was a big factor for such a fun, relaxing vacation.

This BNB went above expectations, all the extra accommodations from in person walkthrough check in, to extra amenities in the home (beach accessories, first aid kit, sunscreen, aloe, detergent, kids toys, pool access, etc.) all was appreciated and needed for a relaxing getaway. The check in process was very thorough, and made us not only feel at home but gave us the ability to function as locals at the beach and know our way around the neighborhood. Security was friendly, and attentive. House was very clean, as well as linens, beach towels, bathrooms, toiletries, etc. would definitely stay again! Walking distance from grocery, bakery, drinks, fresh food, and the kiosks. Super quiet and comfy neighborhood, Great family vacation! You can tell the property management is top level, thank you again will definitely be back again soon!

Host is very responsive. Place is as nice as it looks in the pictures. I did experience a power outage BUT the host was quick to fix the problem, he guided me on how to get the backup generator running and everything was fine power came back on an hour later. If u want to experience a quiet private airbnb this is it.

Super clean and quiet, peaceful and comfortable! Everything I needed was there, great a/c and ceiling fans to keep cool. Will book again!

Lovely place, before arriving in town she provided a list or restaurants, activities and local places. The host responded in a great time manner. Simple instructions for check in. Friendly security staff. Nice area , quiet and clean. Quiet halls , easy garbage disposal. The room is bright and beautiful! Walk in closet with washer and dryer, full body mirror. Nice clean kitchenette, she even left us gifts in the fridge. Floors shiny , walls clean, huge tv and sound bar , bathroom was beautiful and clean, free WiFi , STUNNING VIEW , balcony has a view of the town and ocean! There is a pool , tennis court, basketball court, and 2 min walk to the ocean. Just like any warm place there were a little ants. I recommend storing all food and beverages in fridge I really have no complaints. I would definitely book with her again.

We had another lovely stay here in Liquillo! We enjoyed it so much last year we returned again this year. The apartment is in a great location, easy to get to the shops, restaurants, kiosks and surrounding areas. We really enjoy swimming at the beach and using the pool and having everything easily accessible. The apartment was spacious and great for even having a few meals in! We had a really lovely family stay here again! Thanks for having us!

My wife and I really enjoyed our stay at Playa Azul! Jer was a wonderful and attentive host. Many necessities were provided (beach chairs, dinnerware, small cooler) which came in handy. Thanks for the memories!

The space was absolutely stunning. Loved how there was floats for the babies, life jackets and beach chairs. It made my trip so much easier! I really enjoyed the comfy beds! The space was super clean and I really loved how there was things already there that made cooking easy and I didn’t have to buy anything extra. The beach right in front wasn’t swimmable but we went to one 7 minutes away and it was so pretty and peaceful.

This place was exactly what the pictures looked like. My boyfriend was extremely impressed. I was too. We came from Ohio and were worth the trip. The host communicated effectively and extremely resourceful. Thank you for the great service.

I enjoyed so much staying at plata azul … everything was so convenient the apartment was so cozy and clean … I loved it !!! I will definitely stay again ❤️❤️❤️

El Oasis by the sea era mejor Que esperabamos. Despues de Que los security nos recibieron, el check-in fue facil. El edificio es muy seguro. No tienes Que preocuparte por nada. Cuando por fin entramos, el lugar esta muy limpio! El ubicacion esta serca a una tienda y restourantes. La playa es espetacular. Nuestra host nos facilito con sillas de playa, una sombra, cooler y equipo de snorkel! Nuestra experiencia fue al 100! Oasis by the sea was everything we could have asked for and more! Check in took a little longer than you’d normally expect, but it’s because it’s a very secure building, which is a good thing. After checking in with both security guards, everything went so smoothly. The place was very clean and spacious. Our host even provided us with beach chairs, cooler, sand toys and snorkeling gear! The location was spectacular; next to a beautiful beach and a grocery store, gas station and more. However, Renting a car is a must. This was a Magical stay. Thank you Evelisette!
