Holiday rentals with a pool in Mata de Plátano

Jer's place was extremely convenient for our multiple rainforest hiking adventures in El Yunque. It was very spacious and easily fit 6 adults in separate beds. The backyard is very spacious and great for hanging out, grilling and enjoying the great weather.

The house was very clean, tons of towels and great outdoor area with pool and really cool lights. Elis was very responsive and honest to all our questions and requests, even allowed us a late checkout. We felt comfortable and taken care of. Nice quiet neighborhood with neighbors having little cute dogs that barked at us lol, we heard chickens and had a great Mountain View. Great AC, Would definitely recommend

The house surprisingly was quite stocked, more than I expect to see at any other airbnbs. I didn’t need to pick anything other than food at Walmart for the few evenings we cooked at home. There were quite a bit of these tiny ants so we couldn’t leave anything out. Otherwise it was a great stay, and loved that it was so close to the beach.

What an amazing place. Easy to access Luquillo (10 min) but at the top of a neighborhood nestled in the rain forest. No mosquitos at our place (April, though we did have some in Luquillo). Amazing nature sounds at night, peaceful and quiet. We would love to stay again when we go back. The island lost power for two days, but we were all set with the power walls. Internet and AC worked the whole time. Clutch!

The area of the place was nice. I did get lost trying to get to the location but she helped right away actually came out to rescue us. Very friendly and always willing to help. The power did go out for a few hrs but that’s due to the rain it happens. The rain did cause some water to come into the garage and back door where the pool is located. The location is very beautiful wish we could’ve enjoyed it better. Definitely recommend!!

My husband and I had a wonderful week long stay at Osmay’s house. The view was absolutely incredible! We loved the patio the most. If you’re looking for a private getaway in the forest, this is a hidden gem! Can’t wait to see the place when the top floor is done being built. Thanks Osmay for a wonderful stay.

Such a beautiful house! It’s perfect if you’re traveling with more than 1 person, it’s spacious and the pool is amazing, very clean house and rail was helpful throughout our stay. Definitely recommend staying here!

We loved our 4 nights stay in Luquillo! The house looked better than on the picture.s We loved the fact that the house was really close to the beach, no more than a 2-minute walk. Beach towels and chairs were provided. We also loved the large veranda to enjoy happy hour and dinner . Our host, Dianne, was really quick to respond all the time and very friendly. Would definitely stay here again!

omar, i just wanted to say thank you for providing a beautiful peaceful place while i visited PR! The apartment was perfect and cleaned spotless when i arrived . The beach is a 2 min walk away from the place. The apartment was free of noise, no loud kids, i didnt even hear one police siren while i was there. There is a mini market right outside and Laundromat. Straight up relaxation and bliss . I would rent one if these apartments if i could! Thank you again omar

I can’t say enough great things about our stay! We were looking for a place close to the airport (only 30-45 mins) and close to calm beaches. We had all of that and more! The pool was usually empty so it felt like my kids personal pool, the place was spotless and best of all we had access to so many beaches within 10 mins drive.

Jason was quick to respond and so helpful. The place is located near the beach and easy to access. Near everything we wanted.

We loved Gabriel’s place. The views of the ocean were amazing, the place was just steps from the beach, from the kiosks in Luquillo, and from other great restaurants in Luquillo. Parking was easy, the apartment was clean, it all felt very safe, and Gabriel was a very helpful and communicative host! We’d definitely recommend!

Would give more than 5 stars if I could… Brad was extremely helpful at suggesting places to visit or sights to see. You are also close to a nice beach, El Yunque, and can walk to a plethora of great restaurants. The amenities were also great for pickleball, running, basketball, and swimming! Definitely recommending this place and want to come back. Everything was nicer than it was in the pictures!! Thank you Brad!

A perfect little beach paradise with an incredible view. Great space, small but nicely stocked kitchen, comfy bed, good wifi, and ahhhh that patio. Great bars and restaurants close by. Short walk to the beach. Pool was super clean. Dated building, but super nice people everywhere. Would definitely recommend renting. Note: elevator briefly went out of order, which is common among the Luquillo tower condos. Keep this in mind if you can't handle a lot of stairs!

I stood at multiple airbnbs during my vacation this was the one we wished we could have stayed at longer. the place was exactly what you expected and more the view the balcony the added touches were amazing. The host was responsive and gave some local recommendations that were superb 5 start experience to say the least.

If you’re considering Luquillo, this listing will not disappoint. Such a peaceful place to retreat to! We stayed here 3 nights, 4 days. The apartment is exactly as pictured and the view from the high level floor is just ughhhh 😍. The proximity to Fajardo and El Yunque was perfect for excursions. The building staff and residents were so sweet and welcoming. Jeannette and Armando boast a clean, thoughtfully stocked home and we appreciated every detail! They were also so kind. 10/10 stay!!!
