We’ve had the pleasure of staying with this wonderful host twice now, and both experiences have been absolutely fantastic. He’s incredibly sweet and always goes out of his way to make us feel comfortable and at home. Over the years, he’s expanded his property, and it’s been amazing to see how much more accessible it’s become. The homely vibes are truly special, and it’s clear he puts a lot of thought into ensuring his guests have a great stay. What really sets this place apart are the unique structures inspired by sustainable ideas—like the mud house and tree houses. Each one is so thoughtfully designed, creating a peaceful and eco-friendly environment. It’s always a joy to return here, and we can’t wait to visit again in the future! Great place with a great view. Caretakers were great kapil ji especially. A must visit, great food, enjoyed every last second we spent there.

Our stay at Roamhome was nothing short of magical! Nestled atop a hill near Dhoulchhina, the resort offers breathtaking views of the Himalayan mountain ranges. The beauty of this place is simply unparalleled, making it a perfect retreat for nature lovers. A huge shoutout to our amazing hosts, *Tarun bhaiya* and *Bhabhi*, who made us feel at home from the moment we arrived. Their hospitality was beyond expectations, and they went out of their way to make our stay comfortable and memorable. *Bhabhi’s traditional Pahadi food* was extraordinary—authentic flavors that left us craving for more. We truly felt like we had found a family in the mountains! A special mention to little *Sagar (Golu)*, who kept us entertained with his stories and helped us explore the surroundings. His enthusiasm and knowledge about the place added a unique charm to our experience.

How do I describe Meenakshi aunty and her beautifully organised home? I have been wondering the same since I said my goodbyes to her with a promise to return to this very charming cottage. I was here for a month this time. The sight of the sunrise from the cottage will mesmerise any city dweller. An extremely well equipped cottage with nothing lacking. The food served is the local Kumaoni cuisine. It's sumptuous and delicious. Lovingly prepared and generously fed. The host herself is a wonderful person, and I thoroughly enjoyed my long morning walks with her. She is a meaningful listener and has umpteen stories to share. I found a friend in her. It's great to be living amongst people who have a humane touch in everything they do. I feel refreshed and rejuvenated with a sense of newness.
