With gorgeous mountain views, large outdoors, birdwatching, hikes, and modern amenities, this place is for tranquility and slowness. You must walk 10 minutes to get here. There is a climb back. Read by large bay windows, cozy up by the bukharis, cook in the fully equipped kitchen, stargaze. We are secluded, and you will experience the wilderness. A 10min walk down from the road or a 3 minute trek, you need to be mildly adventurous and fit to get here. Shops are a 2minute drive or 15minute walk.

The homestay is located in a very peaceful location near simtola eco park. Its a two story traditional house. The kitchen, dining area, a queen size bed and bathroom is in the ground floor and a double bed is in the first. The bedroom, bathroom and kitchen have all the basic amenities. The house features beautiful view of sunrise and snow covered peaks in a distance. Located amidst the dense deodar jungle one can sit in the garden and enjoy a peaceful and relaxing time throughout the day.

Nayalap - Himalayan Earth Homes

The last 7 years have been an incredible learning experience. Since we moved to the village, the priorities have changed. There was a sense of discovery in everything we did. There were chai-filled conversations with elders and young turks and stories on how homes and communities were built. It's these learnings that led us to build these earth homes. Kumaon has been a great teacher. And we hope we've done justice to her sustainable ways.
