I had booked two very pretty rooms at Dr. Shambu’s place and honestly, they looked exactly like the pictures – clean, peaceful, spacious, elegant, and super classy. Both properties had an aesthetic vibe and were thoughtfully equipped with amenities like a mini fridge, oven, kettle, and even some yummy complimentary treats. One of the properties had a beautiful balcony where you can enjoy a hot cup of tea – I didn’t get the chance because I was short on time, but I’m sure you’ll love it if you do. Since Dr. Shambu was away at a medical conference, I was also in touch with his son. He’s really young but very responsible, kind, and knows exactly how to make guests feel comfortable. Both Dr. Shambu and his son were super helpful – they kept sharing contacts for autos, boat rides, darshan arrangements, and they even have a customised brochure with great tips for tourists. Even though Dr. Shambu was busy, he still took the time to check in to see how my stay was going.

Honestly, one of the best stays we’ve had! The place looks exactly like the pictures no surprises at all. If you’re planning a trip, definitely go during the rains. Everything looks extra dreamy and romantic and the whole vibe just gets 10x better. The place was super clean, the doggos were adorable and friendly and we had everything we needed. You can order food easily from Zomato, or grab groceries from Blinkit or BigBasket if you feel like cooking the kitchen’s fully stocked. We loved it so much, we’re already planning to come back with our families!

We stayed here for 4 nights and absolutely loved our time. The place is tucked away in a quiet and peaceful spot near Manali, which was exactly what we were looking for. It felt like a perfect escape from the usual noise and rush of city life. The house had a beautiful rustic charm to it—simple and authentic. Everything felt warm and welcoming. The view from the property was stunning, with mountains all around and fresh air that made time slow down. We spent hours just sitting and soaking it all in. One of the things we appreciated the most was how involved the entire host family was. They were kind, helpful, and always around when we needed something, without being intrusive. The food was very delicious and homely. This stay was everything we hoped for—peaceful, cozy, and memorable. We’ll definitely be coming back again and would recommend it to anyone looking for a calm and heartfelt experience in the mountains!

The place felt right like home. Rachna did a fantastic job of taking care of the property and I would visit again for sure.

We stayed in the tree house for two nights, and if I could rate it more than 5 stars, I'd give it a solid 10!!! Highly recommended this property if you're someone who enjoys great food along with a peaceful and comfortable stay. 1. The host were warm and hospitalable, overall ambiance of the place made us feel right at home. We also enjoyed local Himachali home-made food "Siddu" here. 2. Further, This property is also kid friendly. We were given access to kitchen to prepare meals for our one year old kid. Our child also enjoyed the placevand grew fond of Daleep uncle. The entire family was incredibl kindhand welcoming. 3. There is a short 15-minute trek behind this property. Also, a separate yoga room is available for the guests. 4. Places like Jibhi waterfall and mini Thailand are conveniently located within the range of 1-2kms. 5. Overall we had a wonderful stay here.

I enjoyed my stay at the Gorgian very much, and it undoubtedly made my experience in Mumbai one to remember. The location is fantastic, being extremely close to both the water and train station. I found that it was a little under an hours walk to downtown Mumbai as well with plenty to see on the way. Mahendra was very nice and makes a great cup of coffee. He kept the place spotless my entire visit and even offered to cook for me. I would highly recommend anyone travelling to Mumbai to consider staying here, as I certainly will if I ever revisit the city.
