Apartment holiday rentals in Margate Beach

Great stay and perfect location for visiting Margate. Towels and bedding were clean and fresh and the apartment was very clean and tidy. As per previous guest reviews, there’s an issue with the water temperature when using the shower but we found a workaround that balanced the temperature out (Hint - use the shower attachment connected to the bath taps and put that in the shower holder, it just about fits. You can control the temperature much better). I had to give Arnold a low mark for communication because I literally never heard from him the entire time leading up to the booking and right through to checkout. Although clear and concise, the only information we had was what was on the booking app. This was enough for us to check in and enjoy our stay but an acknowledgment of messages would have been nice (I hope the lack of response didn’t indicate that he was ill). A lovely, short break in a good location.

Lovely apartment with everything you need. Extremely clean and comfortable. Would definitely recommend staying there if looking for a place to stay in Deal as the views were superb and central to everything. Roger the host was very helpful with regards to parking. Can’t fault anything.

Claires house was beautiful, clearly someone who knows how to make a house feel like a home, but also have the luxury feeling of a hotel. Super clean and comfy. Claire was super responsive and helped us with all our questions. Small suggestion: a bigger bathroom rug to soak up any water from the shower and a small desk or chest of draws in the bedroom to unpack your suitcase into. Everything else was loveleyy and we will be coming again🩷

Caroline is a great host, incredibly responsive and provided great insights to the local area, would highly recommend.

Nicole's place in Margate was lovely, amazing views, heaps of space and great location close to the main areas. Nicole was super helpful and friendly! Would stay again and recommend :)

Really enjoyed our stay here seeing family and friends 😊 Great view of the sea -which is just accross the fairly quiet road And made use of lovely patio area and shared garden Fairly quiet and only a short walk to broadstairs shops etc We walked from train station approx 15 mins Enjoyed the French doors opening to patio having fresh air

We loved staying at the Writers’ Retreat with our three year old son. We felt right at home, and the floor to ceiling windows in virtually every room were incredible. The flat is also double-aspect, which means you get a view of the Lido from the back of the flat. We were close to everything we needed - the beach for a paddle, Haeckles for a birthday massage, Northdown Road for breakfast, and Old Town for dinner. We’ll definitely be back!

In the thick of the action this was a great place to stay for a fun weekend in Margate! Only a 15 min walk into Old Town too. Beautiful sea views from the balcony. We love Margate!

Very well located, close to the old town and lots of restaurants and bars close by. Lovely top floor flat, which was clean and bright. Well equipped kitchen with all that one needs to make meals or snacks. Flat had tea, coffee and other necessities to cook (oils, salt, pepper etc). We didn’t cook, but could easily see there was enough equipment and basics to be able to. There’s a great washing machine and detergents too. Everything is provided for a comfortable stay. Really comfortable bed with good duvet and pillows. TV had many channels and Wi-Fi was easy to use. Shower was very good and powerful and there was body, hand wash and conditioner. Lovely towels and we enjoyed our two nights. Highly recommend this place as it was comfortable, clean and central.

Brilliant flat in walking distance of main beach and with some excellent restaurants and bars nearby

The flat is the perfect Margate oasis — less than a 5-minute walk to sandy beaches, a great coffee spot, and the town center. Inside, it’s beautifully decorated, and the balcony with its sea and sunset views is the perfect place to relax in the evenings. Highly recommend!

The apartment is beautifully presented and so clean - we felt really comfortable straight away. The location is fantastic and perfect for a stay with a dog as the beach is just a few steps away. Would highly recommend this property for a chilled out break

We had a really lovely stay in this beautiful bright apartment that thoughtfully provided everything we needed. The bed was comfortable and we enjoyed spending time in the apartment when not enjoying everything Margate had to offer. The location is perfect, will definitely be back.

My friends and I had a great stay! The place had everything we needed, the beds were really comfortable, and the hot tub was a perfect touch that made our trip even more special. The host was friendly and responded quickly to any questions we had. We would definitely stay here again!

The apartment was perfect, not only for its location but the amenities made it feel extra luxurious and elevated, it was also very well equipped; the bath robes were a very nice touch and the bed was unbelievably comfortable . Robbie was extremely friendly and attentive host, very hospitable and easy to get a hold of. The jacuzzi bath and massage chair made this the perfect stay. Can’t wait to visit again, would highly recommend!

The apartment is spotless, cozy, and located in Birchington-on-Sea just a short walk from the sea. Inside, everything feels welcoming and well-prepared — from the comfortable bed with a quality mattress to the clean and practical kitchen and bathroom. It’s a peaceful space that has everything you need for a pleasant stay, including a little garden where you can sit and enjoy the fresh air. The host was absolutely wonderful — very, very polite, helpful, and always quick to respond. She made everything easy and even allowed early check-in and late check-out, which I really appreciated. I truly enjoyed my stay and would love to return.

Chloe was a fabulous host, had left milk, wine and tea/ coffee for us to use! There was a great map showcasing the walking nearby and the flat itself was great 😊

We had a great time staying in the caravan! This is a perfect location to get to the cliffs, Dover castle, and lighthouse. Only a 10 min drive to the city of Dover as well. Anna Maria was great at communicating especially when we needed help! Over all we would recommend this place to anyone visiting the area.

Fantastic apartment, with secure parking, literally on the beach front. Amazing views over the Channel. Easy walking distance to town and the harbour. We had an issue with not recieving the check in information via the website, but the owner was able to respond quickly and provide us with the necessary information when contacted by telephone to remedy the situation. Similarly, very quick response and resolution when we found the saucepans had stopped completing the induction loop on the kitchen hob. Excellent host, great apartment - we had a wonderful holiday!
