What a magic place. Nestled high in the mountain, Gerhard offers a private sanctuary where you literally feel on top of the world. We loved every moment - from the clear arrival instructions, much appreciated supplies for guests and use of the gardens and pool to the painting like view out each window, us and our 2 and 4 year old had a great time.

The apartment, its terrace, the beautiful garden, the fantastic pool... We enjoyed Gerhard very much. Especially the bathtub outside in the garden also delighted our baby. He left us some groceries to welcome us. Especially the self-produced oil is delicious! Only at the arrival I was a little stressed by the gravel road. But you end up in the middle of nature.

Thank you so much for your hospitality and advice! We had a great time, immersed in nature, in the quiet and in the wonderful wisteria that surrounded us over breakfast! The room and bathroom were very clean and fragrant! We'll definitely be back soon. Cristina and Mattia.

We had a truly wonderful stay in Umbria! The location is absolutely perfect – completely secluded for peace and quiet, yet within an hour's drive from beautiful towns like Assisi, Spello, and Perugia. It’s an ideal spot for anyone looking to disconnect from the hustle and recharge in nature. The apartment is fully equipped with everything you might need, clean, and very comfortable. It's also a great base for cycling, whether you prefer mountain biking or gravel riding – plenty of scenic routes right from the doorstep. Gerhard was incredibly friendly and welcoming, and it meant a lot to us that he warmly received our two dogs as well. We felt right at home from the moment we arrived. Highly recommended for anyone seeking a peaceful retreat in the heart of Umbria!

Unique and beautiful setting. Simple but clean and comfortable bed. Great to have access to the kitchen and breakfast was a lovely surprise. The building and the gardens are the show stoppers. An absolute must if you are in this area.

Last minute check in. Honestly the nicest , most homey and serene place we have stayed in Italy . We got to experience relaxation, delicious food from the garden, relaxation room, abundance of nature and wonderful hosts. If you want to rejuvenate this is the place. Such a pleasure .
