“A beautiful location nestled in the hill overlooking countryside. You are quite rural, in a tiny hamlet amongst farmland. Sara and Simone have a little paradise with the wonderful blue swimming pool and comfortable stylish seating area, surrounded by the garden which is beautiful, full of flowers, shrubs, olive trees. We loved the fact there are animals on the property, cats, hens, a dog, and horse in the olive grove, and the many butterflies and dragonflies whizzing about the pool. The house is tastefully furnished and characterful, the kitchen area is small but well equipted, and the simplest of Italian food is delicious anyway!! Lovely fresh eggs from Saras hens were appreciated too! Todi is quite enchanting and is about 15/20 mins away, as the white track from the house takes a while to negotiate. There is easy parking in Todi and then you catch a free cable car up into the old town, delivering you in a beautiful park in the town over looking stunning countryside. It has a charming feel to it and lots of eateries, beautiful architecture, stunning views and gliding swifts. We did a lot of trips, all took aprox an hour to get too. Can highly recommend Perugia, Orvietto, Maremore Cacades,Roman waterfall, Lake Bolsena, you can hire a boat which is a lot of fun, and the surreal and wonderous Sacro Bosco sculpture park, forest..look it up..v special. Finally Sara and Simone were lovely, friendly, welcoming and helpful”

“We had another fantastic summer summer holiday in Italy. This place is really cozy and with a great tranquility around the place. The family is incredibly sweet and very service-minded, they like to share their experiences around the places, restaurants, castles, etc. in the immediate area. Can clearly recommend the place if you want the authentic Italy :-)”
Newly renovated apartment in an old farmhouse.
“We had an absolutely wonderful time staying at Silvia’s. When we first stumbled upon this gorgeous property, with that dreamy pool, it seemed too good to be true. But everything was as perfect in real life as it appears online. Silvia is a very thoughtful and gracious host, who is passionate about her home. She even provided very generous servings of yummy breakfast items for us to enjoy throughout our stay. The little house is just perfect, spotlessly clean and beautifully renovated. The kitchen is compact and contains everything you need to self-cater comfortably. The bed is really big and comfortable, the bathroom is lovely with a beautiful rain-head shower. The pool is utterly gorgeous, and we were lucky enough to have it all to ourselves for the duration of our stay. Swimming in that sparkling water while soaking in those views was truly special. The real surprise for us was the pretty, private garden in front of our accomodation. When we weren’t at the pool, we were enjoying the views from the garden, including watching an afternoon thunderstorm roll by. While Silvia and her sweet family do live in the attached property, at no stage did we feel a lack of privacy. The location is just incredible, overlooking the beautiful Italian countryside. The surrounding region is dotted with the most charming medieval hillside villages, which are within just a short 10-30 minute drive of the property. Each morning we woke up early to enjoy the sunrise and eat breakfast in the garden, before heading out to visit a nearby village. But we made sure to be back by mid afternoon to enjoy some sun and swims, before a sunset drink by the pool. Silvia offered some great information about local spots to visit, and local food/wines to try. She also had excellent restaurant recommendations and even phoned ahead for us, to be sure a little spot was open. Silvia did her best to ensure our week under the Umbrian sun was comfortable and memorable! Thanks Silvia, we had a wonderful stay and hope we can visit again one day!”
