Welcome to Villa Maria, our fairy tale guest house in a calm location next to the forest and with a vast garden in the village Lauterbourg in Northern Alsace, France. It's just 5 min by foot to the heart of the village with a couple of bakeries, restaurants, a grocery store and small shops, or 10 min to the beach & lake. It's only 2 min by car from Germany, and a perfect location for exploring the Rhine border region Karlsruhe-Strasbourg, or for a rest on the way when travelling across Europe.

Where the mountain road and Odenwald meet, in the middle of the idyllic Lautertal (Reichenbach), is our inviting apartment. After the somewhat bumpy approach over a short stretch of gravel road (parking on the street with a 50-100 m walk is of course also possible ;)) and the steps to the apartment are overcome, an oasis of peace awaits you far away from street noise and city stress. The lovingly furnished apartment invites you to relax & linger between hiking and mountain bike tours.

In the morning, enjoy the coffee in the sunny courtyard and in the evening a glass of wine on the terrace of your apartment. Fantastic cycling and hiking trails start right outside the door through the vineyards. Wi-Fi, parking and many personal tips for excursions, wineries and restaurants make your stay unforgettable. In the middle of the sports community of Heddesheim is the lovingly renovated, spacious apartment for 1-7 people on the upper floor of our former farmhouse. You will find "4 bedrooms" (see pictures), 2 bathrooms with shower and toilet, a kitchen with spacious dining area, as well as a living room and a large lounge area in the former granary for playing, listening to music, reading and chilling. A washing machine, dryer, 2 high chairs and 2 baby cribs are provided.

This wonderful 1 bedroom apartment disposes an open plan living room with a seating area with TV. The apartment can accommodate 3 adults or 2 adults and 1-2 children (1 sofa-bed in the living room or 1 separate childs bed). The kitchen is fully equipped with all you need - except oven or microwave - and there is a table for dining with 4 chairs in the room. The bedroom has a king size bed and a wardrobe for your belongings. The bathroom is small and has a bathub.
