Skipperhuset

🏡 Skipperhuset is the oldest house on our family farm Birkenes, which is located in Farsund municipality. Skipperhuset was built in the 19th century and has been rehabilitated several times, most recently in the spring of 2021. In collaboration with a local painting company, we work to make the house as authentic as possible, including by wallpapering the living room, kitchen and hallway with skipper's house wallpaper and linseed oil paint to preserve wood, etc. Skipperhuset has a natural place on the farm and is located wall to wall with the brewery, which has a renovated bakery oven.

Southern idyll for big and small

Clean and easy accommodation in Mandal. One double room and one single room are rented per night. Rooms are rented with bed linen/towels. Possibility of extra sleeping space on sofa bed in double room. (120 cm) There's a washing machine in the bathroom. Large patio with fireplace and barbecue. The garden is great for play. There is NO living room/living room, but a TV nook in the double room. Secure free parking in the backyard. 5 minutes walk to the center of Mandal. Convenient food shop nearby. Walking distance to many great beaches and a rich cultural life.

10 min from R9. 20 min from Vennesla. 30 min from Kristiansand and 45 min from Kristiansand Zoo. If GPS leads you onto a gravel road about 7 km from the cabin, you must find an alternative route. The road has a barrier at both ends. 100 m from bike route 3. Very fast internet. Outdoor living room with fireplace can be borrowed on request. Swimming area in the river 50 m from the cabin. Many hiking trails. Rowboat can be borrowed from about April to about November. Lots of small fish in the river. No fishing license required.

Only 15 kilometers from Kristiansand City Here you can sit and listen to nature and when the evening comes, only the moon and stars will light up for you! Reconnect with nature at this unforgettable place to stay. The cabin is located by the water, there are two canoes and there is also a solid rowboat. The sauna located by the jetty can be ordered if desired. Free parking about 150 meters from the cabin. Nice fish in the water, no need for a fishing license.

Half hour drive from Kristiansand. Free parking outside. Pergola and patio. 1 room with kitchenette (hot plate/oven, kettle, Moccamaster, toaster, fridge) and two beds. Possibility of mattress on floor. Bed linen and towels available. Separate bathroom with a shower. WiFi and TV w/Chromecast + Apple TV (Netflix, Viaplay, Disney+, Max)

Hel leilighet i 2. etasje. Stor stue med kjøkkenkrok, romslig bad og soverom med dobbeltseng. Stille og naturskjønt. Et godt utgangspunkt for å oppleve Sørlandet med kun ca. 45 min. kjøretur til Kristiansand, Mandal og Evje. Dette er stedet å mellomlande, men også stedet å feriere! Under 1 times kjøring til Dyreparken. 15 minutter til Mandalselva kjent for sitt laksefiske. Mange andre flotte reisemål i nærområdet. Mulighet for å låne gratis robåt i nærmeste innsjø. Mulighet også å leie badestamp og tønnebadstue / sauna mot ekstra betaling. I sauna kan du vaske deg med varmt vann. Plassen passer fint til dem som liker seg I naturen med enkel standard overnatting. I høst/ vintertid fra ca 15.9 - 1.5 er vogna sammen med eget privat kjøkken. Hund tillatt
