Townhouse holiday rentals in Madeira Island

Avons passé un très bon séjour dans ce logement confortable avec vue superbe sur l'océan depuis la chambre et le salon. Plus joli en vrai qu'en photos. Apéros en terrasse face au coucher du soleil ! splendide ! Très propre et bien équipé. Rien ne manquait. Entrée dans les lieux facile grâce à une boîte à clé. Hôte très réactive. Nous recommandons les yeux fermés.

The Funchalet is a really fun apartment! We stayed with our two kids and it had everything we could need during our stay. Well-equipped kitchen for those planning to cook some meals. It is a great location, right in the middle of pedestrian streets in the center of Funchal. Very easy to get to all city attractions. Also close to rental cars for trips around the island. We were grateful for all the little things - umbrellas for use, plenty of electrical outlets, a large drying rack for laundry, and a toilet on each floor! Note that the stairs would be scary if you have young kids (which is clearly stated in the listing). Ours are aged 8 and 10, so no worries for us. Our kids were enamored with the art studio and private balcony on the top level :-). The beds were comfy and the host was very responsive. We would happily stay there again!

We had a great stay! The price-performance ratio was amazing — you really get a lot for what you pay. The host was super helpful and always available, providing us with great travel tips and local recommendations. Check-in and check-out were very flexible; in fact, we were even allowed to stay an extra night since our flight was late at night — that was incredibly kind and helpful. The bathroom was small, but had everything we needed and was more than fine considering the price. Would definitely recommend

The stay here was great! Fernanda, who welcomed us is super kind and always helpful with everything. The house is in a nice location, quiet but very close to the city center (5 min walk) with all the shops and restaurants/ cafes. I can recommend staying here and would come back at any time :)

We hebben een top tijd gehad in deze accommodatie. Het appartement is aan alles voorzien. Daarnaast is het goed beloopbaar naar leuke barretjes en restaurants in de Santa Maria straat. Auto makkelijk te parkeren in de straat langs de weg. De communicatie verliep ook heel goed. Ik zou deze plek zeker aanraden!!

We had a great stay at Karina house! She was incredibly responsive to messages. She helped us find out what would be open on the bank holiday. The house was spotless, and had everything we needed! It was a ten minute drive to Paul del Mar which had lots of restaurants. We also tried Bar Formiga and the poncha was great. Thank you for the amazing stay! It was centrally located to everything we wanted to do! About 20-30 minutes from Porto Moniz and less than an hour to Funchal.

Der Aufenthalt in Susannas wunderschöner Ferienwohnung war alles, was wir uns gewünscht haben. Susanna selbst stand uns gerne mit Rat und Ausflugstipps zur Seite. Das Highlight für die Kinder war mit Sicherheit der Pool. Von der Wohnung aus gelangt man innerhalb weniger Minuten zu verschiedenen Restaurants, kleinen Supermärkten und einem Frühstückscafé. In die Stadt selbst kann man in ca. 20 Minuten spazieren, günstig mit dem Taxi oder dem Bus fahren. Wir kommen gerne wieder.

It was a very nice stay; the house is in the center od Funchal; you can get to some of the cities attractions by foot; the stores are also near and a nice hamburger restaurant is a block away. The house is quite big, it's tidy and clean, the kitchen is well equipped. Everything looks like on the photos. There was a good contact with the owners. It was a good deal for this price.

great place and easy instructions to follow. The view was amazing and the town of Santa Cruz is exactly what we were looking to escape the hustle and bustle of the city!

Nous avons passé un excellent séjour chez Susanna. Logement typique, fonctionnel (avec tous les équipements utiles) et propre. À noter que l’accès en voiture de l’appartement n’est possible que par le bas de rue, et à pieds par le haut car rue en travaux (extension canalisations cause constructions), fort dénivelé pour remonter aux 2 parkings où nous nous sommes garés sans difficultés tous les jours. Réveil avec le chant des oiseaux, belle piscine et végétation luxuriante (magnifiques bougainvillées 😍), salades, bananes qui poussent dans le jardin et qui nous ont été gracieusement proposées 😋, ainsi qu’un panier de fruits frais et d’une bouteille de vin de Madère de bienvenue. Nous nous sommes sentis comme à la maison 🤗. Nous recommandons vivement ce logement d’ailleurs très plébiscité ☺️.

The 4 storey house in Funchal old town is a beautiful place to stay in a fabulous location. It's in walking distance to the sea and all the old streets. The house itself has beautiful wooden floors and staircase - it really feels like an old Madeiran villa. Tatiana responded quickly, helpfully and was very friendly. It was a great place for our family of five.

Belle chambre grande et très propres. Épicerie facilement accessible et très belles cuisine et salle à manger.

Beautiful new spacious house. Modern decor and appliances. Well stocked kitchen with Nespresso machine and milk frother which made great coffees. Looked just like the pictures. Restaurants and grocery stores nearby. Only about 20 minutes from Funchal. Location on the island was great, very central to most of the attractions.

Incredible 2 floors big house with parking. Michelle was friendly and supportive. When we had a problem with coffe machine she gave us her own machine - thank you! It was really amazing stay! P. S. We had little misunderstanding after check out with hosts about damaged doors. We were suprised that they thought that we made it. In fact it had some problem with doorknob before we had came. It looked like a loose doorknob, which happens to doors from time to time. I don't think the hosts were trying to trick us. Probably just didn't notice it before. Despite this incident I give 5 stars and recommend this house. Just let the owners know if you notice any malfunction. Michelle, thank you for your warm welcome.

Joli logement refait à neuf récemment, tout est présent pour retrouver le confort de la maison en vacances. Avelino a pensé à tout! Le ménage était impeccable et notre hôte de bons conseils. Nous sommes venus pour courir le MIUT et nous avions tout le confort nécessaire avant / après la course. Excellent emplacement, tout peut se faire à pied.

Très bon Airbnb, situé dans un village paisible et à proximité des principales randonnées/excursions. José et sa mère sont très amicaux et serviables. Le logement est spacieux et relativement bien équipé. Je recommande à 100%!
