Hotel holiday rentals in Madeira Island

The accommodation offered by Elisa, a house of character, is ideally located about ten minutes walk from the old town and about twenty minutes walk from the port. Everything is easily accessible (tourist curiosities, catering points). The bedroom on the first floor was very nice (comfortable beds, window to the courtyards). Communication with Elisa was fluid. She gave us recommendations and responded promptly to any questions we had. Thank you so much Elisa!!

excellent stay, the house is perfectly located 2 steps from the beach and restaurants, accessible on foot with free parking nearby. everything is arranged with great taste and idea,it's sublime and very well thought out,the common areas are top kitchen with everything you need, terrace,games...and Ruben is really adorable, we loved it, we will come back

Anna's hotel was a very nice place to stay. Breakfast with a 5-star view included, and incredible service. We enjoyed the food and slept well, even though it was a very cold week. The view from the hotelroom to the mountains and see is beautiful. All in all, for the price you pay you get everything you need, plus the knowledge and kindness of Anna. Thank you! We will be back ;)

Everything was good, fitted description and location was amazing

really nice peaceful place in the mountains. the decor in the room is a little dated but everything worked and was clean. Anna is a fantastic host with a lot of great recommendations of what to do. also the restaurant across the road serves delicious food at a reasonable price. It's nice to have it so close to spend an evening when in such a rural location.

The view is stunning, the hotel is very nice, the staff is friendly, the bed is super comfortable, the bathroom is great and the A/C worked perfectly. Can only recommend!

The place was exactly like the pictures. The room was very nice, equipped with everything you need and clean. The highlight of the accommodation is the pool with the beautiful view directly to the sea. Jorge and Rosa always responded very quickly to our messages and gave us tips for the area/excursions. We were able to check in earlier than advertised and everything went smoothly. We highly recommend the place☺️

We had a great time at Jorge's place where there was a lot to do down by the harbor and the place was absolutely stunning- the views were like something out of a picture! Jorge was helpful from booking to check out and greeted us upon arrival. We really appreciated all of the helpful suggestions and insights as we minimally planned our trip before arriving. It was a unique experience and we would absolutely go back!

I had an incredibly relaxing solo stay at this beautiful Airbnb in Madeira! My hosts, Yves and Julie, were warm and attentive – they thought of everything and answered every question I had. Thanks to their great tips and genuine hospitality, I felt welcome from the very first moment. The accommodation itself is an absolute dream: modernly furnished, spotlessly clean, and decorated with charming details. The view from the terrace is simply breathtaking and truly one-of-a-kind—whether it’s watching the sunrise over the Atlantic or the glittering Funchal city lights at night. It was the perfect place for me to unwind and recharge. All in all, a superb feel-good retreat that I wholeheartedly recommend to any solo traveler heading to Madeira. I can’t wait to come back!

The room was very clean and the view from the balcony a dream!

We had three fantastic weeks at this beautiful hideaway. The flat was not modern, but it was so clean and cozy, and the view is superb. The rooms are of good size, and the beds is quite comfortable with soft pillows. The pool is big enough to get some laps done, and had a gorgeous view over Funchal. The staff made us feel welcome, and they were so helpful. We felt safe and we’ll taken care of. We like to walk, so we walked back up from the city everyday, but a taxi is only 5 euros🤓 We are coming back for sure🎉

We chose accommodation in Villa Maria Quinta, which is located in a quiet village, because we don't like the hustle and bustle of the city. Once you get used to the very steep and narrow island roads, it's easy to get with car to any part of Madeira from here. There are numerous hiking trails nearby, as well as a sandy beach. Also nearby are many restaurants with delicious dishes. Funchal is only 36 km away. The villa is very nicely decorated and has everything you need. It is excellent accommodation for larger groups because it has 6 separate cottages-apartments for a total of 12 people.

What an amazing stay we had at the Vila Alto ! The staff is very welcoming, the place is gorgeous. The location is amazing to rest after the long hikes, and is a perfect for relaxing by the pool. The breakfast every morning was a real feast and delicious. A big plus for the sauna and the cats around that were so cute ! Thank you for such a wonderful stay !

From the moment we booked the experience was fantastic. We had such a wonderful time at Yves and Julie. Not only is the residence amazing, both Yves and Julie made us feel very welcome. Very good location near the city. Very clean. the views of funchal from the balcony were to die for! The cookies at check-in were a nice touch. I was almost sad to not have booked the rest of my vacation at this airbnb. thank you!

Pakoj wasn't big, but it was enough, especially since the hostel is close to the center of Funchal. Nice atmosphere, helpful and friendly service.

The room has everything you need to spend, like us, a couple of nights. Comfortable bed, spacious room with large storage capacity in wardrobe. Bathroom with everything you need, small fridge and a small patio for breakfast with beautiful views. Parking is available at the gate. Good location to visit viewpoints, the Areeiro peak, Curral das Freiras, Funchal...Very good communication with Javier.
