Hotel holiday rentals in Madeira Island

The accommodation offered by Elisa, a house of character, is ideally located about ten minutes walk from the old town and about twenty minutes walk from the port. Everything is easily accessible (tourist curiosities, catering points). The bedroom on the first floor was very nice (comfortable beds, window to the courtyards). Communication with Elisa was fluid. She gave us recommendations and responded promptly to any questions we had. Thank you so much Elisa!!

Anna's hotel was a very nice place to stay. Breakfast with a 5-star view included, and incredible service. We enjoyed the food and slept well, even though it was a very cold week. The view from the hotelroom to the mountains and see is beautiful. All in all, for the price you pay you get everything you need, plus the knowledge and kindness of Anna. Thank you! We will be back ;)

our check-in was 12 noon we were allowed to drop off our luggage before and then check-in to the room from 12, and also after that we were allowed to leave our luggage here and pick up the luggage later was very relaxed. really nice peaceful place in the mountains. the decor in the room is a little dated but everything worked and was clean. Anna is a fantastic host with a lot of great recommendations of what to do. also the restaurant across the road serves delicious food at a reasonable price. It's nice to have it so close to spend an evening when in such a rural location.

The view is stunning, the hotel is very nice, the staff is friendly, the bed is super comfortable, the bathroom is great and the A/C worked perfectly. Can only recommend!

The property is in a nice and quiet location. It is super convenient that there is a supermarket and a cafe right in the same house. We were very well received and even accompanied to our room to explain everything to us exactly. The room was very large and beautifully decorated, well appointed and has a great balcony overlooking the sea. Cleanliness is great, every other day is cleaned. Towels and even dishes that are provided will be replaced with clean ones. Highly recommended!

We had a wonderful time at this place! The host was exceptionally attentive, helpful, and always available – you felt welcome and in good hands from the beginning. The apartment itself is beautifully decorated, very clean and designed with a lot of love for detail – a real feel-good place! Overall absolutely recommended – we'd come back anytime!

An exceptionally beautiful complex, very well maintained, beautiful terrace with a panoramic view. There were free rolls every morning.

Jorge and Gabriel are such amazing hosts. They went above and beyond when the airline lost my luggage. Because of the language barrier, they helped us get in contact with the right people. They were so helpful during a stressful time. Also, the location made it really hard to be stressed! It was incredible. Planning to come back soon.

We spent our stay at Calheta Glamping to our complete satisfaction. Carla received us excellently and helped us wherever possible. She has a very relaxed aura around her. The accommodation is also great. A few minor improvements, such as the dishwashing brush that needs to be replaced, a hole in the bed linen sheet, but these are not worth mentioning. So, we give it five stars.

Beautiful accommodation! Amazing location. small downside for the evening, with the restaurant I thought we could have dinner but the restaurant has the sole purpose of breakfast (which is incredible by the way!). i recommend+++

Wow! What a fantastic stay. The house is absolutely perfect - fabulous views, peaceful terrace, beautiful infinity pool and spotless. It’s a great location as easy to access all sites Madeira has to offer and a quick drive into town (Funchal). Yves and Julie really made this stay with their warm welcome, exceptional recommendations and above and beyond hospitality (including a delicious breakfast). Would highly recommend to anyone visiting Madeira. 💯

We absolutely loved our stay!! First time in Madeira for us and this location was a perfect mixture of privacy, views and accessibility. It was it a quieter area without being too far from anything. The staff were so friendly and having breakfast as an add on option was perfect. Would definitely return and recommend this stay for anyone coming to Madeira.

Peaceful stay. Great host. Javier was very responsive and helped us a lot even on the last day there. The view is awesome when there are no clouds, but keep in mind that you would need a car or motorcycle to get there since the bus is pretty rare around that part. The location is also on the way to Nun's Path.
