Pet-friendly holiday rentals in Madeira Island

Everything perfect! Agnieszka is a very hard-working, attentive and warm hostess! The Airbnb was sparkling clean and equipped with absolutely EVERYTHING you could need. She even took the time to show the somewhat more delicate journey to the Airbnb, which is not a problem later, if you are a good driver.😉 In the middle of banana trees, you have your peace and can enjoy the roof terrace for yourself. I'm already looking forward to booking this gem again! Absolute recommendation for anyone who wants to enjoy nature in peace! Thank you Agnieszka!

Amazing view, nice and clean, looked exactly like the photos. Nice touches with the Madeira wine, bananas and coffee pods. Well fit out kitchen. Would stay here again if I’m ever back in Madeira!

We (two couples) had a wonderful week in this beautiful house. The house is a little more spacious than we thought. Nice view. Lovely swimming pool. On this slope, clouds sometimes prevented the sun from showing itself. You have to take the car to get to restaurants. Hosts always responded quickly to a message from us. All in all recommended!

Beautiful house. The driveway is easy to miss if you're not paying close attention the first time. Well equipped kitchen. Next to a walking trail by the sea. Well situated to drive to other attractions around the island. Fanal forest, P Moniz, Santana, PR16, were not far away.

Sofia met us at the square upon arrival in Jardim do Mar and walked us to the house. She showed us where everything was and made sure we were well settled. We loved that the kitchen was well equipped for real cooking! We enjoyed meals on the beautiful patio. We felt extremely safe in the area. Our 7 year old daughter could walk to our friends' home around the corner (we would never let her do that at home). The beds were comfortable and towels were well stocked. We also loved having a washing machine and clothes line. We would definitely stay there next time we visit our friends!

Richard welcomed us warmly and showed us the accommodation, as well as gave us tips for excursions. There was a folder with more information and tips in the accommodation. He was always easy to reach and responded immediately. We had a wonderful stay. The house looks like the pictures and everything was very clean and well maintained.

The house was exactly as described — clean, spacious, and very comfortable. Everything was well prepared for our arrival, and the check-in process was smooth and easy. The kitchen was fully equipped, the beds were very comfortable, and the whole place had a cozy, welcoming atmosphere. The location was perfect — quiet and peaceful, yet close to local shops, restaurants, and everything we needed. We especially enjoyed the outdoor space (great for morning coffee or relaxing in the evening). The host was extremely friendly and responsive, always ready to help or answer any questions. You can really tell they care about their guests and put a lot of thought into making the stay enjoyable. We would definitely stay here again and highly recommend this place to anyone visiting the area

Mariela is a very friendly and hard-working hostess. She was always really quick to get in touch with. The apartment is beautiful and everything you need is available. Very clean and the intermediate cleaning was also great. We can only recommend the property.

WOW! The view alone was worth the money. It’s hard to stress how amazing it was to sit outside every morning and evening and enjoy the view. Inside was also very well decorated and very clean. The area was quiet and felt safe. Not a huge deal, but the bathroom only came with one role of toilet paper. Other than that inconvenience, the service was incredible. Our host gave us so many local recommendations.

Very nice clean studio with a little kitchen with all amenities. Beautiful views from the balcony to the ocean and a part of the city. Calm. Elisabete was very friendly and responsive .

Beautiful and very secluded place. The view from the house is amazing & the garden was so beautiful to relax in. The house itself was great. Kitchen wasn’t huge but we made it work - only difficulty was opening the oven door and getting stuff out when it’s so close to the fridge. The road up to the place was very steep and winding, but we managed fine in our car rental. It was tricky parking on the drive so we opted to park across the road instead which was absolutely fine. The home isn’t in walking distance to anything but it was nice to have dinner and the evening at the Airbnb, to enjoy the space :) Would defo stay here again.

Excellent stay. The apartment is spacious and has a wonderful deck overlooking the harbor at Camara do Lobo. The town was a pleasant surprise also. It is not busy like Funchal but had plenty of eating options and a pretty harbor. The private parking space and washing machine were big pluses also.

We had a wonderful stay at Paula's villa. Everything is done to make you feel good. The location is great, quiet, close to the sights, you have a lot of information given by Paula who is very friendly, responsive and caring. I highly recommend it.

Lovely apartment, very modern and well equipt with a beautiful terrace that overlooks the ocean and a nice pool area that is shared with 3 other apartments. We had a great time here and location was close to the main coastal road to do many day trips. Be carful with the road to the house, if you are not an experienced driver, it is quite steep. All in all a lovely place to stay!

Exceptional stay in Porto Moniz! The apartment is ideally located, in the centre, close to the natural pools and restaurants. The accommodation is clean, well equipped and very comfortable. The host is welcoming, available and gives good advice for discovering the region. This is the perfect place to fully enjoy the beauty of the north coast of Madeira. We strongly recommend! Loved our stay at Nuno & Rubina’s apartment, the location was perfect, nestled right in the heart of Funchal. It was super clean and tidy and had just been updated compared to the photos from when we booked, which was a nice surprise. The hosts were extremely responsive, helpful and friendly and sent lots of useful tips and recommendations for exploring Madeira. Would definitely stay here again and recommend to anyone looking for a great base to explore such a beautiful island. Thanks!

We had a great time at Susana's place. The accommodation is great, the view is beautiful, and very well located to explore the 4 corners of the island. Quiet while being close to Funchal. Parking is a must. Communication with Susana was very smooth and pleasant, we also had the opportunity to meet her husband several times during our stay who was very friendly and gave us good advice in addition to a warm welcome. Thank you for the excellent fruit! We would 100% recommend this listing!

Dream home, super clean and completely new: balcony and terrace with 365° view, beautiful reading room and cinema, spacious, clean and hyper-equipped kitchen/living room. The house really offers all the comforts and is taken care of in every detail (first time I find not only a bath foam, shampoo, towels, etc., but also oil, various salt and spices, plastic/food wrap, coffee and everything else that facilitates the stay from arrival). Rodrigo and Rossana are really special hosts and always ready to help. We only booked a couple of weeks before the stay and the apartment was one of the few remaining available at a reasonable price: after entering, we were amazed by the value for money, I would say unbeatable for Funchal, even considering that the apartment can accommodate up to 4/5 people! Absolutely recommended, and if I ever go back to Madeira (beautiful), I will definitely try to rebook this apartment

If parking is not available in the town lot drive down to the swimming pier and find the apartment via the promenade with some sleuthing. Great sunsets plus being so close to the water and sky makes this location special. Loved this space.

Orlandina is a fantastic host, always quick to respond and providing all the necessary information well in advance. I felt very welcomed, and the apartment offers a stunning view. I never had any trouble finding parking and always felt secure in the area. Additionally, there was no noise from the neighbors. I would highly recommend Orlandina as a host.

If you're looking for a quiet area to get away from the crowds in the cities this is a wonderful place. It's nestled in the mountain valleys near Ponta do Prago but quite near the ocean. We loved our 6 day stay at Frederica 's. She provided good, clear instructions to get there. She also gave us very useful information on local attractions, restaurants and supermarkets. The house is on a very steep pitched road so walking up and down it can be a challenge ( we are in our 70's ) We did it a few times. There is a walk from her house to the waterfalls . It took us about 2 hrs. Rnd-trip but it was well worth it. If we were to return we'd go back in April or later.
