Kid-friendly holiday rentals in Lunteren

This is Airbnb as it was intended to be. A kind and helpful host, wonderful house and all around great experience. We traveled with 5 adults and 2 small kids. Sorin’s house was perfectly appointed for everyone to have a great stay. The kids loved the playroom, back garden and all the fun toys. The included bikes (including a cargo bike) made exploring and trips to the train station easy and fun. The house is very comfortable and spacious allowing us to spread out and also spend time together. The neighborhood is very quiet and seems very safe. If you are considering this as an option within easy striking distance to Amsterdam, do it. The train is an €15 round trip.

We had a very pleasant week with our 3 teenagers in Merel's house. It's a real home of life (unlike cold Airbnb and only made for renting), very well decorated and comfortable. Everything is done to make you feel good. The hot tub is nice. Amsterdam is a 25 minute drive (we used Parkbee parking). Very good supermarket 5 minutes by car, 15 minutes by foot. We also visited Rotterdam, a nice surprise more contemporary and less touristy than Amsterdam. Merel is proactive in her communication. She wants everything to go smoothly. We recommend!

We spent a few days in Diemen: Fons' place was spectacular. Cozy, clean, spacious spaces. Founded a magnificent landlord: always available with tips and directions, he made us feel at home, leaving us 4 bicycles (there were 4 of us) and many comforts in the house. The rooms were exactly as pictured: the house gave a sense of warmth, as if we were from a friend. There was everything beyond the usual tea and coffee: it's a sign of great and generous hospitality, which we really appreciated. A small problem with the dishwasher, but Fons was very helpful with us and took care of everything. We recommend this 5-star home: clean, cared for, and welcoming. This makes the trip to Amsterdam very pleasant and relaxing. Priceless fund, also 5 stars to the host :)

Very convenient for central Amsterdam - very spacious, safe quiet area with really good transport links

Simply perfect! The listing is true to description and photos and includes everything you need to feel at home! The kids were delighted to find toys there too. The laundry room with the washing machine and dryer is super convenient. The bedding is very comfortable, comfortable, clean. The garden has a trampoline, much appreciated by the children and a cabin with a zip line. We were also able to take advantage of the bikes available to go around the lake which is right next door. Nearby there is also an outdoor playground, restaurant, small indoor playground with bouncy castles, bowling alley and pool. In short, the house and the place where it is located is the perfect place to come and spend a wonderful family vacation! The next time we stay in the Netherlands, this is where we'll be back. The AirBnB corresponds to the photos published by Job. The house is very spacious and provides you with everything you need to get away for the weekend and relax. Due to the proximity of the place to the Hilversum train station it is well connected to Amsterdam and Utrecht. We enjoyed our stay to the fullest and had a great time!

We had a comfy stay at Jelle's! No complaints or displeasures, everything was quite clean and accurate to the description in the listing. Instructions for check-in was clear. Maybe would be good to provide 2 sets of keys instead of just 1. Location is 2min walk from a bus stop, easy to take a 10-15min bus ride to Centraal. Living room area in particular was very pleasant! we were worried that privacy was going to be an issue, but Jelle had blinds and privacy filters on the windows, so we felt at ease. Washing machine and dryer are easy to use too. Thank you for the pleasant stay!

Nice quiet neighborhood, loved the added touch of fresh tulips!

The apartment is sunny and bright, clear of clutter, well lit, and so nice to be in. From the get go, Armand was incredibly responsive, and if there was anything I needed or had a question about, he was right on it. The location is also terrific, close to transit, can walk to so much, beautiful parks nearby, shopping, etc. It made for a wonderful "home" while in Amsterdam. Bedankt Armand! - Nina

Very nice apartment, located in a quiet area near the Oosterpark. A large terrace very nice for the evenings. All 15 min by bike from the train station, museums... Thank you Petra for hosting us and trusting us.

It's a really special place. The house feels like the 17th C beauty it is, but there is nothing janky or tired about it. A lot of very thoughtful work has been put in. It is light-filled, beautifully cared-for, and perfectly incorporates all modern luxeries. The house is on a quiet street just a few blocks from the center. We had a terrific week there, can't recommend it more highly.

Clean and cozy just like we expected. The location to vondelpark was superb. Easy to find and a beautiful street. Felt safe staying there.

I would like to write wonderful things about the house itself, the neighborhood, and Mr. Jorrit — each of them was truly excellent. The kitchen was perfectly equipped, and the beds were extremely comfortable. The house was peaceful, full of natural light, and surrounded by greenery — it felt like the sun and nature were part of the home. Every detail had been meticulously thought through and designed solely to make guests feel happy and welcome. There were even umbrellas and lovely slippers at the entrance. The bed linen was top quality, and everything was spotless. The neighborhood was quiet, spacious, and very decent. Great restaurants, cafes, and parks were just a short walk away — and the city center was only about 20 minutes on foot. Mr. Jorrit was incredibly helpful and responded very quickly. Most importantly, he had already thought of everything we might need and left informative and thoughtful notes throughout the house. Many thanks.

Perfect place to stay. All what can be necessary is available at the place. Very clean and nice. A lot of beautiful places around. Very kind and helpful owners. Definitely recommend.

Where to begin? The location is devine, it is on the fourth canal so it’s still touristy but feels like a more local experience. It is right across from this gorgeous church and the bells sound lovely. I actually feel like this Airbnb is underrated. Could I give it 6 stars? The pictures of the Airbnb don’t have a good photo of the back courtyard, but it had lovely birds chirping and parrots as well as purple, orange, and red flowers. One night my mom and I had a dinner out there and it was splendid. The location is also almost right across from the Anne Frank Hous and I can’t believe the reviews don’t reflect that because it was so convenient getting to. I’m also an avid runner and the area, although full of pedestrians and bikers, was the perfect runners paradise. There was so much to see and it made me feel like I got to know the city more intimately. The host was also so nice when we first arrived and told us about all the amazing things Amsterdam has to offer!

Excellent place to stay !

We had very nice days in Amsterdam - and the apartment is super quiet, but the city center is still easily accessible. We felt very comfortable and the playground opposite our children was a lot of fun. Thanks to the hosts, they were always available very friendly! I'd love to come back!!

John’s Airbnb was perfect for our little getaway with our daughter (2 yo). John provided a high chair and crib for her and she had her own little room which she slept very well in. The Airbnb was quiet especially considering its location! The US WiFi is a little weak especially in the bedrooms but the other options is solid. The stairs up to the unit are very steep. We left the stroller by the front door and relied on the elevator (warning it’s small and slow). But overall, it was a really great place and we had an excellent time.

Stein was a great host who went over and above what would be expected of a host. The studio is very close to rail link that takes 5min to Arnhem and about 10min to Nijmegen. The apartment has is very clean and modern and has similar facilities to a hotel room - mini fridge etc, and local shops can provide breakfast - dining out in Arnhem has limitless options with every taste catered for. Great stay and an ideal base to explore this historic part of Holland.
