Monthly Rentals in Low Brunton

This was a fantastic place to base ourselves for walking Hadrian’s wall, visiting the archaeological sites, touring Hexham and its wasn’t too far from Seahouses and Bamburgh castle. It was lovely to return to this delightful little cottage in a very peaceful village. The cottage has everything we needed to cook evening meals and was close to some good restaurants.

Ben was an amazing host, we had such a lovely time at The Snug. When we first arrived, classical radio was playing in the corner, there were croissants and prosecco sitting on the bench, and a lovely greeting card was sat next to them, welcoming us. Ben was in constant communication with us on the lead-up to our stay, offering lots of advice about local amenities and things to do local to the premises. He was also gracious enough to give us a late check-out, which did not go amiss, gave us extra time to make some breakfast and clean up before we set off. Overall, we had a lovely stay at The Snug and we will definitely be looking at staying again in future! Thank you Ben!

Booked Sammy’s place originally for my parents but unfortunately due to ill-health there were unable to make the journey up from Manchester however, I was delighted when my sister said that she was available. Sammy’s place is a hidden gem. I personally live in Hexham and cannot recommend Ian & Susan’s beautiful Accommodation any stronger than this, ‘Quite simply, the best accommodation in Hexham’. The location is perfect to get around the town, especially if you have difficulty walking as it is literally situated a stones through from the high street. There is plenty to do in Hexham being spoilt for choice when it comes to local Independant shops, a theatre, cinema, multiple pubs, bars and restaurants as well as the gorgeous Sele Park and surrounding area. Sammy’s place is a great place to stay with everything you need to feel completely at home; love this place and Susan & Ian are the perfect hosts. Atte Combe was a brilliant place to stay while we explored Northumberland by car, the location is excellent and within 10 minutes to any amenities. We loved the house, especially the decor, and the beds were very comfortable. The bathroom was well stocked and the shower worked very well. The kitchen also was well stocked with hot drinks and even milk on our first day. Angela even left some lemon cake and cheese scones which were delicious and much appreciated after a long journey. The folder under the table inspired several of our trips, including one to a local curry house! Thank you for a brilliant stay and holiday! Sam, Joy, Andy and Nat
