John is a great host and we enjoyed spending a little time with him once in awhile. The place was as described and a good starting off place each morning.

Clark was incredibly accommodating the house was beautiful & just like photos. He provided a google doc which helped us get around, as we didn’t know London well. Clark was so quick to respond to any and all questions we had & overall a kind & lovely host who definitely went above and beyond. We were greeted with a lovely message & made feel right at home immediately. We felt incredibly safe in both the house and area. The amenities were beyond what was described, which was greatly appreciated Overall an amazing stay and couldn’t have asked for a better experience. Thank you so much Clark!

We loved our stay! The location is ideal for someone who wants a laidback, peaceful spot in a charming part of East London. An array of shops and restaurants is within a 10-15 minute walk and many more are accessible via an easy bus or tube ride. Victoria Park is a nearby oasis and bordering Regent’s Canal is an equally lovely place to stroll. Last but not least, we adored the cheery pink door and the enclosed patio garden!

We had a quick but lovely stay. The house is super cute and cozy and well located. Karen and her family were very friendly and made us feel at home. We are definitely coming back next year.

Eugenie’s house was absolutely beautiful. It really is vintage heaven & the beds were very comfortable. The neighbourhood was peaceful with great transport links. I would definitely stay there again!

Daniele’s place is a solid stay—communicative and helpful host, well equipped accommodation with the essentials, lively neighborhood close to transit and things to do, and comfortable beds with extra linens. We stayed with a toddler and found it relatively easy to baby proof. It is a very lively neighborhood so we did experience some noise from parties and foot traffic but that was the trade off for being so close to cafes, bars, and shops.

Paul and Angela's cottage was perfect for our short stay. The location is in a very quiet location yet within walking distance of all the places we wanted to visit in Greenwich and near great transport links to Central London. The cottage itself has everything you need for a comfortable stay. As mentioned in other reviews there is a narrow spiral staircase as clearly shown in the pictures but our 6 year old managed this just fine and we were able to take our cases up. Paul and Angela answered any queries quickly and were kindly able to accommodate requests to leave luggage at the cottage pre/post check in/out times so we could make the most of our short stay. We would certainly stay again and recommend to others.

The four of us enjoyed our stay at Julia's place. It's a great location, and so near to excellent public transportation. The house is on a quiet, tree-lined street with a lovely view of the quay: very peaceful. Decor is modern and fresh, and the kitchen is well-equipped. I messaged our host a few times with questions, and always received a prompt and satisfactory answer. It was only a few minutes walk to the Tesco Supermarket, a shopping center, and a few places to eat. A ten minute walk brought us to the Canada Water tube station where we got the Jubilee Line and easily traveled around London. It was a real treat staying there instead of a hotel. I highly recommend this property.

The flat is in walking distance to a lot of places including Greenwich and close to bus and train services. it is close to a plethora of cafes, restaurants and supermarkets. Antonio was responsive to any questions that I had during and before my stay within a short time. The flat is near to my family, so I'll definitely keep him in mind for future stays. How to start?? I would highly recommend Charles' place! When you get there and go up the stairs, you might think it's not going to be good. However, when you open the door you'll be taken back as to how beautiful his place is!! I felt right at home! Charles had wine, milk, OJ, bread and eggs. The sleigh bed was not only comfy but so pretty. He had great darkening curtains which also serve as a divider from the living room. The shower was welcoming. If I come back to London, I'd stay at Charles' place!

Thank you Sabreena. We had an amazing time in Forest Hill. It was the perfect mix of city and rest and relaxation. It is a really easy walk to the station to get into central London. However the local restaurants are also really good. The house is so spacious, with comfy beds and a great shower. The parking space was also a real plus for the area. Thank you Sabreena for being a great host! We will definitely be back.

This house was very comfortable. We had everything we needed at Battersea. It was very clean just like the pictures show. It had quite space for all of us easy to get in get out and also the subway underneath was very easy to access. Faisal was very helpful we would book again whenever we come to London thank you for everything.

Great location - the apartment was in excellent condition, modern, and well-equipped with everything I needed. Silvia who checked me in and showed me the facilities (spa facilities, lovely swimming pool, gym,...) was lovely. The location was ideal, with easy access to public transport, shops, and restaurants. Having stayed with StarHost before, I can confidently say their service remains outstanding. I'll definitely book this place again in the future when in London.

Jodi’s home is a great place to stay. We were going to a wedding at Hackney Town Hall and could walk easily there and to the restaurant afterwards. It’s also beautifully located looking out at London Fields. The home was well provided for, we had everything we needed and so much more. We loved the decor, there was so much to see and read. Thank you Jodi, you were so helpful too and we loved your home.

Maggie’s place was fantastic—the perfect place for exploring Borough Market and beyond! The apartment was very clean and tidy. It was also beautifully decorated and such a relaxing place to unwind after our busy day out. The hot tub was a massive bonus—talk about luxury! Responses from the host(s) were prompt, friendly, and informative, answering any and all of my questions. We truly appreciated the effort Maggie & co put in to making our stay comfortable. We had 5 perfect days in London at Biancas. The flat is newly renovated, spotlessly clean and exactly as described. We were particularly pleased about the coffee machine with capsules. The location is very well connected, with breakfast options nearby. Bianca was always available, friendly and helpful - electricity adapter, thinner blanket and even did the washing when the machine broke down (a new one has been ordered). Quietly located on the top floor, accessible via a shared staircase. You are completely independent and have everything you need. The bed was very comfortable, everything furnished with love. Check-in/check-out went smoothly. A highlight: Brian the dog - totally cute! We would recommend the apartment to anyone who wants to explore London and doesn't have a problem with a few steps. We had a lovely stay at Paolo’s flat! Check in was flexible, rooms were clean and when asked, we even got more towels (which was lovely!). The host was always responsive and really nice! Location was amazing as well, you could see the tower bridge 2 corners away. Also the harbour near the flat had amazing food opportunities like delicious breakfast. Would highly recommend the place and thanks to Paolo and friends for the hospitality :)

Had a lovely time at Marcela's place, it was close to lots of things but also incredibly peaceful for some nice R&R!

Lovely apartment, exactly as described, can’t fault it, great location with lots of bars and places to eat and also 2 lovely parks to walk in, only a about 10 minute tube to the centre of London, Pat was very communicative and easy to reach if you needed him but everything was ok so we didn’t really need to, would definitely without a doubt stay again!! In all a brilliant 2 day stay !!

This was the perfect place to stay for us and would highly recommend . Clean and well maintained with nice outdoor area. The area itself is quiet and yet easily accessible to London Fields and Haggerston Stations and other modes of public transport.

Stayed here for three weeks, the place had everything you need and smooth checkin and communication. Thanks for having us

Very nice stay in this apartment. We were 2 adults with two children. The apartment is well located close to a large shopping centre and 2 metro stations as well as a river station. Large selection of restaurants in the shopping centre, as well as the possibility of shopping. Nice view, especially in the evening, of the beautiful skyscrapers around and the Thames. We enjoyed London and were happy to return to this quieter neighbourhood in the evening. The host is very kind and accommodating and we were able to communicate without any problems. Only small downside was the noise of the sky train with the window open... but very good stay and beautiful memories.
