Kid-friendly holiday rentals in Lindau

The apartment was perfectly appointed. Wonderful views, extremely comfortable and all the home comforts needed. A short and very pretty walk into town, where there are several nice restaurants and places for coffee and drinks . The view from the balcony is stunning. Britta was a super a helpful host, assisting us with restaurants and local information. Highly recommended and would definitely return.

Spectacular location and a house that matches.. we had a lovely time, very well designed and built house, takes fully advantage of the beautiful scenery out side, highly recommended.. PS.. this applies for only during May-June ‘25 as the road in front of the house is getting repaired, it is important to note that there is only walking access to the house. This means that guests will need to carry their luggage for certain sections of the route from the parking lot.. just to provide clarity there is no option to drag your wheeled luggage to the house, it will need to be carried. Just wanted to provide this clarity as I thought this was assumed by us.. although the host had communicated to use about the access but this aspect was not clarified.

We spent 4 great days here with 6 people! The house is very nicely located, offers a wonderful view and is ideal for hiking trips or simply for switching off. The house is very large and spacious, each of us had a single room available, there are also many parking spaces and a bus stop is right next to the house. The large terrace with barbecue and deck chairs as well as the light-flooded dining/living room are the gem of the house. The in-house, well-equipped fitness centre, together with the sauna, is the icing on the cake! The kitchen is basically very well equipped, coffee machine including beans as well as microwave and toaster available. Vinegar/oil and many spices are also very helpful. Glasses, cutlery and crockery, as well as knives in all sizes are also there. Large refrigerator with freezer and dishwasher also great. The cleanliness was okay but not outstanding.

We stayed at Eden Cottage for 3 nights in mid June, as a family of 4 adults and our dog. Big thanks to our host Martina, who was very prompt and supportive with any of our requests. Checking into the house was very easy, and all house rules were clearly communicated. A Things-To-Do folder made it easy for spontaneous activity ideas. The house is well located in the countryside of Stein am Rhein, and is very close to supermarkets. The railway station, Rhine river and old town are within 10-15 minutes walking distance. The house itself is ideal for 4 people and a pet. All amenities are available, and the interior decor is great and thoughtful. The large garden is beautiful with many plants and trees. Our dog really enjoyed himself exploring around the garden. Overall, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and will definitely visit again!

We had 4 great days in Bregenz. Annemarie greeted us immediately with a still-warm cake. The house leaves nothing to be desired. The beds (mattresses) are very good. The kitchen is well equipped. The house is easy to find and is located directly adjacent to a hiking trail to the Pfänder. The city centre of Bregenz can be reached in about 10 minutes on foot. The view of Lake Constance is amazing.

Franziska's place is beautiful surrounded by pure nature. The house had everything we needed to just stay in the house and relax. The views are truly breathtaking. Franziska is responsive, friendly, and kind. I would definitely recommend her place. However, I wouldn't recommend to older people or people with physical disadvantages only because of the 15 min walk up the hill. It does take effort, but we loved it! We will definitely be coming back!

Pros: This place is beautiful. It's exactly like the pictures. It was very relaxing and enjoyable. Cons: The google map directions took us down a bike path that we were clearly not supposed to be on and that path dead ended so we couldn't get through. We had to back up and navigate our way back up to the main road and disregard the map directions and figure it out another way. The real road/bike path that did allow us to get to the house was filled with bikers who seemed angry that we were on the path in the first place even though there was no other way to get to the carport. So, that was stressful every time we had to leave or return. Aside from that this place is wonderful. We highly recommend it!

Ilona & Andrej were super easy to reach, the area is great and it is quiet. The apartment exceeded our expectations. There were three of us and we would book again at any time.

The lake views were outstanding. Petra was always available for us and we were very well informed. Thanks!

We felt very comfortable with Doris this week. The apartment is located in the beautiful Lotzbeckpark. You can hear the birds singing and at night the noise of the waves from Lake Constance. The apartment is small but very nice and has everything it needs for a relaxing holiday. We will be happy to come back.

Iwona and Martin's apartment, is an attic apartment without a balcony but with the large windows, you feel as if the apartment is completely open. The apartment is actually completely furnished, you can set up additional beds and the kitchen has several utensils for almost all cooking skills. Public transport is in the immediate vicinity, so you can do a lot without using a car. Because you are right by the lake, several restaurants and bars are within walking distance. Thx

We had a very pleasant time in Noah's spacious apartment. Our expectations have been fully met. The garden and terrace are beautiful. The house is situated in a quiet residential area. We were able to comfortably accommodate our bicycles in the shed. The immediate neighbour upstairs was also very nice and helpful. The available internet connection is well suited for home office activities. The island of Lindau is within easy walking distance of the accommodation. We were able to take beautiful bike tours in the area around Lindau. Noah was always available and responded promptly to our requests before and during our stay. If we travel to Lindau again, we would book Noah's accommodation again.

It was a stay made very easy. It's so central and nice to get to the water and all restaurants are in reach. Robert has been very easy to contact and the apartment was super comfortable and very clean. They welcomed us with a little chocolate treat waiting on the kitchen table, felt super welcome!

We were able to enjoy 3 very nice days with the lovely hosts. After a friendly welcome and a thorough check-in, we were well informed about the accommodation and all the possibilities. The pool and the nearby Rhine were ideal for cooling off. In addition to the comfortable bed, we also appreciated the other high-quality amenities. Everything was perfect from A to Z. We had a great stay at Marcus and Lana's place. The apartment is lovely, and it was spotless. The location is great, especially for wine lovers, as there are many wineries accessible on foot! ;) There was a private parking space, and the location allows you to reach many tourist points on the Bodensee by car quite quickly. The neighbourhood is very peaceful. We did not bike, but the location seemed great for it, and there was even a bike rental nearby. Overall, we had a great time and we would come back again. Definitely recommend it!

We spent 3 nights in Simone and Sascha's apartment. The apartment is very modern and leaves nothing to be desired in terms of furnishings. The hosts are very nice and gave us recommendations for restaurants and hiking trails in the area right after check-in. We would have liked to have stayed longer. Overall, we enjoyed the short holiday very much and felt completely comfortable in the apartment.

The apartment is great. Unfortunately, I was not well on arrival (we were only passing through on our way home) and then we decided to drive home :-( Nevertheless, everyone was very kind and understanding.

We booked to spend a weekend with friends. Thomas's accommodation is perfect, charming and well-equipped. It takes a little more than ten minutes to walk to the centre, but the place is quiet and the view of the lake is breathtaking.

Gabriela's accommodation was really very clean and plenty of towels were also provided. In addition, the check-in was smooth and fast. Gabriela is a very friendly host and you could always write to her if there was something with the apartment. She gave us many tips for our stay in Bregenz. There is nothing negative to say. 😊☀️

If I could, it would award 10 stars. You feel at home with Barbara and Sepp. The apartment is tastefully decorated and super clean. The facilities leave nothing to be desired. Keep it up and thank you for a few wonderful days in your apartment.
