Small Paradise above the Walensee

A beautiful old countryside home, lovely furnished in a paradise-like setting. The house is perfect for people who are looking to get a break from the big, loud world or would like to discover the beautiful Swiss mountains by foot. If you are coming by public transport you will need to hike one hour on a very beautiful hiking path (Weesen - Quinten). If you decide to come by car you will only need to hike 15min from the parking lot to the house. We highly recommend to wear good hiking shoes.

Enclosed apartment with its own enclosed bedrooms, bathroom and kitchen on the 2nd floor of our house. On the 1st floor and on the ground floor, my wife and I have our premises. Please note: To access your Airbnb apartment, you will use a shared house entrance with us and our premises will also pass through our premises on the ground floor. If you want to use one of the 2 terraces, you can also reach them through our living room on the ground floor.

Our apartment is located 4km from the beautiful Lindau. It offers the ideal starting point for trips to Lake Constance, Allgäu, Austria or Switzerland. Extensive walks are possible from the apartment in the adjacent forest. It is also well located for hiking, biking, motorcycling, swimming or skiing. An Edeka market with a bakery that is also open on Sundays is a few minutes away. There is a good Thai restaurant nearby.

Apartment small but nice

Our house is on the outskirts of the village center. A big old birch is the landmark in our garden. The stately wooden house was built 140 years ago in Biedermeier style and has been little changed in all these years. It still reflects a forward-looking and cosmopolitan generation. With this in mind, we welcome guests from near and far.
