There is a car road all the way up to the cabin throughout the year, and good parking. This is a perfect starting point for trips in Jotunheimen and the surrounding mountain areas. In winter, there is a cross-country ski trail just behind the cabin, and you can take on alpine skiing just outside the cabin door and run to the alpine resort. The cabin is beautifully located also for hunting, fishing and total relaxation.

This cozy cabin is located at the small farm Reiremo which is at the entrance to Heimfjellet. It is 6 km to Lalm from here, and 6 km down to Heidal. The cabin is surrounded by beautiful nature with hiking opportunities to all sides. There is also an extensive trail network with driven ski slopes not far from the cabin. The area also has hunting and fishing opportunities. The cabin has six beds, a room with a family bunk and a single bed and a room with a double bed, and otherwise what you need to enjoy a stay with us.

Dette skjedde under kristninga av Norge. På gården finnes den hellige brønnen "Olavskilden". Kjøreavstand til Oslo er 250 km og det samme til Trondheim. You will stay in Øverstuggu, one of about 50 buildings in the historical Kvarberg farm.
