We have a lovely Bed and Breakfast apartment with space for coziness both indoors and outdoors. You get your own kitchen, bathroom, living room, bedroom and if you have an electric car, you can charge it with us. The apartment has its own entrance to a beautiful garden with the possibility of both entertainment and relaxation. You will find everything from garden furniture, hammock and outdoor activities in the form of games and a trampoline. There are several cozy nooks that you are welcome to use, just as there is a Mexican fireplace and barbecue in the garden. Free parking in front of the house.

WELCOME to a stay in our beautiful apartment, which is located in the fantastic nature, right up the forest and with several lakes in the area - including a short distance to Østre Søbad, where you can swim all year round. There is also a sauna in connection with the sea bath. We live in the middle of Søhøjlandet and have a 10-minute drive to Silkeborg city centre. There are 2 km to Pizzeria and shopping in Virklund. There is wifi in the house, but no TV as we invite you to enjoy peace and good nature experiences. There is underfloor heating throughout the home.

Less than 5 minutes walk from the forest, from the lake, from the city centre and from the railway station. And a 5-minute drive from the motorway: Our cozy annex is located in the central "Sydbyen" in Silkeborg - the city's old working-class district. Here you are close to everything, and yet placed in a peaceful pearl. You can use the garden, the courtyard and the annex's own covered terrace. There is free parking on the property, the possibility of charging an electric car, and if you want to work "from home" there is both WiFi and LAN in the annex.

Beautiful surroundings on a nature property

Newly renovated large and bright room on 1 floor with fantastic views (and with the possibility of 2 extra beds in addition to double bed) and newly renovated smaller room with vaulted ceilings on the ground floor - also with nice views and double bed. There is also a large living room with the possibility of "cinema" hygge with large canvas, a game of table football or just pure relaxation with a good book. The bathroom is on the ground floor. There is a nice sofa bed and good box mattresses.

Boligen er en del af en 3-længet gård med egen indgang og lukket have med tilhørende terrasse. Boligen ligger i landlige omgivelser med udsigt over marker men tæt ved indkøb og Silkeborg by. Boligen ligger helt op ad landevejen men har lydisolerede vinduer. Men støj fra trafik må forventes- særligt i hverdagene, hvor der kører lastbiler og traktore og ved høsttid. If you want to experience Denmark from its beautiful and quiet side, then “Vidkærhøj” is the place for you. The home is part of our property from the 1870s, and was originally an old barn, which we have lovingly restored over the past few years. It is centrally located between Aarhus, Silkeborg and Skanderborg. It is high up here, and if you like, our dog, Aggie, would love to greet you, just as our cats, chickens and rooster are also very curious. We can’t wait to host you 🤗

Et lille hyggeligt hus som er nyrenoveret i 2024 med stor græsplæne og gode parkerings mugligheder og meget rolige og smukke omgivelser. Welcome to our cozy one room apartment in the countryside. The apartment is located in a separate annex in connection with our house (we have two apartments in the same annex). So you have your own place with a fully equiped kitchen, a bathroom, a terrace and a small green space. The terrace and the green space is shared with the other apartment in the annex. Enjoy some relaxing days in peace and quiet. We look forward to meeting you.

The apartment is 40 m2 and is an extension to my house. The house is centrally located in Silkeborg in a very quiet neighborhood. There is a 5-minute walk to the train station, the city and the forest. There is a private entrance, free parking and access to the terrace and garden. The apartment is ideal for 2 people, but with a sofa bed in the living room, more people can stay.
