Holiday rentals with beach access in Leiden

Laura and her husband Arjan were the perfect hosts! Arjan served us breakfast each morning which included a basket of fresh bread, fruits and cheese. Arjan provided us with great recommendations and most especially - showed us how to use the tram system! It is a lovely apartment and they made us feel very welcome.

Linda is a perfect host and communicated with us before, during and after our stay, answering all our questions. Finding the property and checking in was easy. The location is a very quiet residential area, with reliable transport links (tram and bus) to all the major sights of interest, shopping centre and railway stations. The property itself is a beautiful art deco apartment which retains a lot of its original features, without sacrificing 21st century comfort and amenities. The bed was really comfortable and we slept very well. The kitchen is extremely well equipped and has everything you need to prepare and cook a full meal and there is a dishwasher (hurray!). Shower is great with an unfailing supply of hot water and having a washing machine and tumble drier was a real bonus as we arrived with a lot of laundry. The neighbours were friendly. If we come back to Den Haag, we hope to stay here again as it's a great base from which to explore both city and seaside.

We found the loft cozy and the view of the garden was beautiful. Brigitte always responded quickly. Perhaps in the future we will come back so that my husband can run in the dunes 😉

The flat is in a lovely 17th century house on the canal. It is a 15 minute walk from the station which is very convenient if you’re travelling around to other places as we did. Marjan is very nice and communicative.

We had a lovely few days at Yvonne’s place, enjoying the beautiful and peaceful countryside from their really excellent apartment. The place was exceptionally clean, comfortable, quiet and fully equipped - perfect for our needs and with the benefit of a lovely outdoor space to enjoy hot days and warm evenings. We would certainly return. Yvonne and Rob were outstanding hosts - friendly, helpful and generous - and we are happy to recommend both them and their apartment.

Oskar is a great host. He was ready to meet us as soon as we arrived and went through everything we needed to know. Apartment was filled with everything we could possibly need for our stay and was immaculate. Location is great, just a 5 min walk from Centraal station. Would highly recommend.

What a great place! We got a warm welcome from Ben! Highly recommend this place! We loved the details of the sign with our names on it!

We stayed 4 nights at Niels' and enjoyed every second! Niels was very flexible with the check-in, gave us a great introduction and also provided us directly with useful tips regarding the area. He also always responded directly when we had a question. The apartment was great! Everything extremely clean and perfectly equipped. The sea view and the short distance to the beach were the absolute highlights for us. We can absolutely recommend a stay and will definitely come back!

Jochem's place is, as others have said, whimsical and creative. He is the ultimate host, very generous with snacks, groceries, coffee, and wine (thank you!). It is clear that he has worked hard to create a unique environment. Here is our list of pros and cons: Pros: Communicative, responsive, kind and generous host Great, safe location - we walked everywhere in this beautiful city Very well stocked fridge, a bottle of wine as a welcome Great shower Nice, big bed Washer and dryer Cons: While Jochem has created nice "mood" lighting, it was somewhat dark for us, and particularly for a woman trying to put on makeup, fix hair, etc. There was absolutely no storage for our clothing, and being on a long trip, it was a challenge living out of suitcases on the floor. The toilet room sink is very tiny with only cold water, and we had to use the kitchen sink to wash up and brush our teeth. I could barely walk around the bed as it takes up most of the bedroom.

Elisabeth was a fantastic host. Her place was the perfect quaint home during our return visit to Wassenaar. Even though we knew the area well, Elisabeth gave us new recommendations and was very inviting to the area. She walked through everything with us upon arrival and the kids loved the idea of the (monk)key. Her home was well kept and it felt like home. The church bells in the morning was the perfect complement to waking up and enjoying that cup of coffee on the back patio. The home is conveniently located walking distance to local restaurants and shopping. I highly recommend Elisabeth if you ever find yourself in the area. After living here for some time it was nice to be back in Wassenaar to visit. When we visit again we will be sure to stay with Elisabeth.

This is a lovely home in a quiet and stunning setting on the water. Great for families with kids. This is a great location to explore the lake from and has lots of amenities available for the guests to keep kids busy. Hosts were so friendly and welcoming and made us feel at home. Highly recommend a stay here.

Tulipa was such a gorgeous place to stay. It is beautifully finished and very comfortable. We stayed on a family holiday with three generations and ten total people - and everyone was perfectly accommodated for. The en-suites are high end, the beds are very comfortable and the open space upstairs is lovely. There’s lots of free on-street parking, and it’s a few minutes walk to a bus stop which takes you to a train station. I would definitely recommend staying here!

Karin's stay was great. Everything was neatly clean and as described in the advertisement. The beach is a 30-minute walk away. First through the forest and then through the beautiful dunes. Shops are easy to reach. In short, we enjoyed and I will definitely recommend Karin's accommodation.

We booked the house because it appealed to us from the reviews. However, our expectations were far exceeded. We arrived in a house where we immediately felt at home. In the kitchen there is everything you need for daily use. Everything is very clean and tastefully decorated. Communication with Saskia was possible without any problems. We rented the house with a friendly couple and went home after a week very well recovered. We can recommend the house without hesitation. We would like to come back next autumn. Together with my friends, I had a wonderful and cozy stay in Woudrichem. The location is perfect – quiet, but with plenty to do in the area. Within 5 minutes you can be on the ferry to the atmospheric Gorinchem. The house itself is equipped with all comforts: a spacious kitchen, nice bathroom and both a front and back garden where you can sit comfortably. We really didn't miss anything! Our host Corrie was super hospitable. She welcomed us warmly and even had a delicious apple pie ready for us – so thoughtful! Recommended for anyone who wants to get away in their own country! 🌳🍰⛴️

Everything was perfect. Super nice house, with everything you could wish for. We ordered a hot tub and sauna for when we got home in the evening and everything was ready for us. Anotoinette was very accommodating and helpful both before and during the stay. We'd love to come again😊 On the slightly expensive side compared to other places, but clearly worth it.

Our short vacay was really nice at Suus‘ place :) Everything was like described and we felt really comfortable. The location of the apartment was perfect, especially for us as a family with a toddler. We can really recommend it!

Tess’s place is one of the best Airbnb’s we have stayed in. Tess met us for check in to show us the beautiful accommodations. She provided local recommendations. What I appreciated the most was the extra touches she put into making the place feel special. There were live flowers in vases, a bottle of wine, waffles, and coffee ready for us. I found everything to be just perfect.

Margriet greeted us personally and showed us everything. The apartment was cozy and everything you needed was there. The bus stop and a supermarket are also nearby. The location was very quiet and we were able to park in front of the door. To the beach it's a 10-minute bike ride. We were able to use Margriet's bikes for free. Everything great!

We really like the accommodation for its location in relation to the country's landmarks. The hosts always very friendly and super quick to respond to messages. Although the room is inside their house we never lacked privacy and we had everything we needed inside the room :)

We had a wonderful time, the cottage is very nice and cozy, equipped with all comforts and with a large balcony on the sunny side. The nodes for cycling are everywhere. A beautiful environment between the great rivers. Bicycles to borrow are available in the shed ( with a swallow nest) Our stay in one word:: great. Thank👏😀 you Goodbye.

Great apartment with good amenities in an optimal location to the beach and the promenade. Very quiet. Very friendly and nice contact. Loving furnishings with small touches. Kitchen with coffee machine. Coffee, jam were even included. Parking nearby. However, we did not move the car during our stay. Everything was good and easy to reach by bike and public transport. If there was anything to complain about, a few hooks for jackets inside would be good. You don't have a sea view from the apartment, but just around the corner and you were there. Conclusion: We were here in the area for the first time. If we want to come back here again, we'd love to stay in this apartment again.

We really enjoyed our stay. Floor was very friendly and nice. The Airbnb is close (~15 min walk) to the train station and city centre. We would definitely stay there again. Thanks!
