Holiday rentals with a fire pit in Leelanau County

Perfect location and a wonderful host! Far enough away from downtown for privacy, but close enough where it’s easy to get to everything (downtown Traverse City, Old Mission wineries, etc) also there’s a very nice walking path in the back, which is a great way to start the morning. Highly recommend!

Can’t say enough good things about our stay! Joe let us check in early, which was super helpful. We were a group of two families with lots of little kids, and the house was set up in a way where we all felt comfortable and kids were able to play and run around outside. The house is super clean and deceptively spacious, and everyone had plenty of room. Joe communicated with us throughout our stay to make sure we had what we needed, and even gave us the option to check out a bit late. It’s a great house for groups (especially families) in a quiet, beautiful location. We will definitely be back!

My husband and I love the Leelanau peninsula and try to go up once in the spring before the craziness and once in the fall each year. Tiffany’s place did not disappoint. The property its self was magical, private, and everything as described. The location was 5 stars for what we enjoy - Leland, Suttons Bay, Northport, Glen Arbor and all in between! Would HIGHLY recommend staying here!

we loved to stay at this cabin in the Woods while exploring northern michigan! beautiful nature spot, great base to explore the surroundings, diving into touristic spots like Traverse City, Sleeping Bear Dunes, Northport and Point Betsie Lighthouse, all in 20-30min reach whilst enjoying the tranquility of the Cedar small town and its wonderful people and places! the Kids (5 and 8) loved their upstairs hideaway, Fireplace outside and the deers close by ... its been a wonderful time for our Summer in Michigan!

We had a wonderful stay at Chris's listing! Gorgeous Airbnb, very clean and well-decorated, and accommodating to all things we needed! The location was great and private, but still close enough to downtown Traverse City and other beaches. Our dog also had a fun time running around in the private yard. Chris was also a great host, was super responsive and helpful, and we loved the local tecommendations!

We loved this cozy cabin in the woods. It was clean, comfortable, and had plenty of space for our family of three. Loved that there were travel sized shampoos, conditioner, and soaps. Also they left a little snack bowl out with chips and popcorn and a s’mores kit! Thoughtful touches!!!

We cannot say enough good things about your stay & Beth! My family was in town for our wedding & Beth was more than accommodating with early check in so we could get things going! While I had a busy weekend as the bride, Beth sent multiple messages checking in on us & letting us know if we needed anything to just reach out! Even my mother mentioned how amazing that the home had everything stocked & we didn’t need to bring a thing! Something that not every Airbnb offers. The home looked right out at the water, it was updated and such stunning features, lots of spacious areas & rooms, and truly the perfect place to reset during a busy weekend! We hope to stay with Beth at this stunning home again on our next trip to Traverse!

Private cabin in the woods, conveniently located for exploring Sleeping Bear Dunes and Traverse City.

I absolutely loved my stay at this charming studio! It had everything I needed for a comfortable and relaxing solo retreat. The setting is incredible - right on the water. The views were breathtaking, especially at sunrise, and the private sandy beach made it feel like a hidden oasis. The landscaping is gorgeous , and the beachfront seating, fire pit, and beach toys made it easy to unwind and enjoy. The patio was a perfect spot to relax with a view and peaceful atmosphere. The owners were so kind and welcoming. It felt tucked away, yet still close to everything. Truly the best of both worlds. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a quiet, and relaxing stay with stunning setting.

Cathy was a great hostess, and was helpful and friendly, without being obtrusive. Lisa had clear communication and fast responses to my questions. Locations was lovely and as described, makung for a great place to stay while in the area for a friend's wedding. My children loved walking through Cathy's garden and looking for chipmunks and birds. I would absolutely recommend others consider Cathy's place as a place to stay in the area. Thank you Cathy! :)

Nice little place in the village of Northport. Quiet and clean with beautiful breezes at night to have a restful night. It was a great place and the host did a great job of making her home a great destination

William was a wonderful host and his 2 bedroom (both with kind sized beds) and 2 full baths was perfect for our couples’ getaway. Sutton’s Bay is gorgeous. So convenient to be close the Mawby Winery, which we love, and the Bahle Golf Course. We used the pool, the grill and it was an added bonus to play fetch with his sweet dog. Highly recommend this AirBNB.

David and Nicole were exceptional hosts. They were extremely responsive and genuinely vested in a comfortable and pleasurable stay. Their attention to detail, well equipped accommodations made my stay better than my own home. Everything in its place and easy to find. I stay in Airbnb’s all over the country and this is easily top 3 and they have a very happy repeat client as long as they will have me. Thanks for an excellent experience David and Nicole. This location was very close to Traverse City Horse Shows. I appreciate being able to bring my dog.

This was a fully equipped studio apartment, it had everything that we needed for our stay. I really liked the laundry room and ability to do a couple of loads while we were there. We also cooked at least a meal a day, and everything worked well. The refrigerator is full sized and has full size freezer as well. This is a great location as it is right on a main street downtown with some shopping and restaurants close by, a grocery store within a couple of blocks, and the lake within walking distance as well. Our grandkids really liked the park that was only two blocks away, and we played some pickle ball there, too. Glen Arbor is truly a nice, clean, safe town. Great place to visit.

This location is absolutely beautiful. This condo is part of a Marina complex. You drive in past the Marina store to the condo. There is a sandy beach with beach toys, there is a dock with slips , the water was crystal clear. I was up in Glen Arbor to take pictures and I couldn't have asked for a better location. Within about a mile there are several restaurants, and a supermarket. The location is minutes from Sleeping Bear Dune National Lakeshore. Every time I visit I discover something new to photograph. Shannon responded to my questions very quickly. I would highly recommend.

Our stay here was perfect for a girls weekend! It was exactly what we were expecting and the place was pristine! The beach was easy to access and the board games came in handy!

My husband, dog and I enjoyed a relaxing weekend getaway at Darren’s AirBnB. It’s close to nearby Leland/Fish Town, wineries, and trails, and only a 30 minute scenic drive to downtown Traverse City. The views are breathtaking and the cabin itself is beautiful. Spending the evenings/nights in the hot tub and making s’mores by the fire, all while being surrounded by the peaceful woods overlooking the lake, simply cannot be beat. We will definitely be back!

Exactly what we needed for a long weekend, peaceful surrounding, disconnected to regroup and breath. If you want to admire the star without any light pollution, perfect spot. House was great, plenty of space and of course dog friendly (our trusted Viszla loved it too….dog approved). Just 10min from Suttons Bay and 20 from Traverse City. Jess was super responsive and accommodating

The forest cabin is was so peaceful and relaxing. Me and my girlfriends stayed here for a long weekend and enjoyed every moment. We were able to unplug a bit and just enjoy the environment and each other - just what we needed! The interior design is thoughtfully done and as a designer I appreciated all of the art, comfy and good looking furniture, delicious coffee pour overs, campfire ring, adorable pottery trinkets in the bathroom and around the property, interesting architecture, and native landscape design. I also appreciated the wine and coffee! Both such a welcoming, cozy touch. 💛

We had plenty of room for 8 adults and one infant. It was well stocked with kitchen utensils, dishes, a propane grill, and was in a great location for exploring this beautiful part of Northern Michigan. The beds were firm but comfortable, the property was beautiful, and we had a great time. It was on a busy road but the traffic noise inside the home was barely noticeable. I would not hesitate to stay here again.

Such a cute place to stay and we had a blast on our Girls Trip! It was so comfy and inviting, plus the hot tub was a great amenity to have nightly after a long day in Traverse. Leigha was responsive to all our questions and gave great suggestions on local area things to do. Would definitely return!

We had a great stay with our family including 3 young children. The property has a large and natural beach, which is rare for either Glen or Little Glen lake. There is plenty of shade in the back yard and the trees attracted a Bald Eagle which we saw repeatedly during our stay. The house is straight out of a 1970 time capsule but in pristine shape. Although it lacked A/C, there were enough fans that if open windows weren't enough, the fans worked out well. We would return to this property. Peter is a great and attentive house.
